Before leaving the prison, Sevia saw the citizens who had been caught by the soldiers earlier. Many were so frightened by the horrifying scene that they fainted on the spot, so leaned against the walls, vomiting everywhere, while the rest were herded into a line by the soldiers.

The difference was, they no longer pleaded with her for help as they did before, only gave her a silent glance, then lowered their heads and crawled into the cages under the violent threats of the soldiers.

In their hearts, they all knew that whether or not they were truly afflicted by the plague before, upon stepping into this death-cursed prison, in the face of this trial of life, all testimonies seed powerless.

All they could do was pray.

Pray that their bodies would rot quickly, that death would co swiftly.

...

Everyone arrived at the warden’s office, where all the decorations had been smashed to pieces. The round gold candelabra was crumpled into scrap iron, and a portrait with a red background and a gold fra laid on the ground, the glass shattered and covered with footprints.

The gaps chiseled out of the stone walls ford windows, through which one could look down to see the lower bailey packed with soldiers, surrounding it completely. In the center stood a tall woman on the execution platform, clad in Heavy Armor, her bright red plu blowing in the wind, enhancing her imposing figure.

The bloodstained guillotine stood tall, with an old man kneeling beneath the gaze of countless eyes, his tangled hair hiding his face.

"Vinos Feratu, are you aware of your cris?" the woman shouted.

"At the critical ti in combating the plague, you engaged in corruption and bribery, allowing others to enter the city to visit the prison, causing the plague to ravage the entire Kingdom, claiming countless lives!"

"In clandestine collusion with the Guard Corps Commander, you bribed an Assassin to infiltrate the Royal Palace, attempt to assassinate the King, and usurp the throne—such treasonous acts are unforgivable!"

"I admit it." The man groaned. "I am guilty...."

The crowd fell silent.

Suddenly, he burst into laughter.

"My only cri was not exposing your hypocritical true face sooner, you damned woman of the Titan Race."

"What right do you have to judge ? Clearly, you are the initiator of this disaster. It was you who ordered the old King to be imprisoned in his chambers, orchestrated the mass slaughter of Guardian Gods, violently suppressed Lords, and incited the wrath of Heaven, leading to the plague infecting the Kingdom."

"If not for your brutal policies after ascending power, so many people wouldn’t have perished. You indiscriminately imprisoned countless innocent citizens in jails, allowing them to rot to death. You are the one who plotted to seize power."

"You are the dictator, you tyrant, Belisa!"

"You have betrayed your people, betrayed your King, betrayed Pangard, betrayed this Kingdom!"

"This Kingdom is beyond saving. Just cut off my head! I will beco one of many Evil Ghosts, biting your thighs relentlessly, dragging you down to Hell, hahaha!"

At these words, the soldiers around began to murmur.

The woman wasted no more words, raised her long-handled axe, chopped off the man’s head, and flung it into the crowd.

"This is the consequence of disobedience; no matter who it is, I’ll chop off their head."

"Bring his head to hang on the city gates. I want those harboring ulterior motives to see what their end will be!"

The soldiers were petrified into silence.

For the first ti, Sevia saw with her own eyes the ruthless and despised female general, heavily criticized and feared by the masses; yet revered as a Demigod by the Titan People.

She was much taller than the average Titan Clan, nearly nine ters in height, her robust physique exuding divine Power beneath tightly coiled muscles.

As the execution concluded, the soldiers in the lower bailey dispersed, and Flora, who witnessed the entire scene, was visibly excited, fervently waving her fist.

"This is how it should be. Extraordinary tis call for iron-fisted ans. Only when they are afraid will these bastards behave. As for the old King, huh, I think he has truly lost his mind. Even now, he doesn’t realize that those damned rats are the source of this plague!"

"I think General Belisa did nothing wrong!"

Atula, seeing her friend’s agitation, didn’t refute her, only sighed lightly, shook her head, and led Sevia to continue forward.

"Aren’t you also quite admiring of this General?" Sevia asked.

"You’re right to say so." Atula scratched her head, "But indeed, there are innocent people being dragged into prison, perhaps just for coughing on the street and being apprehended by patrolling soldiers."

"Everyone is on edge; every day the guards receive countless number of reports. For a piece of bread, friends and family turn against each other, and turn them in."

"Ah, let’s not talk about it."

"Right or wrong, let ti be the judge."

After various turns, Sevia finally followed Atula to the female general’s presence. The woman did not remove her armor, yet just by sitting erect on her stone seat, she emitted an invisible dignity that commanded respect.

Apart from her and several mbers of the Titan Clan, the room also housed figures in black robes with bird-like beaks. One of them, dressed in the Platinum Priest Robe, with an irritated face, suddenly pointed at Belisa’s nose and yelled:

"Do you not understand human language?"

"Do you know who I am? I’m the Anger Archbishop, and you dare to treat with contempt! You and this kingdom on the brink of destruction are utterly foolish, damn it..."

The female general moved her finger ever so slightly, and a terrifying pressure descended from the sky. The youth’s face instantly distorted, spewing out curses and foul words, yet he pushed against it, seemingly contending with the oppressive force.

BOOM——

With a loud bang, the young man exploded into a slurry of blood on the spot, and the ground sunk several tens of centiters.

The wizards were silent, seemingly accustod to such events.

Sevia was surprised to discover,

even she had so trouble seeing through the general.

But she could perceive clearly the pervasive aura of death surrounding this female general, who was in a state of extre weakness.

Just like crushing a noisy ant with ease, General Belisa ignored the wizards, her gaze swept across the crowd, finally landing on Sevia, her expression becoming solemn.

"Atula, who is this?" she asked.

"General, she is my friend, she just wants to et you." Atula replied.

"Where is she from?"

"I... I’m not sure." Atula couldn’t answer.

Ultimately, she didn’t know much about this foreign friend she’d made.

As if scrutinizing the girl, Belisa stared intently at Sevia, the latter t her gaze without flinching.

Ti froze at that mont, sensing the dangerous atmosphere in the air, Atula was about to diffuse the situation when Belisa withdrew her gaze and let out a long sigh.

At that point, a strong sense of oppression surged like a tide, invisible flas of anger scorched the ground, causing the previously exploded blood slurry to rise and return to the pile of flesh on the ground.

In the blink of an eye, the youth’s form was restored, the Witch whispering in everyone’s ears.

"Shut up, you noisy old hag!" the youth roared, waving his hand.

Forcing himself to calm his explosive anger, the youth’s breathing gradually steadied, the blood vessels in his eyes receding.

"I will remain calm."
