Just as Chichu Chun was about to deal with the last person, intending to utilize Rampage Unrestrained against the pursuing forces once again, her dagger sunk into soone's neck. This ti, however, no blood erged, and the soft sensation made her doubt whether her attack had really hit sothing solid.
"Got you." The man grinned with a rigid smile.
Chichu Chun froze, then was grabbed by the wrist and lifted into the air.
The light had been too dim earlier, but now that she was closer, she could finally see the details under the man's trench coat: he was incredibly tall, his skin covered in stitching marks, with limbs so poorly coordinated that he seed like a patchwork of nurous body parts.
Chichu Chun was not willing to give in. Her boot tip flicked out a blade sared with spider venom. She bent and kneed, stabbing forward with her lower leg, aiming the blade at the man's chest, targeting his heart.
Even so, the man acted as if nothing had happened. He twisted his neck, his body crackling, and gave a cruel smile.
He reached out and grabbed Chichu Chun's leg, forcibly pulling out the blade that had pierced his heart, and then hurled Chichu Chun onto the ground with great force.
Chichu Chun rolled several tis before crashing into a wall, a sweet taste rising from her throat as blood spilled from the corners of her mouth.
Her whole body was nearly shattered, the buzzing in her ears making it hard for her to regain strength for a long ti.
In a daze, Chichu Chun saw the Era of the Dead mbers surrounding her. A pair of black gothic boots stepped towards her, and a baseball bat's tip pressed against her chin, forcing her to et those eyes with criss-crossed pupils.
"Well done, Titans." Vlad II squatted in front of Chichu Chun, saying with a smile.
"Those useless fools are certainly not as reliable as my dearest Titans, capturing the unruly one so quickly."
The hefty figure known as Titans responded with heavy panting, loyally standing by the girl's side.
"Anything else to say?" Vlad II raised an eyebrow at Chichu Chun.
"Cool." Chichu Chun said through her teeth.
"Huh?" Vlad II hadn't expected such a response from the girl.
Chichu Chun continued: "Don't get wrong, I'm not talking about you; I'm talking about the weapon in your hand. It's pretty cool. What's its na?"
"As for you, your taste in clothes is really bad. This is not gothic at all. Are you perhaps into landmine fashion, or just a delinquent girl?"
The mbers of the Era of the Dead around couldn't hold back their laughter, surprised at how sharp-tongued Chichu Chun could be, each sentence dancing on their leader's trigger point.
"Stubborn even in death." Vlad II's forehead veins popped, "Will you open your mouth yourself, or do I need to pry it open with Alice?"
"Are you going to feed candy? Sure, I love sweets. Yum～"
The buzzing finally receded from Chichu Chun's ears as she shalessly opened her mouth.
Vlad II, instead of getting angry at the girl's provocation, excitedly licked his teeth: "You've killed so many of my n, I plan to pry out your teeth one by one, for every one you killed. I'll make a necklace out of them. As for your body..."
She leaned close to Chichu Chun's ear: "Once you beco my undead, I promise I'll know how to use you even better."
"Then you'd better treat well; I'm quite afraid of pain."
Chichu Chun's eyes curved like crescent moons, suddenly yelling out as if throwing a tantrum.
"Did you hear that? She's a Necromancer, and that big guy is her Undead Puppet!"
"Damn it!"
Vlad II realized sothing and turned her head, discovering several Red Glow team mbers, through unknown ans, assaulting her people. A variety of trap projectiles activated simultaneously; smoke rose, and steel balls, fragnts, and poison arrows flew everywhere. In just a few seconds, over a dozen people scread and collapsed.
"*!" Vlad II couldn't help but curse, grabbing Chichu Chun's body with force, and pinned her entire arm to the wall with several daggers, then turned fiercely with the baseball bat in hand.
"Watch closely as I smash their heads in!"
"Ouch, that hurts, I should have known better than to talk tough." Chichu Chun grimaced through the pain, reaching out to pull the daggers but almost fainted from the pain.
At that mont, sothing caught the girl's eye: a short knife within easy reach.
Su Sui, amidst the chaos, searched the swirling smoke for Chichu Chun's figure and quickly spotted the girl in the corner, nearly crying from the pain.
Her gaze sharpened as she turned back to slit the approaching opponent's throat with the 'Xue Diao' Great Tachi in her hand, nimble like a fine dagger, swiftly moving towards the girl's direction until a baseball bat blocked her path.
"She is my prey!" Vlad II licked her sharp teeth.
"Just as you are mine."
In the next mont, Vlad II's eyes glinted fiercely, swinging the baseball bat as she charged. Su Sui couldn't be bothered with idle words, blocking with her blade, her russet long hair swirling in the air.
Though a Necromancer, Su Sui noticed Vlad II's surprising Power; surely, it had shared so Attributes with that nearby frenetic brute.
"I plan on capturing you, then smashing your head in front of her. How do you think of that idea? That scene would surely be thrilling. I can't wait to see what kind of expression she'll have!"
Vlad II pressed Su Sui against the wall with the baseball bat, her body forcing close, intent on strangling the girl's neck with sheer force.
"I'd advise against such thoughts."
Su Sui spoke in a asured tone.
"Because your end will surely be grim."
Su Sui sighed lightly, shaking her head, suddenly kneeling into Vlad II's abdon, followed by a whirling kick that sent the latter crashing into the wall. The Small Tachi 'Night Thrush' followed suite, the roles reversed.
"Really, that is quite intriguing!" Vlad II broke free of the girl, her baseball bat now shrouded in deathly aura, repeatedly swinging at Su Sui, every hit gusting powerfully, leaving a spreading spiderweb of cracks on the walls with each impact.
Within a few short moves, the entire wall behind the two girls collapsed.
"How will I die!" Vlad II's eyes burned with madness. "How will the Dark Gold Rose kill ? Will I be thrown into a at grinder, cut into a thousand pieces, or shredded to bits?"
"You're a lunatic, beyond reasoning." Su Sui deflected upwards effortlessly with her wrist, causing Vlad II to lose balance and fall into her embrace, then she seized 'Xue Diao' and twisted the hilt, ramming its guard forward.
Vlad II was hit on the side of the face, flying sideways as her delicate face swelled up.
Within just a few encounters, she was certain she wasn't a match for this cool, composed girl; the other's Great and Small Tachis danced like a cluster of reeds in the wind, fluid yet unfathomable.
The Shadow Warrior's elegant finger bones rested on the long hilt, their bloodstained black-and-white Sword Dao attire resembling a killer striding out of Corpse Mountain.
"But I must remind you," Su Sui said calmly.
"In the end, it won't be our leader who kills you."
