Killing Battlefield, at the edge, four mbers of the Beast Clan rushed forward quickly.
Leading the charge was a giant brown serpent, half a ter in diater and five to six ters long. Behind the serpent were two humanoid beasts. One was burly and nearly three ters tall, with feet resembling bull hooves. His bare upper body was covered in fur, and his head had a pair of massive bull horns. Despite walking upright like a human, he looked no different from a bull-like Strange Beast.
The other figure was much slimr and smaller, with a body even skinnier than many slender won in the Human Clan. However, his face resembled that of a fox.
At the rear was a beast covered in thick scale armor, resembling a pangolin but with the size of an elephant, equipped with sharp claws like those of an eagle.
Behind these four beasts, nurous green tentacles chased them like giant pythons.
Suddenly, two of the tentacles extended swiftly behind the beast, then slamd down heavily. The tentacles were covered with dense spikes, resembling a cat’s tongue!
"Bang... bang..."
The tentacles landed with a soft sound, and two clear sparks appeared on the thick scales on the beast’s back.
Using the force of the impact, the beast quickly surged ahead, instantly widening the distance from the pursuing tentacles.
The force of the two striking tentacles was extrely terrifying, yet the beast seed completely unhard.
"There are outside monsters!"
"Immortal Lord Chuan Jia, although these outside monsters are formidable under the current rules, if the four of us join forces, we should be able to annihilate them. Shall we do it?"
The beast who was initially at the rear, showing displeasure, said, "What’s the benefit of killing them? I’ve said before that unless these outside monsters gather in large numbers or are extrely powerful, only then might there be treasure where they are.
For outside monsters of this level, there’s no treasure where they are. If it’s a normal situation, killing them is fine, but now it would take considerable effort, and we gain nothing. Why waste our effort on them!"
Beside him, the slender fox beast nodded, saying, "So, we move on?"
"Wait..." Suddenly, Immortal Lord Chuan Jia raised a hand, speaking softly, "There’s movent. There might be mbers of the Alien Race coming. Let’s set an ambush. Perhaps we’ll have so unexpected gains."
As Flourishing Flower Immortal Monarch advanced, she spoke to her senior sister, "Senior sister, when we return, we must cultivate our bodies."
As she spoke, she reached out to touch her arm.
"Indeed, we should cultivate the body," Immortal Lord Fu Liu nodded slightly. Ahead, Sword Lord Yu Hua’s serious voice suddenly echoed.
"There’s movent. Be careful!"
Hardly had the words been spoken when the sound of ’rustle, rustle’ reached them, and wild grasses around them suddenly bent aside. At the sa ti, they rapidly extended toward their direction.
In the next mont, the sight of nurous thick tentacles appeared, at least eight of them. They were the sa dark green color as the wild grass, resembling giant serpents swiftly slithering across the ground, but more dangerous than serpents. Each tentacle was covered in sharp, reversed barbs, akin to sharp sickles, radiating a chilling gleam in the sunlight.
Outside monsters!
These outside monsters were characterized by being covered in tentacles.
On the outermost edge, Cao Zhen and the other three attacked simultaneously, hacking at the tentacles.
Although Cao Zhen couldn’t use Immortal Qi, the golden Sharp Sword in his hand moved, leaving a clear afterimage. As the sword cut through, the surrounding air visibly trembled.
Even without Immortal Qi, his physical strength was imnse. His sword strike generated a fierce wind that blew the grass around them aside.
In the next mont, the sharp blade slashed heavily onto one tentacle, instantly severing the sharp spikes, and the sword cleaved into the tentacle, causing it to split open. A dark green liquid shot out from the wound’s edges.
His sword stabbed into the center of the tentacle, and, even when pierced, the tentacle seed to grow more ferocious. The front and rear ends of the tentacle simultaneously lashed out, smashing toward Cao Zhen.
anwhile, another tentacle extended towards the three won behind him. The massive tentacle swept through the air with the montum of a giant pillar crashing down.
This outside monster, even under circumstances where Immortal Qi couldn’t be used, could discern who was strong and who was weak, knowing to pick the easier targets?
A flash of surprise crossed Cao Zhen’s eyes. He stomped forcefully on the tentacle beneath him. The sharp spikes penetrated his shoe but didn’t harm his foot at all. Utilizing the stomping force, he leaped away, simultaneously withdrawing the sword from the tentacle. The power of the withdrawal caused the wound on the tentacle to spew a fountain of green liquid.
