The new Knightess of the Rushing River Knights Group – [Monthly Ticket additional release 4/10] The collective farms under the control of the small players began to specialize and develop simultaneously, while the Transia First National Armory, which had been completed a week ago on the Andma Hills in Transylvania, had already experienced a three-day delay in beginning its formal production.

Loyal Brother, the factory manager, had been extrely anxious these past few days.

However, with his current level of engineering knowledge, he was utterly incapable of completing the upgrade and transformation of the old production line by himself—even with the help of “Transia’s Number One Engineer,” Count Shuren, the progress was frustratingly slow.

Despite having drawn up a rudintary transformation plan using blueprints “found in the office wastebasket” and securing Little Sheron’s approval, the ntor-ntee pair had both underestimated the difficulty of transforming a production line.

Even a production line from the Steam Era is a complex structure, involving several large machines operating in parallel.

What’s more, Loyal Brother currently found himself facing a fantastical steampunk contraption.

As a beginner, he was barely able to grasp the working principles of the machine, frankly speaking.

It had taken Little Sheron nearly a week just to forge the parts and templates intended to replace the originals.

“Now that it’s made, I guess it could barely work if installed, but since these aren’t the original factory parts, they’ll certainly wear out quickly and have so tolerances,” she said.

Inside the armory, dressed in a technician’s uniform, Little Sheron pushed the wind goggles up her forehead and watched the skilled workers of the Cape Family, together with so apprentices recruited locally, replace the components that she and her disciple Loyal Brother had cast into the original production machines.

She said with concern,

“We’ve overestimated our own capabilities and underestimated the difficulties we’re facing.

This isn’t sothing we can resolve with bare hands; we must seek help from professionals.”

“Ah?”

Next to her, Loyal Brother, moving his chanical hand, dressed in a “Capitalist Suit” and with greasy smudges on his face, furrowed his brows in response to his little tutor’s statent:

“But you’re already the most skilled professional in Transylvania for this field.

We don’t have a more skilled engineer nearby.

Are you suggesting we search for the Half-body people in the Ligurian Peninsula?”

“It’s one option.

Next month isn’t the Batasin Business Association planning a shopping trip there?

We can order so tools and molds directly from the factories of the Half-body people; they offer such services,”

said Little Sheron, flapping her wings to hover in the air and oversee the entire assembly process.

She continued to Loyal Brother,

“The production line before you was specially ordered by my father through my mother’s connections in the factories of the Half-body people.

Transylvania lacks the capability to build production lines on its own.

My mother’s connections in the Ligurian Peninsula should still be in place, and the Half-body people live long lives and do not wish to be involved in the Continent’s conflicts.

The peace there has been maintained for hundreds of years, allowing the Half-body people the stability to focus on their research and improvents.”

“But in reality, there’s no ti, Tutor,”

Loyal Brother imdiately shook his head,

“We’ve only got a little more than three months until the Black Disaster strikes.

Even if the Half-body people work overti to produce the production line for us, by the ti it’s shipped here, we won’t have enough ti to start production.

Sir Morphy wouldn’t be satisfied with such a solution.

We must think of another way.”

“Then let’s go to the Dark Mountain Range!”

Little Sheron narrowed her eyes, her tone resolute,

“Let’s find that mad master of engineering, Sulk Flywheel!

His abode in Hunger Mountain isn’t too far from the Wasteland Mountain defenses on the edge of the Dark Mountain Range.

If our Warriors and Soldiers can break through the blockade of the Polluted Swamp, just one or two days of hard riding should bring us to the residence of Sulk Flywheel.

If that war-mongering mad engineer was willing to sell 3,000 Calculating Pearls to the Dwarf Marshal, it proves he has a systematic set of manufacturing tools.

If we can strike a deal with him, we’ll get everything we need much faster.

The Half-body people do not engage in war, which ans military orders would require the approval of the Steam Lord Council.

As with any council decision, the process would not be expeditious.

Perhaps seeking the more ‘flexible’ Sulk Flywheel for cooperation is the best approach.”

“We could tackle this on two fronts!”

After pondering for a mont, Loyal Brother replied,

“Walking on two legs is steadier.

We can ask the Steam Lords to support Transylvania in the na of combating the Black Disaster, while also sending soone to find Sulk Flywheel.

I suspect that Sir Morphy might also be running low on the Calculating Pearls and needs to replenish this strategic resource.”

“Alright, I’ll write the report then,”

Count Shuren nodded.

Being decisive by nature, she continued in the air to Loyal Brother,

“Just sign your na at the end of the report.

Keep an eye on things here for now.

Once they finish installing it, don’t connect it to the steam engine to start production imdiately.

I still need to conduct a final inspection of the entire production line to confirm everything is correct.

This is the only production line we have.

If we ss this up, we’re done for.”

“Understood, Tutor.

I’ll keep an eye on them,”

Loyal Brother crisply responded, watching Little Sheron leave before returning his gaze to the production line undergoing major repairs.

His eyes swept over the strangely shaped, intricately constructed gears, and levers, which bore no resemblance to the fully-automatic military manufacturing lines in his mory—and it wasn’t off by just a little.
