"Alright, I did overestimate the people from these island families." Bai Zhou shrugged.
"I heard your discussion." The gray-haired girl in the corner said coldly.
The two raised their eyebrows, and at that mont, Bai Zhou noticed a sharp glint. An inexplicable and familiar sense of crisis surged in his heart. He suddenly summoned the Blood Monarch, standing in front of Yun Yao.
The white arc of light clashed against the weapon in his hand, ricocheting throughout the room, piercing the neck of a dancing noble. The splattering crimson stunned everyone present.
The scorching hot bullet head bounced on the ground, reminiscent of the first crisp note of a death prelude played by the Grim Reaper strumming piano keys. The young man collapsed in response, a pool of blood spreading beneath him, eliciting screams from those present.
"Soone is attacking us!"
Bai Zhou was horrified, observing the bullet hole on the wall leading towards the distant second guest building. His gaze pierced through the gray rain curtain, swiftly traversing the vast green lawn, gazing towards a certain window.
A girl lay on the floor, maintaining a sniper position, a few strands of golden hair draped over the gunstock. She pulled the bolt, and a tallic cartridge case fell to the ground.
Xu Xiaoyou ticulously adjusted the scope, slightly altering the angle of the gun's muzzle. Through prior observation, she learned the positions of the entire Special Sixth Class team. The battlefield's layout unfolded in her mind.
The Special Sixth Class and the family mbers were in the central main building, while she was positioned in the southwest guest building. The straight-line distance exceeded two hundred ters. From the mont the opponents reacted to locking her position, it would take at least three minutes for them to reach her floor.
Chichu Hong was in the northeast window's library of the main building, seemingly on alert due to Anya's earlier released aura, but hadn't yet detected the disturbance here. Hearing this na, Yun Yao was stunned for a mont but quickly responded. Could that be the Prism Tier Cleaner who had attacked Bai Zhou on the cruise ship before?

Excited with heat in her brain, Yun Yao couldn't care any longer. Standing by the wall, she rampaged with the cannon aid at the distant guest building. The terrified screams of nobles nearby didn't help Yun Yao calm down. The excitent of facing a formidable enemy had her hormones flooding uncontrollably. She wanted to blast that mysterious one to pieces to present before the Chief, certain Chichu Hong would see her in a new light.
Bai Zhou knew he couldn't persuade Yun Yao in this state; it was their innate character flaw, and aside from the Chief, no one could restrain them at such tis.
Bai Zhou could only silently pray that there were no hiding family mbers in the guest building where Dark Gold Rose was, hoping it wouldn't directly collapse.
The bombardnt continued for nearly a minute until the cannon barrel overheated. The distant guest building groaned under the strain, and as the dust settled, Dark Gold Rose stopped, unscathed, even with clothes intact.
She gave the two here a thumbs-up, turning slowly under Yun Yao's twitching eyelids.
Yun Yao raised her cannon again, her face slightly twisted, firing once more at the direction of Dark Gold Rose. Astonishingly, the energy cannonballs intentionally avoided her, as though invisible hands diverted them from their original path, grazing that gray cloak and exploding behind her.
The heat wave billowed Dark Gold Rose's cloak, yet she remained unmoving, like a snow-covered cedar rooted to the ground.
"Impossible!" Yun Yao refused to believe, firing in rapid succession, all shells invariably straying from the girl's position. Until the entire floor's load-bearing walls neared collapse from the intense bombardnt, Dark Gold Rose remained unscathed.
"This, this cannot be!"
In Yun Yao's nearly tearing gaze, Dark Gold Rose raised her sniper rifle.
"Yun Yao!"
Bai Zhou roared, lunging towards Yun Yao. A bullet skimd over them, a deliberate mock, as if a warning. The opponent predicted their movent trajectory, corresponding with their post-dive direction.
Far away, Xu Xiaoyou also broke a sweat. She had just used five [Attack Deflection] cards, each ti deploying them when energy shells closed in, creating such visual effects. The sense of a looming crisis wasn't pleasant.
Now it's her turn to counterattack.
Previously constrained in the cruise ship's cramped environnt, she was now unrestricted. The battlefield was spacious enough to fully unleash her long-range deck.
[Headshot], [Dense Fire Net], [Suppressive Fire] ten of each transford into light, rging sequentially into Xu Xiaoyou's heavy sniper rifle. The crow-blue tallic barrel instantly radiated with overloaded incandescent red light. The heavy muzzle embedded deeply into the ground, with sporadic fiery emissions yearning for release.
Bai Zhou pulled Yun Yao behind a wall, dense sniper fire forming a tal storm, reducing nearby walls to rubble. God knows how that lunatic shot a sniper rifle at machine-gun speed, each bullet no less powerful than a direct bomb blast, occasionally suppressing them so they dared not peek out. Helplessly, they curled behind a small wall corner.
"Damn it... Bai Zhou, I admit I previously misunderstood you." Yun Yao teared up. Before today, she never imagined herself inferior in long-range fire coverage compared to any association's Cleaner.
The so-called Dark Gold Rose was indeed a monster!
