Before she could even ask, Triss threw a research manual to her, motioning her to take a look.
Lumina opened the manual, which didn’t trigger any quests, but she quickly noticed the complex phrases translated by the Calculating Pearl.
The keywords “Elf,” “Race Transformation,” and “Appearance and Talent Alteration” imdiately caught her eyes, and she stared in astonishnt.
A wave of exhilaration surged through her.
“Race transformation is finally in developnt!”
The Bard Elf scread internally:
“Ahhhh, my perseverance has paid off!
I was right not to switch to being a Vampire under pressure!
I knew it, the developnt team would never let such a vast amount of ga resources go unutilized.
Ah, you developers are like gods to !”

Murphy didn’t need to read Lumina’s mind; her excited expression was enough to tell him she was hooked.
He reassured her:
“This experint on the transformation of Psychic Projection forms is just beginning, and the attempts by myself and Triss in this area are still quite clumsy.
I must remind you that this experint is risky.
On this right now, you can choose between Moon Elf and Shadow Elves, but neither has a high success rate, to be honest.
Perhaps you should be more cautious before making your decision.”
“I choose Moon Elf!”
Lumina imdiately raised her hand and shouted:
“No need to be more cautious!
The worst outco is just death, but I will be back in Transylvania after three days!
Sir Morphy, you know how much I love everything I pursue.
Although I was not born as an elf in Transylvania, I still hope to complete my legendary adventure on this continent as an elf.
I am willing to take these risks, and I’m ready to be the guinea pig to help Lady Triss with this Psychic experint!

Watching her excitent, Morphy exchanged a glance with Triss, and the Vampire Lord shrugged before pointing to a stone platform decorated with complex Spiritual Energy formulas, saying:
“Lie down, and no matter what happens, don’t panic.
In the worst case, Triss will restore you to your original state.”
“Ow ow, so it’s a reformat entry, got it.”
Lumina hopped onto it nimbly and lay down, her eyes darting around.
She watched Lady Triss preparing so Alchemical Solution, and then saw Sir Morphy raise his hand towards her neck.
“Don’t worry, this isn’t your first embrace; I won’t turn you into a vampire against your will, my warrior.”
Morphy whispered:
“I guess, after you awaken, you’ll restart your life in Transylvania in the form you desire.”
Cold fingers touched Lumina’s neck.
As sharp fingernails penetrated her skin, the sensation was much like a needle piercing into flesh.
Lumina’s consciousness soon beca drowsy, yet she managed to maintain a sliver of lucidity.
In that hazy perception, she heard Sir Morphy say gently:
“I just saw exhaustion in your eyes, and I guess you’ve recently faced unrest in your world.
I don’t know how else to comfort you, but I hope you like this gift.
May it cheer you up.
And happy upcoming birthday, my friend Lumina.”

Hearing Sir Morphy’s gentle voice, the muddled Lumina felt sowhat overwheld.
This was the first birthday wish she had received in the exhausting past few days, as if, in an instant when she felt forgotten by the world, a blessing from a distant friend had reached her.
If she were not nearly unconscious under the effect of the Psychic energies, she would have surely embraced the handso Sir Morphy and wept deeply.
She wasn’t foolish.
She knew other factors must be influencing her seemingly tily return ho, given even “Lady Shui’s” private plane couldn’t have taken off at this ti, yet she was fantastically brought back, and the other international students on that plane should probably be thankful to her.
She was aware of this; she just tried hard not to think about it.
But in that mont, Lumina felt the urge.
Regardless of what secrets Sir Morphy and Transylvania stood for in the background, she no longer wished to delve into them, and Lumina might finally understand Little Wei Ming’s unique affection for Sir Morphy and Transylvania.
The person in front of her is not an NPC.
His domain is not a facade woven from cold data.
He is her friend.
She simply loves this place…
