A strong feeling of suffocation surged up, and she attempted to speak, but blood kept pouring into her throat.
After struggling for a while, Xilin's breathing gradually weakened, and she stared intensely.
Chichu Chun looked down at Xilin from above, until she was completely still.
Chichu Chun said nothing, using the Spider Gu Fang to forcefully slice open the back of the other's neck, finding no sign of 'Chang', which signified that Xilin was not a Chong Ghost but a mber of the Syndicate, whose consciousness had once directly connected with the Eight-Spider Nest Mother.
Yet, she felt no abnormalities in that space, rather, aside from the strange warmth and sense of happiness, she neither revered the Eight-Spider Nest Mother nor feared that bizarre truth, remaining rational in her thoughts.
Under normal circumstances, even Fourth Tier or Fifth Tier, powerful Cleaners in connection with the "Mysterious" domain, would have their rationality sowhat affected when facing such a being.
But she did not,
she only felt that everything seed familiar.
Chichu Chun shook her head, for her, none of this mattered anymore.

The commotion attracted nearby predators, showing no grief over Xilin's death, instead they crawled at Chichu Chun's feet, not only sensing the maternal aura but more so submitting to the oppression from a higher being on the young woman.
Chichu Chun was uncertain about her condition; she felt genuine pleasure from this submission, not because she was a higher being, but because she could freely hunt these inferior Insect Race lives.
