Duke Haborym did not hesitate. His foot slamd into the ground.
BOOM!
From that single step, an imnse tide of hellfire erupted outward, swelling into a monstrous tsunami of erald flas that roared across the battlefield with unstoppable force, devouring everything in its path as it surged toward Damian.
The pressure crashed down once more. But this ti, it was different.
Damian stood his ground, his eyes steady as the incoming inferno reflected within them. The suffocating weight that had once threatened to crush him now felt manageable. He had endured it once. His body had adapted and mind had sharpened.
This was no longer unfamiliar territory!
His gaze narrowed.
’It’s not the pressure... it’s the volu.’
That was the true problem.
His white flas, the Ninefold Samsara Firefox, were powerful beyond reason, capable of consuming other flas, but they were bound to a technique. Their output had limits. No matter how potent they were, they could not endlessly expand.
But his other flas were primal soul skills that drew directly from his demonic force. With enough demonic force invested, he should be able to create flas of similar volu.
In their last clash, he had relied on superiority. But now he understood that sotis quantity beats quality.
Bam!
Damian stomped the ground.
A violent surge of azure flas exploded outward from beneath his feet, swelling instantly into a massive tidal wave that rushed forward to et the incoming hellfire. The two infernos charged at each other like opposing oceans, their roars rging into a deafening catastrophe.
As the flas surged, Damian’s vision flickered briefly. A series of notifications flashed across his mind.
His demonic force was dropping.
Rapidly.
In just sixty seconds, he had already burned through sixty units, the cost of maintaining such a massive output tearing through his reserves without rcy.
[Demonic Force 800/1400]
That ant one thing. Eight hundred seconds was all he had to end this battle. There was no room for mistakes or room for hesitation.
Far from the chaos, atop the only surviving building, Linda watched in stunned silence.
The sky itself had changed.
Azure and erald flas rose high into the heavens, stretching like twin pillars of destruction before crashing toward each other. The world below was painted in their colors, blue and green swallowing everything as the battlefield transford into a realm of fire.
Her breath caught.
Even after everything that had happened, even after witnessing the devastation firsthand, she could not bring herself to hate Damian.
She knew the truth. Corbin had betrayed him first and yet, Damian had spared him. He had spared her as well. That alone was enough to shatter everything she had been taught.
This man was not what they claid demons to be. But he still possessed the power of darkness, so she couldn’t overlook his flaws either.
However what bothered her the most was that her life now depended on a man who wielded a power she had been trained her entire life to destroy. Her fingers trembled slightly as she felt her faith waver.
But then the clash ca.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The two infernos collided.
Azure and erald flas tore into each other violently, devouring, crushing, and exploding upon impact. Shockwaves rippled outward, ripping through the air as the ground below fractured further under the sheer force of their collision.
The light was blinding.
The azure flas surged forward, their brilliance casting a massive shadow behind Damian, stretching across the battlefield and towering over everything in sight.
At that mont he looked larger and more imposing, like sothing beyond human. Linda’s eyes widened as she stared at his figure, her heart pounding in her chest.
And then she heard it.
Damian’s voice tore through the chaos, rising above the screaming flas as it echoed across the battlefield.
"IT’S TI TO END THIS!!!"
A cataclysmic explosion erupted as the clashing erald and azure infernos were violently torn apart, blown into fragnts by the sheer force of Damian and Duke Haborym’s fists colliding midair.
BOOOOOOM!!!
For a brief mont, the world seed to lose its voice.
Then the wind ca.
Violent currents surged outward in all directions, spiraling around the two figures at the center of the clash. The air howled as it twisted and churned, whipping Damian’s hair and robe into a frenzy as his body held its ground against the monstrous force pressing against him.
Their fists remained locked several seconds and then....
Crack!
Damian’s arm gave way.
His skin split open in multiple places, tearing violently as blood burst outward. Flesh peeled back, exposing jagged bone that protruded grotesquely from his forearm. The damage spread instantly, veins rupturing under the unbearable strain as the backlash of the collision ravaged his body.
"Ghh—!"
His vision blurred.
Pain surged through him like lightning, threatening to break his focus and shatter his control. But he did not retreat. Instead, a twisted, sadistic smile spread across his face and madness flickered in his eyes.
A ssage flashed.
[Dark Miracles Skill Activated!]
The effect was imdiate!1
In the very next instant, the damage shifted.
Duke Haborym’s arm exploded.
"GRAAAAAH!!!"
Blood burst from every inch of his limb as his flesh tore apart just as Damian’s had monts ago. His skin split violently, muscle unraveling as bone forced its way through, protruding at unnatural angles.
At the sa ti Damian’s arm healed.
Flesh knitted together at an impossible speed. Bone snapped back into place, skin sealing over it in an instant as if the injury had never existed at all.
The reversal was absolute!
The Duke roared, his three voices rging into a single cry of pain and fury as his damaged arm spasd uncontrollably.
But Damian gave him no ti. His fist descended like a falling star.
Boom!
It crashed into Duke Haborym’s face with overwhelming force, the impact detonating upon contact as a shockwave blasted outward. The Duke’s massive body was launched. He was sent hurtling across the sky, his form spinning uncontrollably as the force carried him away, tearing through the air like a ragdoll thrown by a god.
From the rooftop Linda shot to her feet.
Her eyes widened to their limits, her breath catching in her throat as disbelief flooded her expression.
"He... overpowered it?!" she scread, her voice trembling as it echoed across the battlefield.
She could not believe what she had just witnessed.
