Ye Fan and Qiu Wen walked out of the bedroom, instantly shocking Zhao Zhongtian and Hei Pi.
This bedroom was where Zhao’s mother was held. Seeing the bedroom door open, and because Zhao Zhongtian and Hei Pi were facing the door, they imdiately spotted Ye Fan and Qiu Wen.

"Mr. Ye, you’ve arrived. Sorry for keeping you waiting, and thank you for letting vent my anger." Zhao Feipeng stood up and exchanged polite greetings, then stood together with Ye Fan and Qiu Wen.

Hei Pi looked dejected and listless. He had always been cautious, never realizing it was all a joke.
It turned out all those careful considerations beca laughable jokes once Ye Fan got involved.
Hei Pi looked at Ye Fan, his face hanging down, and said, "Brother Dog and the other two failed to kidnap Xixi, and even their hideout wasn’t a secret to you. But you didn’t go after them; you watched them until they attempted to kidnap Zhao Feipeng again. Everything was within your plan, waiting for Zhao Feipeng to record our cri against Zhao Hai before revealing yourself."
"Every bit of this was planned by you. I was curious how Brother Dog and the others exposed their whereabouts, but seeing Sister Dao here, everything was clear. Even if the police couldn’t find Brother Dog’s hiding place, hiding alone can’t escape the watch of Ye Gang."
Hei Pi’s face really looked grim to the extre. He prided himself on unparalleled scheming, but once Ye Fan got involved, all strategies were invalid. He never thought Ye Fan would step in, nor did he expect he had been exposed to Ye Fan all along.
"Now that I understand, it’s too late. Understanding isn’t as good as being oblivious." Ye Fan said calmly.
"True, if you’re oblivious, you won’t recognize your incompetence. But understanding it ans the shadow of incompetence lingers on your mind, and that’s what’s most deadly." Hei Pi chuckled bitterly.
"I don’t understand why a big figure like you would bother with these trivial matters. This is a family feud of the Zhao Family. Even if it turns bloody, it’s unrelated to you. Why did you help Zhao Feipeng with all your might to go against ? I believe there’s no grudge between us. Why push to a dead end when I’m at my peak?" Zhao Zhongtian asked indignantly.
"Soone has to stand up against injustice. You’re too despicable, without any bottom line. I don’t like people like you." Ye Fan didn’t explain much. His main reason was also to help himself dissolve Zhao Hai’s lingering obsession, which was very important to him.
So, helping Zhao Feipeng was a matter of reason.
Since forming this positive bond with Zhao Hai, Ye Fan was destined to stand against Zhao Zhongtian.
