But Jiangg Yao snatched it away from him.
She stared stubbornly at Chen Yuan and insisted he sit down.
"Now what?"

What he found now was almost identical to what Jiangg Yao had told him. Multiple personality disorder involves a distinction between a host personality and alternate personalities. The two coexist interdependently in the sa body, and their different behavioral patterns and personalities lead to severe amnesia.
During periodic switches, one personality is often completely unaware of what the other has done.
