Swamp Brothers United – Additional Update for “Blue Eyes” Brothers [14/25]_2 Good Pigeon and Cheche happened to be two of those “outstanding” individuals, and besides their particular talents leaning more toward those of spellcasters, this also proved that the two college students had not yet lost their peak learning abilities, diligence, and scholarly cultivation from their lifeti.
“You head to outpost number two.”
Good Pigeon began to prepare a concealnt spell for himself and, in the midst of spellcasting, whispered to Cheche:
“Just like on my side, stay hidden and maintain surveillance.
Based on our previous experience fighting the Skeleton Army in the Smugglers’ Forest, even though the Jackal Warlocks have strategically withdrawn, there’s definitely soone lurking nearby who controls the Skeleton Army.
I’m guessing it’s probably a ‘Necromancer’ or a ‘Netherworld Knight’, and their numbers shouldn’t be too many.
Now that we have the Goldenrod People helping us draw attention by manning the outposts, we can slip into the darkness and move freely.
Tonight’s operation objective is to wipe out all those carelessly exposed ‘Necromancers’.
If that’s not possible, then at least drive them towards Pestilence Town.
Not only do we need to capture these outposts, but we must also hold them!
If Pestilence Town can be successfully taken by us, then these outposts located on the essential route can beco a safe passage extending outward from our stronghold.”
“Mm-hmm, okay, I’ll head there now.”
Without any complaints, Cheche adjusted his direction and, before leaving, flattered Good Pigeon:
“You’ve finally got so authority as a dorm head.
Look at you, Gebao, now you seem like a badass and wise Psychic user, geez, even getting into military tactics.”
“Mutual admiration, my dear Cheche.”
Gebao, also generously engaging in mutual flattery, said:
“As a Psychic already acknowledged by the young miss, there’s much I need to learn from you in terms of quick casting and the use of energy tracks.
Once the young miss’s ‘Red Devil Hall’ officially opens for business, we’ll need to help each other out.”
“Can you guys show so sha?”
In the midst of their mutual flattery, Akuen’s resigned voice ca through the communication channel, complaining:
“Can you guys refrain from blowing smoke up each other’s asses while the team chat is on?
Everyone is listening, damn it, and the jocks are laughing so hard they’re getting cramps.
Don’t embarrass our dorm, okay?
Keep this up, and after this is over, believe , we’ll face you off on the sports field for a brutal ‘Aruba’!
Get to work!
The Demon Eight Elites and the elders of the Shadow Trace Sect are over at the Blood Claw Beast Cave getting acquainted with using the command staff, and they’ll probably be here to support us tomorrow.
Finish off these ‘Necromancers’ before their arrival!
Let’s show the strength of our Wild Beast Group!”
Akuen’s scolding sent Gebao and Cheche scurrying off to their tasks.
Alright.
As the person among the students with the best “big picture” vision and attention to detail, Akuen was truly the Dog-headed Military Advisor of the Wild Beast Group.
The chase they were engaged in tonight was planned and directed by him.
Co to think of it, the young gars had quite a lot of experience dealing with undead creatures.
After entering the ga, they faced threats from Ghouls and resentful spirits, even clearing the city’s sewers twice, and after encountering the Skeleton Army in the Smugglers’ Forest, they kept studying their combat tactics.
Fortunately, the “Undead Sea” of this Continent wasn’t much different from the undead systems of other worlds.
Numbers are always an advantage that can’t be ignored.
Morale locking and fearlessness were points of focus, but being generally brainless and reliant on a central command were also the biggest weaknesses of the Skeleton Army and the Undead Sea.
The undead’s difficulty in thinking ant that once they assembled into an army, the biggest issue was whether they had a competent central leadership.
This typical “hive-mind” structure quickly allowed the players to deduce the best approach to combat them: don’t waste ti in a war of attrition, but instead use a decisive decapitation strategy, the true bane of the undead.
Based on these experiences, the students’ tactical arrangent for tonight’s battle was very apt, and this pleased Lord Morphy, who was observing the marsh battlefield through Reveno’s eyes.
He had just finished his necessary evil fencing for the day and was preparing to take advantage of the coming night to get so rest.
Before sleeping, Lord Morphy paid special attention to the students who had already begun fighting in the marshes.
These guys were the very special “Descendants of Morphy” in the ga, the first batch of students had a special status within the Blood Vulture Clan; they didn’t belong to one of the three factions but were directly under Morphy.
Though not Morphy’s warriors, when it ca to the players Lord Morphy trusted the most, Akuen and his crew definitely ranked high on the list.
“These guys, although they’ve been active in Hog’s territory lately and haven’t co to Crimson Castle to pay their respects, not hearing their charming banter makes quite lonely.
But their pace of progress truly cannot be underestimated.
Indeed!
Even with all players possessing 1.5 tis the learning capability, these youngsters in the pri of their lives still have the fastest pace of learning and improvent.
They are already qualified Vampire Warriors.”
Morphy, reclining in his chair with an approving gaze, watched his faction mbers form an inconspicuous hunting formation beneath the night sky of the marsh, dividing into three groups centered around the three outposts, lying in wait to face this boisterous night and execute an excellent kill.
