Adrian knelt on the cold forest floor with both hands raised above his head and his eyes squeezed shut. His entire body trembled uncontrollably while tears mixed with dirt on his face.
Yet despite kneeling, despite his body being pressed down by fear, his posture looked strangely reverent.
anwhile, Rin stood proudly atop Adrian’s head with its tiny chest puffed outward and its tails swaying lazily behind it like a victorious beast that had just conquered sothing far larger than itself.
The contrast between the small fox and the completely broken demon beneath it felt absurd enough to amuse Damian.
Damian sat lazily upon the floating throne suspended in midair and crossed one leg over the other while resting his elbow against the armrest. His fingers brushed lightly across the neat layer of soft violet fur decorating the throne and his eyes narrowed slightly in appreciation.
This thing was ridiculously comfortable. The cushion adjusted itself naturally to his posture and the throne itself remained perfectly stable despite floating several feet above the ground. Combined with the faint warmth spreading through the seat and the way it responded subtly to his thoughts, Damian could not deny it.
Godhood truly looked comfortable.
His gaze slowly drifted back down to the kneeling figure and he asked casually,
"Why would you put him through all this if you knew we were still going to make him suffer?"
Rin raised its tiny chin proudly and flicked one tail dismissively. "He has been good so I think we should let him off with a slap on the wrist. It isn’t his fault he’s stupid."
Damian rolled his eyes imdiately.
"That isn’t enough to save his life. I need a tangible compensation for the discomfort I endured because of it."
The demon possessing Adrian finally gathered enough courage to speak.
"Pleas—"
BAM!
An invisible force struck Adrian from the side so violently his body rolled across the ground several tis before crashing against a tree trunk.
Strangely, Rin remained floating exactly where it had stood before without moving an inch despite having no visible support.
The tiny fox turned its glowing eyes toward the collapsed demon.
"You only speak when my lord grants you permission to." Its voice was cold.
Damian blinked in shock as he stared at Rin. Even this tiny fox was a bully?
What the hell, was everyone in the underworld like this?
Unfortunately his thoughts did not remain private. Rin slowly turned and stared directly at himbut Damian imdiately looked away with an awkward expression.
For a brief second he imagined getting slapped by that tiny paw and walking around with a paw print branded across his face and his shoulders stiffened.
Coughing lightly to hide his embarrassnt, Damian returned his attention to Adrian.
"Which of my brothers do you serve?" His tone beca casual again.
Before the demon could answer, Rin added coldly, "And rember, we will slaughter you if you attempt to call him by his na. You will be long dead before your master finds a way to get here."
The demon trembled instantly as it’s s fear deepened.
Never in its life had it encountered a human that radiated this sort of pressure. It felt like they barely tolerated its existence.
It reminded him of the only ti he had ever seen the Prince of Pride. Back then he stood amongst countless demons as Sol passed through a massive avenue.
Sol had never looked at him or acknowledged anyone.Yet every demon instinctively lowered their heads and stepped aside.
Nobody dared breathe loudly or et his gaze. They simply felt dirty like insects.
That sa feeling was here again. The new Prince of Lust was nothing like Lin Qui. Lin Qui treated demons with unsettling kindness.
But this one...This one sat above him casually and spoke about suffering with complete indifference.
This one was closer to Sol and sohow that terrified him more because only soone walking the sa path as that monster could possibly grow at this speed.
The demon suddenly lost control as warm liquid spread beneath Adrian’s knees. His eyes widened when he realized he had peed himself.
But it’s fear was not exaggerated. The underworld was already unstable enough because every demon knew if Sol beca Demon Lord, the demon race will beco extinct.
And now another Sol has appeared?
The thought almost broke him. To think this was the prince the entire underworld was hoping would stop Sol.
He wanted to laugh inwardly but felt the urge to cry outwardly.
"L... Lord Astaroth..." His voice trembled.
Buzz.
Rin’s face instantly turned expressionless and Damian’s eyes slowly narrowed. He had already read enough from Rin’s mind to know who Astaroth was.
He was the leader of the Council. The Strongest Duke of hell.
Damian leaned deeper into his throne and crossed his legs while resting his chin against one hand.
His eyes burned brighter as a vicious grin spread across his face.
"Well... I’ll be damned."
The demon noticed imdiately. This na visibly shook the prince and the fox.
"What were your orders?" Rin’s voice beca colder.
This ti the demon hesitated. His lips trembled but his fear was soon stolen as he heard foxes laughing.
Slowly he raised his head only to see sothing massive looming ehind Damian.
It was a blazing gigantic eyeball floated silently in the air with five tails. Its size alone dwarfed the kneeling demon and the white flas illuminated the entire forest.

Damian looked down with glowing white eyes.
"My buddy asked you a question." His voice dropped lower. "I am pretty sure you’re aware he doesn’t like repeating himself."
The demon scread imdiately.
"Samsara Fire!"
His entire body shook violently. For demons this was considered as one of the worst ways to die.
Instantly his resistance collapsed.
"We were told to find you! Then observe! To know what kind of person you are! Please!"
Damian slowly turned to Rin and they stared at each other briefly but when they looked back the demon was sobbing in Adrian’s body.
"Damn. You made him pee himself." Damian chuckled as he noticed the soaked part of his pants
Rin imdiately rolled its eyes.
"Idiot. It’s your little fireball that scared him."
"I could have sworn it was you smacking him around." Damian laughed.
Rin looked at him and then smirked mischievously.
"Hmph. Did you pee yourself when Duke Haborym was smacking you around?"
Buzz!
Damian imdiately rose halfway from the throne.
"Bastard,ba are you trying to start a fight here?"
Rin calmly turned around and sat proudly with its tails swaying victoriously.
Clearly, it had no remorse.
