With the first bite, juices locked in by the scorching oil burst onto the tongue.
The word "heavenly" didn’t even begin to cover it.
Not to ntion the pig’s trotter was soft and tender, lting in the mouth and falling right off the bone with the slightest pressure.
"Waaah... This is so delicious. I feel so happy I could cry."
"I think I’m going to cry."
"Jiangg, your cooking is unbeatable!"
They praised her from the bottom of their hearts.
Jiangg Ning smiled faintly, feeling very satisfied herself, but her attention was still on Chen Yuan.
"Why aren’t you eating?" she asked softly.

"Talk after you eat," Jiangg Yao chid in, also trying to persuade him.
A great maternal radiance seed to shine from them. The scene was so much like a gentle mother coaxing a willful child; even the hardest of hearts would have lted.
Chen Yuan sighed internally, picked up his chopsticks, and stuffed so food into his mouth.
Jiangg Ning watched him with an expectant gaze.
"Is it good?"
"It’s... alright, I guess," he said stubbornly.
To Jiangg Ning, those words were like music from the heavens. Her face instantly blossod into a radiant smile.
The charm she revealed in that instant made passing students stop and stare.
They were all college students in their pri, at an age where they could really eat. They devoured the al Jiangg Ning had made like a whirlwind, leaving not a single scrap behind. They even used the leftover sauce to make soup rice.
This made Jiangg Ning incredibly happy.
Suddenly, all her efforts felt worthwhile. Even waking up an hour earlier to buy groceries no longer felt like a hardship.
"Jiangg is truly a woman of many talents! Graceful in the hall and a master in the kitchen—a true all-rounder!"
"HIC— I’m stuffed. Thank you, Teacher Jiangg Ning, and thank you, Jiangg Yao. After a al like this, I don’t think I’ll ever want to eat the cafeteria food again."
"I’ll thank you both for your hospitality, too."
Having eaten and drunk their fill, the three of them prepared to head back to their dorm. Sticking around would just be getting in the way.

It was true; she had slept like a log until broad daylight that morning.
’What does my sister think she’s doing? Airing my dirty laundry in public like this?!’
Everyone imdiately changed their tune and started praising Jiangg Ning. It even seed like Chen Yuan’s gaze toward Ningning held a hint of admiration.
Only she was left completely outshone.
