The incubation chamber indicated a need for closure and entry into a special environnt, causing Murphy and Lady Cui Si to leave the place.
The two walked hand in hand through the employee hall being cleaned, chatting and laughing cheerfully.
Murphy glanced at the indescribable “Family Planning and Entertainnt Item Vending Machine” in the corner, then looked at the puzzled face of Lady Cui Si.
He felt a sudden impulse but then shook his head to calm himself down.
Hey, with the Black Disaster looming, let’s put the matters of love on hold for now.
He took Triss back to the monitoring room and checked on Ecological Zones B, C, and D.
Aside from Oru, the other six Swamp Giant Snakes were all slumbering in their nests.
Their size was comparable to Oru’s, indicating they were born in the sa batch.
However, their temperants were clearly not as volatile as big brother Oru’s.
These six giant snakes obediently underwent the sleep protocol when the ecological zone was sealed.
Beside each of the six snakes lay a varying number of giant eggs.
Murphy counted five of them.
“After all these eggs are hatched, we’ll probably reach the carrying capacity of this swamp ecological zone.”
Lady Cui Si, with the poise expected of a well-travelled Scholar across the Continent, said with certainty:
“Unless you open up the entire Polluted Swamp for their habitation, this ecosystem won’t be able to support any more Legendary Serpents.
However, if the entire Polluted Swamp is opened, it implies that the swamp will beco a ‘forbidden zone of life’.
Considering the territorial instincts displayed by the giant snakes, no other life form would dare enter.
But this might be good news.
It ans the Polluted Swamp will be permanently sealed.
With the seven Legendary Serpents and the Creator’s defensive powers in the forbidden land, even the Wolf People…
Murphy, we might have already secured an invincible position.”
“Yeah, it’s nice not having to consider the feeling of failure.
Now we just need to figure out how to achieve a complete victory?
However, letting the giant beasts join the war isn’t sothing a curator should do.
I suspect that with the intelligence level of this base, if I do that, I’m likely to be stripped of my curator status and permanently expelled for ‘dereliction of duty.’

The snake babies and their parents can spend a long ti in the swamp ecological zone before considering leaving.
For mortals, this ans centuries will pass.
We have plenty of ti to wait for them to grow and beco a symbol of Transylvania.
I’m now grateful to be a vampire, no longer needing to consider the passage of ti.
I can hatch them and watch them grow.
Triss, do you rember when you said that as an immortal vampire one needs to find so pillars of support for the soul?”
Murphy leaned on the control panel, frad by the backdrop of the Creator’s Legacy, he opened his arms with a big smile and said:
“Look, I think I’ve found it – a mission from the Creator.
What awaits us in the future is not just a swamp ecological zone, but many more ancient mysteries and gifts from the Creator to be sorted through.
I feel like I’ve found sothing that will keep busy for a long ti, in addition to chasing you and winning the love of the Crimson Witch, I’ve found another purpose to while away the hours.”

Triss crossed her arms, sizing up Murphy from head to toe before snorting disdainfully:
“Nowadays any Tom, Dick, or Harry dares to call themselves a Historian?
