"How about the first ga being a gun assembly contest?" Xu Xiaoyou gestured towards the two piles of gun parts.
"As long as you can assemble the gun before , you can even kill ."
Saying this, Xu Xiaoyou took off her gloves, and only then did Mori recall that the other person had never removed her gloves in front of her before, likely to leave no trace of herself in everyday life.

Just as Mori finished assembling the upper half of the gun and was in the process of fitting the assembled chamber onto the lower fra, preparing to fill the magazine with bullets in its original position to complete the final loading, she reached out only to find nothing.
Looking up again, she saw Xu Xiaoyou gazing at her with a playful smile, holding a copper bullet between her fingers:
"Is this what you're looking for?"
Mori froze for a mont, reaching out to snatch it.
Xu Xiaoyou took a gentle step back, letting her grab emptily, then calmly completed the remaining assembly, loaded the bullet into the magazine, and slid it into the magazine well, slowly aiming it at her:
"You lost, Rice Wine."
"This isn't fair..." Mori bit her lip again, breaking it and drawing blood.
"This isn't fair, you're cheating..."
Xu Xiaoyou laughed and spread her hands innocently: "The rules didn't say I couldn't take your bullet."
"Let's play again." The long hair covered Mori's face, her expression indistinguishable in the darkness, only the faint and humble, pleading voice could be heard.
"The rules didn't say it was a one-round match, best of three."
"Alright."
Xu Xiaoyou deftly disassembled the gun she had assembled, readily agreeing to the girl's request.
The second round began shortly in tense anticipation. Having learned from the past, Mori watched over her gun parts and bullets like a protective wolf, to prevent her opponent from cheating like the last round.

Subconsciously, she observed Xu Xiaoyou again, who still maintained that unhurried deanor, yet her assembly speed was evidently faster than last ti, evidently also familiar with the assembly and disassembly steps, progressing at a similar pace to Mori.
Just as Mori was silently speeding up her actions, she caught sight of an unexpected scene, seeing Xu Xiaoyou suddenly taking a bullet and, while assembling the upper and lower gun parts, loaded that bullet into the chamber.
Why was she doing this step?
It didn't seem to be part of the standard assembly process?
What was her purpose for doing this?
Why pre-load the bullet in the chamber?
This scene threw Mori off, disrupting her original assembly rhythm. The glaring pale light overhead spun the entire world around her, cold sweat inexorably seeping out from her skin. Just as she snapped out of her daze, the dark muzzle was already pressed against her forehead, and the blonde girl's casual voice rang out:
"You lost again, Rice Wine."
Mori was stunned, as she had only just inserted the bullet into the magazine. In contrast, her opponent's gun remained empty beneath the iron-black fra, with Nothing in the magazine lying on the table, taunting her eyes.
She finally understood why Xu Xiaoyou loaded the bullet into the chamber beforehand. Doing so bypassed all the magazine-related steps, allowing her to finish this ga a step ahead despite their similar assembly speeds.
Xu Xiaoyou used her fingertip to flick the safety: "Sticking to the rules only leads to one's demise, understand?"
"Bang."
"You, wait!!"
Mori frantically reached out, but this ti her pleading was futile. Xu Xiaoyou snapped her fingers, and the Octagonal Spider mbers above responded. She watched helplessly as Owl's chains were released, falling heavily to the ground with a 'bang,' just like the sound the girl had mouthed, and like a Heavy Hamr smashing into her heart.
Watching another companion depart, the suffocating oppression and agony surged up, drowning out all her thoughts. The indescribable fear and confusion triggered a strong physical reaction, causing her stomach to churn, forcing her to dry heave until tear-filled eyes blurred the outline of the blonde girl in front of her.
The Devil...?
At least at this mont, the person before her appeared no different from a Devil in her eyes, more malevolent, more fond of playing with people's hearts. Her opponent had foreseen the outco of this bet from the beginning, simply deriving joy from the process of leading her in circles.
