That feeling was elusive, like she had floated out of her body, watching herself singing from another's perspective; even though the body was hers, it felt strangely unfamiliar.
She wanted to grasp that feeling, hold it in her palm.
She did not want to pass up this opportunity.
Xu Xiaoyou was montarily taken aback, but seeing the other's serious expression, she nodded: "Of course."

A golden line traced across the sky, dawn broke in the distance.
The two girls sat face to face on the bed, the flickering candlelight reflecting off half their faces, with Tang Xin resting her legs on the bed's headboard, swaying gently.
"I didn't expect anyone would really want to listen to sing all night," Tang Xin softly said. "Thank you."
Through singing, she mastered many vocal techniques she had never noticed before, making significant progress, though she still went off-key at tis, but compared to before, she had taken a significant step forward.
Suddenly, she felt that the other person wasn't that hard to get along with, and had a pretty good personality.
"Honestly, I'm actually exhausted," Xu Xiaoyou yawned, her head resting on the bedhead.

Two sounds rang out simultaneously, causing Tang Xin to bow her head in so embarrassnt.
Xu Xiaoyou spread her hands helplessly.
They hadn't eaten anything for over half a day, and Xu Xiaoyou had only had a bowl of instant noodles all day.
And now, together they had not a single unit of inspiration.
"I'm so hungry; if only we could have so bread right now," Xu Xiaoyou said casually.
Tang Xin rembered sothing and quickly ran to the bed to rummage through her belongings, finally pulling out a piece of bread wrapped in a plastic bag.
Xu Xiaoyou recognized it; it was the bread she had bought for the other girl earlier in the day, and the other girl still had half left uneaten.
"If you don't mind, let's share it,"
Tang Xin said as she broke off a big piece of bread and handed it to Xu Xiaoyou.
Xu Xiaoyou had no objections and took the bread, stuffed it in her mouth, chewed on it, and struggled quite a bit before finally swallowing it.
The bread had long since gone stale, the wheat flavor faded, hardened by the weather, its previously fluffy fibers now shriveled and rough, difficult to swallow without water.
"This piece is mine, and this piece is yours." Tang Xin divided the bread and, after a mont of thought, gave the largest piece to Xu Xiaoyou.
"Wasn't the bread yours by purchase?"

As they ate, both Xu Xiaoyou and Tang Xin, seeing each other struggle with the dry bread, broke into silent laughter, as the warmth from the kettle filled the room, blurring their faces and rising to the ceiling.
