_2 An indescribable black energy suddenly erged from the rift in the sky like smoke, forming bizarre entities in the physical world.
Among them, one could faintly see flickering specks of starlight.
It was like a dark nebula erging in the dayti.
Murphy didn’t know what it was, but the Cardman City in front of him was enveloped in this black substance from the sky, like physical objects being torn apart in a dark storm.
The vampire stretched his vision to the maximum.
He could even see the Salockdale statue at the top of the city’s highest blood vulture spire being disassembled into gravel that dances in the storm of purple lights, ignoring gravity.
But all this was just the beginning.
Just half a minute after the sky ruptured, a teor wrapped in black flas roared down from the sky.
It smashed rcilessly into the center of Cardman City amidst the shocked screams of a group of novice players.
Imdiately after, one after another, dinsional teors continued to fall, causing the dark nebula pouring down from the sky to burst into towering flas.
In just a few minutes, the dieval-style fortress that stood before the players was wiped out by a third as if by a naughty child’s hand.
Black fissures ford in the trembling earth and slashed brutally across the city, swallowing the collapsed buildings underground, as if they were being drawn into this apocalyptic scene where the gates of Hell had opened.
The muffled sound of the teor’s impact brought terrifying tremors, as did the gusty wind brought about by the collision and annihilation of vast amounts of Spiritual Energy, causing the horses pulling carts to panic incredibly.
Murphy could see many panicked vampires rushing out of the city with their wings flapping, but they soon got entangled in those dark smoky energy materials, like the small bugs that rushed into a spider’s web.
Before they could struggle a few tis, they were completely devoured by the power from the Star Realm.
“Cui Si…”
Murphy whispered softly, then clenched his fists, stood up and rushed towards his horse, only to be stopped by Maxim.
The loyal servant could not bear to watch Murphy rush towards the disaster that could not be stopped by human power.
However, Murphy maneuvered away from him with a strange and dashing step, and jumped onto the horse’s back.
The Swift Sword in his hand unsheathed and cut off the harness.
With a hard slap on the old horse’s neck, it galloped forward with a neigh.
Murphy knew he had to get back before the situation got worse!
He must enter that city, no matter what sort of chaos was happening there.
Because Cui Si was still there!
The wasteful demonic beast mother who had saved him over a month ago, and had been with him in the Different World when he was most vulnerable, was still in the city…
He could convince himself that he was taking care of Cui Si, but the fact was that Cui Si was protecting him through the most helpless ti when he first arrived in the Another World.
“Don’t die!”
Murphy yelled fiercely in his heart:
“I don’t allow you to die!
I’m back, I’ll be by your side soon!
Hold on!”
“Dog Planner is stirring the pot again!”
At this point, the newbie players who had just witnessed the “cinematic event” were shocked.
Among the crowd, Good Pigeon exclaid with her fingertip in her mouth:
“We’ve just arrived and haven’t even entered the city yet when this happens.
It’s definitely a prelude to an opening CG!
A whole city was just wiped out?
So thrilling.”
“This visual quality is utterly stunning.
It feels like a real-ti computed CG scene, every fra is money burning.”
“Hee Hee, I recorded it.
I’ll post it on the forum later, so those five unlucky guys can drool over it.”
“But what are we going to do now that the main city is gone?”
The players babbled amongst themselves, and then sharp-eyed Cheche suddenly shouted:
“Look!
An NPC!
Sir Morphy is riding a horse over there!”
They turned around to see Murphy riding the old horse rushing towards the Cardman City which was being ravaged by the disaster right before their eyes.
He was then swallowed by the black storm rushing in from the front, carrying the energy of the Star Realm, disappearing like in a sky full of flying sand.
“A quest!
It must be a quest trigger!
Maybe even a main storyline quest!”
Happy Stick shouted, saying:
“Let’s go!
Whoever knows how to drive, get on quickly!
Damn, we’ll need to learn how to ride a horse after this.”

At this ti, in the chaotic Cardman City that resembled the end of the world, Cui Si’s dilapidated manor house had collapsed due to the ground splitting.
Cui Si, wearing a red coat with her hair disheveled, held a light blade in her hand, concentrated with Spiritual Energy.
She leaned against the wall and struggled to move her feet while clutching her abdon.
Behind Cui Si were two strange-looking beasts, whose bodies began to decompose into black-grey Star Realm energy upon death.
The filthy scent in the manor filled with dust and shaken by the earthquake grew stronger.
These real creatures from Another World were thrown into the physical world when the Star Realm rift opened.
As the entire Cardman City was being crushed and drawn towards the Star Realm, these ferocious creatures were feasting in the chaos.
Unfortunately, these two chose the wrong opponent.
Despite being a waste now, Cui Si was once an elder.
Dealing with two brainless beasts was naturally effortless for her, but her previous injuries recurred due to the uncontrollable surge of Spiritual Energy.
With each step she took, her whole body trembled.
“Thud”
Cui Si collapsed in front of the kitchen.
She leaned against the dusty wall panting, looking at the city outside the collapsed walls of the main house, now shrouded in black smoke and flas.
“The little bastard promised to be back in seven days.
I’ve been cracking open a bottle of wine every day to amuse myself, and it’s already the eighth day but there’s no sign of him…
I’m about to die!”
