The abomination was as large as a millstone, its rapid attack in the shadows was quite terrifying, but its threat probably lay in its grotesque countenance, which disintegrated into dark smoke on the spot when it was shot through.
Before Milian could even feel relieved, the cloud of smoke quickly rged with the surrounding darkness, turning into a grim-looking four-legged snake slithering towards her.

Bull Bull, who had just shot dead a phantom dog with a shotgun, roared, and picked up the vampire badge shield next to him, smacked the charging snake flying, and Cheche, who was next to him, pounced on it with two swift swords, cutting the creature into several sections.

The red-haired girl murmured to Bull Bull, but she doubted he understood.
The tall, muscular man was soon eager to thrust his lance into more mischief from the Star Realm creatures.
For a mont, Milian found it hard to understand these warriors of Sir Morphy.
The defense cleanup of the past few minutes has proven that these monsters cannot be killed.
They don’t have any physical form, they are like projections of chaotic forces on the material plane.
Normally, everyone would know to retreat and conserve strength in such a situation, but these guys were happy to guard the periter and fight every monster they could see.
There were even the reckless ones who forwent firearms and went into close combat with these dangerous beings with cold weapons.
It usually takes several people to take down a wave of monsters, and they get nothing in return, but their faces are filled with excitent as if they have found a treasure.
Milian wondered whether these so-called warriors from Another World were all born battle addicts.
Of course, this was not the case.
Little players aren’t too enthusiastic about battles without rewards, but if they can endure endless carnage in one spot without any loot drops, it ans they must be getting sothing out of it.

Just monts before, his player interface inford him that his only handheld combat skill had leveled up.
But before his laugh reached its third syllable, another pop-up notification had Cheche’s eyes wide open.

Excitedly, he shouted to Coo Coo Chicken and Bull Bull:
“My interface tells that because I’ve mastered a skill, I have beco a professional and can change my job role to ‘Swordsman’.
How about you guys?
Did you receive any notifications?”
“I’m only at level 2, just a bit more.”
Coo Coo Chicken glanced at his player interface, his strength mastery experience bar showing 70% progress at level 2.
Carrying his half-length sword, he said to Cheche:
“I think around ten more minutes of slashing should get there.”
“Stop slashing randomly!
This isn’t like those other gas where killing monsters gives you experience, there are no experience points for killing monsters here.
It’s been said that the experience bar represents the mastery of skills and control of power.”
Cheche, being a “pioneer”, imdiately started showing off, instructing Coo Coo Chicken:
“You need to kill monsters using the sword moves white-haired NPC taught you, get it?
After slashing enough tis, proficiency will naturally increase.”
“Hey!
I have one too!”
Just as those words left his mouth, Bull Bull, who had just stabbed a giant spider to death with his sword and shield, also got a notification.

By this ti, the little players had basically completed the defensive task given by Sir Morphy.
Although the slain monsters would combust into black smoke and then re-form into other shapes, with enough killing, these weird beings would eventually be subdued.
The dark shadows near the city wall breach were significantly lighter than other places.
This was the result of the little players’ “crazy slaughter” in the past thirty minutes.
