The bald man launched a flying kick towards Ye Fan.

A cold, sinister smile crept onto his lips, already imagining the next scene in his mind: Ye Fan being kicked into the air by him, then falling to the ground unconscious.

However, reality was not as he imagined; he was about to realize he had hit a brick wall this ti.

Ye Fan’s figure flickered, disappearing beneath the bald man’s offensive move.

The bald man’s eyes narrowed, sensing sothing was wrong.

The next mont, Ye Fan’s silhouette spun, his foot striking towards the man’s back.

With a "bang" sound.

Ye Fan’s foot landed on the small of the bald man’s back.

"Oh my mom!" The bald man cried out miserably, his body rocketing away like a cannonball.

With a snap, the bald man’s figure plastered against the back of a car, the glass shattering in a cacophony, the car rocking from the impact.

Then, the bald man fell to the ground, lying still like a dead dog.

The car of Brother Dog and his three associates had an intimate encounter with the bald man.

The bald man felt like crying but had no tears, his face drooping.

Brother Dog’s body trembled, instinctively taking two steps back, unable to take his eyes off Ye Fan, his expression fearful.

The short-haired man was trembling in fear, his grip on Xixi loosening, nearly dropping her; if he hadn’t reacted quickly, Xixi might have hit the ground.

"This speed? This force? This reflex?" Brother Dog said with trembling legs, "Damn, where did this brat co from? How is he so formidable? Could he be a secret agent sent by Zhao Feipeng to protect Jian Tao and her daughter? The intel is wrong, the intel is wrong; this is trouble."

"Dog..., Dog Bro!" The short-haired man stuttered, his voice filled with fear, "Brother Dog, now, what do we do?"

If Brother Dog knew what to do, that would be great; his mind was in chaos. He never imagined he’d face such a troubleso issue. With his minor prestige, how could he know the fa of Terminator?

If he knew, he would have been scared to death long ago; how could he dare to be so arrogant as to look for trouble?

"Brothers, let’s not interfere with each other’s business, and go our separate ways. I hope you don’t intervene in our dealings." Brother Dog clasped his hands politely, "Just pretend you didn’t see us, and we will reward you handsoly. We are not to be trifled with, and let’s avoid any conflict."

Brother Dog thought it over repeatedly and could only say this, hoping Ye Fan would be cautious and let them go.

"Put down the child and get lost." Ye Fan said calmly, walking towards Brother Dog.

Brother Dog didn’t dare fight Ye Fan; the bald man was an example, and rashly taking action would only bring one’s own doom.

Seeing Ye Fan approach, beads of sweat appeared on Brother Dog’s forehead; he staggered backward, scared that Ye Fan might make a move.

"Don’t... don’t move, the child is in my hands. If you act rashly, be careful; I’ll harm the child, and if I do, it’s your fault, your responsibility." The short-haired man threatened, trembling.

"Idiot, what kind of reasoning is that?" Brother Dog didn’t appreciate the short-haired man’s words, a mix of anger and annoyance in his heart.

"Put the child down and get lost; I don’t want to say it a third ti." Ye Fan said coldly.

Brother Dog and the short-haired man felt anxious. It now seems impossible to kidnap Xixi. Not to ntion escape from Ye Fan’s grasp, even if they fought hard, it would be seeking punishnt. Threatening Ye Fan with a child was sothing they dared not do. Furthermore, they wouldn’t dare to do such a thing. Given Ye Fan’s deanor, they couldn’t guarantee their safety, even with a child as leverage.

"Brother Dog, what do we do?" The short-haired man asked anxiously, almost to the point of panic.

"It seems kidnapping Xixi isn’t possible. Keeping the green mountain ans not worrying about firewood; we can only target the next opportunity. With this attempt, we’ve learned more about the circumstances around the target. Next ti, we’re sure to succeed." Brother Dog thought this, planning the kidnapping for a second attempt, resigned to admitting defeat this ti.

"Mountains do not change, waters forever flow, we shall see." Brother Dog muttered, fixing his gaze on the short-haired man, "Put down the child; we’re leaving!"

"Brother Dog, you should’ve decided this earlier. Kidnapping this kind of little tyrant isn’t sothing for humans to do." The short-haired man quickly set Zhao Ruixi down, turned, and ran, wanting nothing more to do with the troubleso Zhao Ruixi.

Brother Dog and the short-haired man dragged the bald man away from the ground.

"Uncle, uncle..." Xixi cried, running towards Ye Fan.

Ye Fan bent down to pick her up, comforting her, "Xixi, don’t be afraid. Uncle scared the bad guys away. Xixi is safe now."

Xixi lay in Ye Fan’s arms, crying nonstop.

Soon, Jian Tao ca running frantically, barefoot, her feet already stained red with blood.

She had been in the villa contemplating, thinking about approaching Ye Fan and ngyao more closely, and then finding ways to investigate Zhao Hai’s issues. Brother Dog and his associates’ swift action didn’t cause much commotion, thanks to their quick strike; she hadn’t heard anything, but Xixi’s cries reached her. Panicked, she rushed to the window for a glance and went into chaos, hurriedly running outside without regard for shoes, having lost track of her slippers.

In the courtyard, Wu Ma and two bodyguards lay on the ground, life or death uncertain, which twisted her heart in knots.

Jian Tao chased outside, long past feeling the pain, her feet injured by stones and protrusions, blood flowing endlessly.

She couldn’t care less, her eyes only saw her daughter.

As she neared Ye Fan, she saw Xixi sobbing continuously in Ye Fan’s arms; she couldn’t see any sign of the thugs from before.

She didn’t know where the thugs went.

Jian Tao grabbed Xixi from Ye Fan’s embrace, fearing that Ye Fan might be the villain behind the scenes, staging this drama to play the hero and earn her gratitude.

She harbored no good image of Ye Fan and ngyao in her heart, suspicious of their every action.

Ye Fan could see many emotions from the aloof gaze in Jian Tao’s eyes.

Jian Tao, holding her daughter, left without saying a word to Ye Fan, only casting a cold and distant look.

In the distance, ngyao, Qiu Wen, Du Xueqi, and the other five won approached, observing this scene.

"Master, why did you let those three thugs go? If we caught them and asked so questions, we’d know everything, right?" Qiu Wen said irritably. "This is great; we clearly did a good deed, and that woman’s expression is as if we set the kidnapping up and then saved her to gain thanks. So infuriating."

Jian Tao’s attitude was quite clear, and Qiu Wen naturally understood it.

According to Qiu Wen, catching the three thugs and handing them over would make even a foolish Jian Tao think things through.

"Letting the line out lets us catch a bigger fish; the three small fry aren’t of use. Drawing the mastermind out is the way to solve the problem." ngyao said with a cheerful tone.

"Oh, I get it now!" Qiu Wen suddenly realized.
