"Don’t be so quick to deny it," Jiangg Yao coaxed. "My sister avoids talking about these things—she’s so prim and proper, you know? But I’m not. It’s okay, you can tell ."
The more Chen Yuan denied it, the more interested Jiangg Yao beca.
She grabbed Chen Yuan to stop him from feeding the cats, determined to get to the bottom of it.
"That’s not being prim and proper. So things just can’t be said casually, and besides, all this talk about fantasies is just nonsense."
"Ooh, so you won’t even say a bad word about Ningning behind her back," Jiangg Yao said, her eyes narrowing.
The urge to tease him bubbled up. After a mont of silence, she suddenly stood up.
Chen Yuan was just wondering why the ever-chattering Yaoyao had fallen silent.
From behind him, she gave two soft coughs.
Then, a gentle, magnetic, and incredibly familiar voice spoke up.
"Chen, we need to have a proper discussion about this, don’t we?"
He whipped around. The "Jiangg Ning" looking down at him ca into view. From her expression to her tone, there wasn’t a single discernible difference—not even the calm, gentle hint of a smile at the corners of her eyes.
Chen Yuan was dazed for a mont and quickly shook his head to clear it.
"Your impression is scarily accurate..."
"Impression? Chen... What are you talking about?" She blinked, feigning confusion.
"You think this is funny, don’t you? Jiangg Yao."
Chen Yuan walked over and started squishing her cheeks vigorously. He pinched them into an "O" shape, then a "V" shape. Her skin really did feel nice, just like soft, elastic dough.
"Keep this up and I’ll have to punish you," Jiangg Yao mumbled, her face contorting as he squished it.
’She’s still keeping up the act.’
"So you like to act, huh? I’ll give you sothing to pretend about... Deceiving from the start, and now you’re still playing these gas."
"Hey! Don’t spank ! Oww—you hit so hard."
The fluffy little kittens quietly kept their heads down, eating their food. They would occasionally glance up, looking with confusion at the two humans roughhousing.
Their round little heads were filled with curiosity about this world.
They probably figured this behavior from the "two-legged beasts" was the equivalent of their own friendly squabbles over milk.
After feeding the cats, their last task at the school was finished.
Chen Yuan and Jiangg Yao headed back under the cover of night, retracing their steps.
Not even the occasional student could be seen on the path now. The night air was cool as water, carrying the earthy scent of approaching rain. The leaves rustled in the night wind.
"I heard from Wan that you guys have all sorts of fantasies, especially about relationships that sound... illicit. Is that true?"
"It depends on the person. I’m not like that."
"I don’t believe you." Jiangg Yao’s face was a mask of skepticism.
"Believe it or not."
"It’s probably because my sister is a teacher. That must trigger your dark, beastly desires. The sense of transgression is what makes you unable to pull away. The colder and more aloof she is, the more you want to conquer her... to control her... to toy with her..."
"Are you ever going to stop?"
Chen Yuan listened as her words grew more and more outrageous, like she was gleefully tap-dancing on his last nerve.

"Shut up!"
Chen Yuan clutched his forehead, his head starting to ache.
A part of him was actually starting to regret exposing the twin secret. Ever since that day, when Jiangg Ning and Jiangg Yao no longer had to keep up the charade, they had both beco increasingly bold.
They spoke about both of them dating him without the slightest hint of sha.
’How are their brains wired to treat a love triangle so casually?’
’Even soone as prim and proper as Jiangg Ning doesn’t object to coming to see with Jiangg Yao. Doesn’t she find that strange at all?’
’Weren’t they rivals in love? Hadn’t one basically stolen the other’s man?’
’Why hadn’t they turned on each other and beco bitter enemies? Instead, they seed even more relaxed and at ease than when they were pretending to be one person.’
’It was completely insane.’
Chen Yuan just couldn’t get used to it.
"I’m honestly baffled. What are you and your sister thinking? How can you both be in a relationship with just ? Don’t you think that’s... pathological?"
"Not really. We’ve shared pretty much everything since we were kids..." Jiangg Yao said with a shrug. "Like right now, I’m wearing my sister’s underwear, and she accidentally put on mine."
"Well, you two are certainly close." Chen Yuan was speechless. He didn’t want to say another word.
He was an only child; he couldn’t put himself in their shoes.
Even if he had siblings, he doubted he could ever comprehend the insane logic of these twins.
In short.
Ever since he’d been "claid" by both Jiangg Yao and Jiangg Ning, his tornt was practically set in stone.
Unless, one day, he could bring himself to willingly accept both sisters and forge a relationship that seed utterly impossible in modern society—a relationship that could even be called one of a kind.
Perhaps only then would he find true peace.
However, Chen Yuan had only just started college. His worldview was still being ford, and his entire concept of romance was being completely upended. For the person he was now, that day seed incredibly distant.
And for that reason, it was only natural for him to feel tornted.
"Ah—"
As they walked, Jiangg Yao suddenly cried out in pain and stopped in her tracks.
Her incessant chattering ca to an abrupt halt.
"What’s wrong?"
"A little pebble got into my shoe. I stepped on it, and it really hurts."
"Well, shake it out, then."
"Then co over and steady ."
Jiangg Yao beckoned him over. The pained look on her face didn’t seem like an act, so Chen Yuan had no choice but to serve as a human handrail, letting her lean on him with one hand.
