"We're not going. Why are you dressed so frumpy?"
"Is it really that frumpy?" Jiangg Ning looked down at herself, then checked her reflection in the mirror. "I think it's fine."
"Don't be so ridiculous! You're representing both of us, you know. Can't you put in a little effort?"
Jiangg Yao was more anxious than she was. After all, Jiangg Ning was going to et Chen Yuan's friends.

"Take it off! I'll pick sothing for you!"
Jiangg Yao tossed aside the half-eaten apple, wiped her hands, and without a second word, marched over and stripped Ningning down to her underwear. She then had her sit awkwardly to the side while she rummaged through the closet.
"How about this gray-and-white plaid newsboy cap with that mid-length haute couture coat, plus black thigh-high boots? Whether you wear nude stockings is up to you."
"Fine, I'll try it."
Jiangg Ning tied up her hair, grabbed a simple white top to wear underneath, and rustled into the clothes according to Jiangg Yao's aesthetic.
「A mont later.」
Jiangg Yao clapped her hands. "It's still missing sothing! I'll go get you that treasured bag of mine."
She was gone and back in a flash.
Once Jiangg Ning had the bag on, her reflection in the mirror had indeed transford into a completely different style. She had the gentle, neighborly-big-sister vibe of a chance encounter in a winter alleyway; her whole aura seed to soften.

"To the mountain behind the school for a barbecue and a small hot pot."

It was a huge pile of food, plus snacks—more than enough for a few big guys to eat their fill.
Judging by her actions, Yaoyao was certainly living up to her ambition of one day being a "good wife and loving mother."
