“Wow, customs from another world are really interesting!
I love those drinking gas where you can openly drink, and I finally figured out why those little apprentices can pinch dharma seals so well.
It turns out they developed nimble fingers from playing finger-guessing gas since childhood!
No wonder they’re not troubled by complex secret techniques that could twist their fingers.”
At midnight, Murphy had a wooden expression on his face as he supported the thoroughly drunk Lady Cui Si back to the Blood Eagle Corridor, with the Blood Vulture Duke being supported by his waist, devoid of any dignity befitting a mighty one, his cheeks flushed and still marveling at how comfortably he had eaten at the Another World banquet.
Of course, she hadn’t actually eaten much.
After all, the spicy flavor of the Otherworldly cuisine was still a bit too “wild” for the traditional vampire palate.
Even the usually brave Maxim had succumbed to a plate of spicy rabbit heads, let alone Cui Si, who had lighter tastes.
When Murphy cooked for her previously, she would cry out from just a little bit of hot oil in a bowl of atball soup.
Cui Si’s joy did not co from tasting the Otherworldly dishes.
Her happiness was simple.
It started when the students ca over to offer a toast during the al, intended as a gesture of respect for Sir Murphy and Lady Cui Si.
Once she understood the dining etiquette of the other world, Cui Si imdiately perked up, and in just two hours, she displayed the superhuman drinking prowess of a vampire drinker.
The students were all drunk under the table, and even the mbers of the Big Bird Spinning Team logged off in a daze.
The fact that Cui Si could still stand was indicative of her extraordinary talent in this area.
It is only because of the unique physiological structure of vampires that she doesn’t need to visit the bathroom that often, otherwise Cui Si’s stomach would have exploded.
Murphy hadn’t expected Cui Si to be so happy tonight; he didn’t stop his “girlfriend” from enjoying her simple pleasures.
Except that having to carry her back to the office was a bit of an annoyance at the end.
“Don’t drink so much next ti, how embarrassing for you.”
The Governor sighed, hugging the now-dozing Cui Si as he pushed open the door to her office, only to see a set of Alchemist tools still operating on the ssy desk.
The Spiritual Energy fire burned silently under the preset conditions, and the liquid in the beaker had beco thick and was emitting a strange sll.
Murphy knew nothing about Alchemy.
But he guessed that Cui Si was probably in the midst of so crystallization process; he didn’t ss with the tools and decided to take Cui Si back to his place for a proper rest.
However, before leaving, Murphy’s keen eyes caught sight of a card on Cui Si’s desk, the imprints on it made his eyes widen.
“The periodic table…
Is this the Otherworldly Knowledge Lumina brought back for you last ti?
That young lady has quite the nerve, teaching anything and everything.
The laboratory-style crystallization thod is also taught by her, right?”
Murphy scoffed, carefully closed the door, took Cui Si to his own office, placed her on his bed, helped her out of her outer clothes and covered her with a blanket.
Finally, he bent down and kissed her forehead.
In fact, under such circumstances, if Murphy had been a little worse, Cui Si’s innocence would probably have been lost.
Yet the Governor demonstrated considerable restraint.
After all, there wasn’t a need to rush things if it wasn’t just about lust.
He sat back down in his chair, intending to browse through forum posts.
This had beco a nightly ritual for Murphy before going to sleep, a stubborn habit.
Without scrolling through a few posts, his sleep just wasn’t as sweet.
But as he opened the forum, he saw a private ssage from Wrist Master.
Wrist Master: “Hello, administrator, I’m a player who just entered the ga today, and I have an unfortunate request concerning a friend of mine.
He’s run into quite a troubleso situation in the real world, and I hope to use your company’s technology to help him get through his current predicant.
If possible, I will provide your company with details about his condition.”
Murphy blinked his eyes.
The situation described by Teacher Li made him instantly think of Little Wei Ming, a very special player, so he replied without hesitation:
Alpha: “I need to know more specific information before I can submit a request to the developnt team.
Furthermore, please understand that the current ga testing logic for ‘Real Different World’ is based on testers making fully autonomous decisions to participate in the progression of the story, aning that we will not force the ga terminal on anyone.
This is very important!
Even if my report is approved, your friend will need to fill out the test application personally.”
Wrist Master: “Of course, I’m on my way to his house right now, Mr.
Administrator.”
Alpha: “Just call Brother Fa like they do, no need to be so formal.
But has your friend’s situation deteriorated to the point where a ga terminal from us is needed to restore normal life?”
Wrist Master: “Uh, it’s not that bad, much better than Little Wei Ming’s situation, but my friend’s biggest problem isn’t his body—it’s his psyche.
“Before the car accident we had together, he was a lawyer with a bright future.
But after this life-changing event, he not only lost his livelihood but also his job, and though the compensation from the other party ensures he has no worries about food and clothing, you know that for soone with aspirations, having your dreams destroyed is more painful than physical tornt.”
