William considered Victor unforgivable.

As he tried to attack, the red light from Victor beca clearer, no longer just transparent.

His body was pushed to beco even stronger.

Instead of dodging, Victor chose to strike the spear—not its sharp edge.

With a Diamond Skeleton, he did not fight by avoiding sharp things.

BANG!

His fist knocked the spear away, then slamd into William’s chest.

William was sent flying like a thrown stone.

His appearance imdiately beca disheveled, and his face showed nothing but shock.

Victor had already appeared in front of him before he realized it.

He kicked his chest without giving him any chance to evade, sending him flying once more.

As he was thrown back, two of his Will Powers jumped out of his body, imdiately stabilizing him. But as soon as they appeared, the light formation suppressed them, forcing them back into William’s body.

His expression worsened.

He glared at Carla angrily.

"Sister Junior, you are really helping an outsider," he said, still in disbelief.

To him, his defeat was not because he was weaker, but because his power had been suppressed too much.

On the other hand, Victor kept chasing him, not giving him any chance to fight back.

He knew William was struggling to even use techniques—it was extrely easy to suppress him.

As he continued to receive blows and grew more frustrated, he gradually lost his combat instincts and began retaliating with random, unstructured attacks.

There was no room to escape.

His skin began to fill with bruises and tears from pure physical strikes.

As ti passed, he could no longer withstand Carla’s continuous assault.

Those light spears weakened him further, and Victor realized they were also disrupting the flow of energy in his body whenever they pierced through him.

His Cultivation was suppressed even more.

In the end, he even stopped emitting aura, could no longer fly, and fell beside Carla.

Carla then used white chains to bind his body.

She looked at Victor as he approached, smiling.

"I didn’t expect it to be this easy," she said.

"He’s talented, but stupid," Victor replied.

Fortunately, he had taken Alexandra away, causing this man to chase him.

If the fight had continued with Alexandra, William might have eventually lost anyway.

That made him owe sothing to Alexandra, even though nothing would happen even if he didn’t repay it.

"You bastard, if you dare, fight fairly. I don’t even mind lowering my cultivation," William said angrily after being called stupid.

"I’m sure the result would be the sa," Carla said.

"Sister Junior, you’ve been blinded by him." William began to think Carla was like Alexandra—losing reason because of Victor.

Little did he know, Carla had already been unreasonable from the start.

Carla looked too lazy to respond.

She pulled the ring from William’s hand and frowned.

"So your grandfather placed a special seal on your ring so its bond with you can’t be forcibly broken unless you’re killed," she said.

"Yes. You can’t steal anything from , and if you do anything, my grandfather will know even if he’s asleep," William replied.

"You don’t want to hand over the Core of Heaven Light?" Carla asked.

"Sister Junior, why would I give my belongings to an outsider?" William replied.

"That’s your right, but I can torture you here if you don’t comply."

William’s expression worsened upon hearing that, not expecting Carla to go this far in helping Victor rob him.

He was visibly shaken when he heard the word torture.

At that mont, five needles appeared in Carla’s hand—pitch black.

"You—" William imdiately trembled.

"Black Demon Needle. Sothing from the Ancient Demon Continent that is feared by all users of light power, especially those with light-type physiques. The pain it inflicts is unbearable. Even elders can’t endure it, let alone soone young like you. Are you sure you want to experience it?" Carla smiled faintly, but cruelty could be seen in her eyes.

"Stop!" William imdiately responded.

He was already drenched in sweat.

He seed extrely afraid.

"Can you give a few of those needles?" Victor asked Carla.

"Yes..." She looked slightly surprised but nodded.

"I only have five—three for you," she said.

She handed three needles to Victor.

They were clearly valuable items, but she didn’t hesitate.

William looked even more shocked.

"Hand it over now!" Carla shouted.

With a sullen expression, William was forced to take sothing out of his ring, which was still being held by Carla.

It was a crystal, white like milk, flashing sharp light continuously.

"You don’t even need it anymore, yet you still keep it," Carla snorted softly.

"Victor, you can consu it directly. Don’t worry, there are no side effects. This is sothing we only produce two of in one era," she said.

Victor accepted it and observed it briefly.

He could sense danger if there was any—but there wasn’t.

So he swallowed it without hesitation.

Buzz!

Light radiated from him—white, but extrely pure white.

For Heaven Class light, its color was not golden, but the purest white.

Two notifications appeared before Victor’s eyes, making him smile.

Then he looked at Carla.

"Does he have anything else useful?" he asked.

"You bastard, if you dare, fight fairly!" William shouted again, but Victor ignored him.

"Maybe a lot, but nothing useful for you," Carla replied.

"What a pity." Victor knew he couldn’t push things too far.

Everything here depended on Carla.

If she didn’t help, William could fight back and call for help.

Even if Alexandra protected him with formations, things would still be troubleso.

"He definitely won’t stay quiet after this," Victor said.

"Don’t worry. I’ll keep him trapped in this formation until you leave the sect. Just a few days of not being seen—no one will realize William is being held by ," Carla replied.

"What if you just give this formation and let take him away?" Victor asked.

"Mm..." Carla beca awkward.

"That would cause too many problems," she said.

"You don’t want to?" Victor asked, moving closer, lifting her chin so their faces t.

The woman blushed, though her eyes showed excitent.

Even so, she shook her head.

"I don’t dare go that far. It would create too much chaos," she said.

"If only our sect were as weak as others, maybe it could be done," she added.

"Hmph!" Victor snorted in dissatisfaction.

He began to feel that Carla could be a woman he could continue to use.

As long as she could be useful, he didn’t mind fulfilling her desires.

But it turned out she still didn’t dare cross certain boundaries.

"Sorry..." Carla lowered her head shyly.

William only looked more furious.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Victor and Carla exited the formation, reappearing in William’s residence—while William remained trapped inside.

"It seems it’s already night," Carla said upon seeing the dark window.

At night, the light that illuminated this region faded, leaving only moonlight and starlight.

Perhaps even the Holy Light Sect could not endure without night.

"Victor, let’s go. The World of Light is already open."

Victor followed her, leaving William’s residence behind—now empty.

What he didn’t expect was that their destination was actually the foot of a mountain, at its rear, still within the sect’s fortified area.

The place was covered in short grass, and there was a rotating light portal.

It was guarded by an old man, this ti with long hair reaching past his knees.

Several disciples were allowed to enter after showing sothing to the old man—likely proof of contribution to qualify.

Without sufficient contribution, entry was impossible.

Carla and Victor caused the waiting disciples to stop.

They had no choice but to move aside when Carla passed.

"Miss!" The old man guarding the portal greeted her, looking curious about her purpose.

"Let Victor enter," Carla said indifferently.

Victor didn’t bother waiting for permission.

He stepped into the portal.

As expected, the long-haired old man could only watch, while the disciples frowned.

They had to earn their way in—but this man entered just like that.

Victor felt as if he had entered another world.

For a mont, his vision was filled with light—then he appeared in a place that felt warm.

Everything was light. There was only light.

He floated without trying to fly.

Others could be seen above and below him, ditating seriously.

Calling it the World of Light was not wrong.

Because of the overwhelming light here, Victor felt it seep into his pores, flow into his body, and rge with his blood.

Still filled with curiosity about the limitation within his body, Victor sat down in a ditative position.

Whether he could awaken talent or not no longer mattered to him.

He simply wanted to understand what was truly limiting him.
