Kudell watched his joyous granddaughter, a barely visible smile creeping onto his lips.
The sight of Biqi always reminded him of the ti he left his family to head to the Black Disaster Battlefield, presenting a set of armor to his young son.
His son had been as exuberant as Biqi was now.
He had thought his son would beco a fine knight; who could have expected him to turn into a savvy businessman instead?
