’Heh, it really is like having two different girlfriends, switching back and forth.’

’Every day is a new experience. I’m always looking forward to seeing which version of my girlfriend I’ll get.’

Chen Yuan was actually starting to enjoy it.

And the university didn’t disappoint. Just as morning classes ended at 11:30 a.m...

Liu Tingyue sent a ssage to the group chat, telling all mbers of the Arts Departnt to gather in the conference room for an ergency eting.

Jiangg from the Youth League Committee was calling the eting.

Chen Yuan hurried over. On the way, he ran into two other senior girls from the Arts Departnt, and they entered the conference room one after the other.

When he got there, he saw it wasn’t just mbers of the Arts Departnt. There were many unfamiliar faces, all crowded together, the room abuzz with discussion.

Of course, Chen Yuan couldn’t care less about any of that. His eyes were fixed on the doorway, waiting for Jiangg Ning to arrive. He hadn’t seen her in over a day and actually missed her quite a bit.

’Oh no. Don’t tell I’m turning into so lovesick fool,’ Chen Yuan thought.

Suddenly, he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Junior!" He turned to see Liu Tingyue’s bright face. "Haven’t seen you in two days! Junior, I feel like you’ve gotten even taller."

"Have I?"

"Of course you have! I used to co up to just above your shoulder." She stood on her tiptoes, holding her hand up to asure him. "Now I feel like I’ve gotten shorter."

"Maybe it’s my shoes. The soles are pretty thick."

"That’s not it. You probably really did get taller. You’re only eighteen, after all. Still growing—"

She was mid-sentence when the CLACK-CLACK of high heels echoed from the doorway. The conference room door swung open, and in walked Jiangg Ning, exuding a powerful aura in her trench coat.

As fate would have it, she walked in just in ti to see the two of them comparing heights, Liu Tingyue’s hand hovering right over Chen Yuan’s head.

Her gaze lingered for a few seconds before she coldly turned her face away.

A drop of cold sweat trickled down Chen Yuan’s forehead...

The noisy conference room fell silent in an instant. Everyone sat up straight, a silent, mutual understanding passing between them as they all shut their mouths.

Jiangg Ning looked gorgeous today, dressed in charcoal-gray flared jeans and a stylishly layered black trench coat. She wore lustrous pearl earrings that, combined with her makeup, gave off an overwhelmingly cool and commanding presence.

Chen Yuan stole a few extra glances, thinking smugly to himself, ’That’s my girlfriend. Hell yeah!’

"Ahem—"

Jiangg Ning leaned casually against a table. Her posture was relaxed, not at all the stiff bearing of a typical teacher. She scanned the room and began to speak in a gentle voice.

"There’s only one item on the agenda for today’s eting. In two weeks, we’ll be holding the New Year’s Gala. This will be the first major event I’ve organized since taking over as the Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee."

"This year’s New Year’s Gala is different from previous years. Early this morning, Vice Principal Zhang held a eting with us. He was slamming his fist on the table, repeatedly stressing that we must adhere to the highest standards and strictest requirents. Does anyone know why?"

In response to her question, the students just looked at each other.

It didn’t take long for soone to figure it out.

It was most likely because of the ridiculous scandal involving a foreign professor Landa University had hired a little while back. He had single-handedly destroyed the positive image the university had spent so many years carefully cultivating.

Good news stays ho, but bad news travels fast.

Especially in today’s digital age, attention on short-form video platforms shot through the roof.

Too many people had gotten a taste of the "tea."

That’s why Vice Principal Zhang had been enacting increasingly strict regulations at the university recently. The directive that prohibited students from filming and posting information about Landa University on social dia was a direct result of the foreign professor incident.

"I’m sure you all understand, so I won’t elaborate. This isn’t just a simple New Year’s Gala; it’s a crucial asure to restore our university’s image. Every year, major universities compete to get on the trending lists. Last year, the Kyoto Film Academy even went viral with their Mid-Autumn Festival Gala. We not only have to do a good job, we have to do sothing groundbreaking! Zhang Qi—"

"Understood, Jiangg!"

A tall male student stood up, holding a docunt. "The Propaganda Departnt has brought in several new technical specialists in the last few days. We’re fully prepared for this gala and will do everything we can to salvage the university’s reputation."

Jiangg Ning nodded and turned to Liu Tingyue and the rest of the Arts Departnt mbers.

"Good. Organizing the gala is normally the responsibility of the Arts Departnt, but this task is imnse. You can’t be expected to handle all this pressure alone. That’s why I’ve called in all the departnt heads from the Student Union. Whatever you need, they will fully support you. Don’t hesitate to ask for anything! I’ve already cleared it with them."

Leaning against the table with her arms crossed, Jiangg Ning looked serious. Her wavy hair fell over her shoulders, and at that mont, she looked incredibly sharp—possessing the commanding presence of a true leader.

It was as if she were glowing.

The mbers of the Arts Departnt, including Liu Tingyue, hadn’t expected this. It seed they were the only ones who hadn’t been inford.

All the other departnt heads had already been notified by Jiangg.

Her words instantly placed imnse pressure on everyone in the Arts Departnt. They could all feel the weight on their shoulders grow heavier, their gazes flickering as they remained silent.

Chen Yuan hadn’t expected the task to be so demanding, either. He had only just joined the departnt, and now he was already facing his first major challenge.

"Minister Liu, just communicate any requests directly to . We’ll all cooperate," offered Fang Tiankuo, the president of the Student Union.

"Yesterday—ACHOO!" Just as Jiangg Ning was about to continue, she suddenly sneezed. She rubbed her nose and pulled a tissue from a table behind her.
