Under such circumstances, the tale of the “Good-natured Snake” has turned into a sort of “urban legend” among the players. After endless discussions, they’ve co to believe that it’s an Easter egg left by the developers; so story-driven players theorize it’s a “special quest chain” and expect that the snake’s story will eventually unfold through quests.
It must be said, those story-driven players active on the forums are truly resourceful; they often manage to deduce certain “truths” by piecing together small details and storyline hints.

Triss nodded slightly and surveyed her surroundings. The improvised campsite had already been cleared out; it was evident no one wanted to miss the second chapter of the vampire storyline. Even those perpetually grumbling human players were unwilling to pass up the chance to witness the unfolding narrative and loot the drops.
Sigh, players are such fickle creatures—always itching to involve themselves in anything interesting, with hardly any loyalty to the ongoing matters before them.
This left Mrs. Bernice, who was still overseeing the undead’s construction of a rest camp, quite disgruntled, and even her daughter and son-in-law seed a bit at a loss.
This was normal. For the two half-elf leaders, it was their first ti interacting with players, and they hadn’t yet adjusted to the players’ excessively chaotic and free-form behavior. To them, the noisy warriors resembled individuals who suddenly received an invisible command, abandoning the newly discovered earth palace without warning, and rushing alongside their Governor into Shadow Valley.
One mont, they were swarming around, asking countless questions; the next, they departed without a shred of sentint, like a pack of lunatics!
But this wasn’t really a problem.
Given Lisa and ckel’s status at the 004 station within Shadow Valley, they were bound to ascend as mbers of the “elite NPCs” sooner or later. The phrase “Our beloved Transylvania has its own way of governance,” widely circulated among Transylvania’s bureaucracy, was certain to beco one of their catchphrases in the future.
“Hog, co here!”
While preparing various materials and psychic items for entering the earth palace, Triss summoned the visibly uneasy Blood Claw Chief.
Hog had already made thorough battle preparations.
Gone was his previous unkempt appearance. He now donned the Shadow Armor of the Hunting Forbidden Guard, the Bone-biting King. Several claw blades and poison knives suited for wolf people’s hands hung at his waist, a bone hunting bow was slung across his back, and his wolfish face was partially obscured by a black face covering and semi-enclosed leather battle helm. He exuded a professional and awe-inspiring presence.
The creature had picked up so “otherworld knowledge” from so loose-tongued player, deciding that as a chieftain, he needed a recognizable costu. Consequently, he also carried a Bloodclaw Clan battle flag on his back.
From afar, he looked like a pint-sized Wolf People Sword Saint. Soone unfamiliar might think he was about to activate Wind Walk and start chopping farrs.
However, the imposing attire couldn’t mask Hog’s current nervousness.
Ever since Lord Murphy tasked him with a “legendary quest chain,” Hog had been on edge. Besides repairing Wolf Castle, the matter had consud his thoughts entirely.
After all, his ultimate enemy was an erging Evil God…

In this era, this is nearly the most perilous thing you can risk.”
Although the Grand Duke Triss was known as the Crimson Witch, years of downfall had transford the once malevolent vampire prodigy into a more tempered figure. In fact, most of the ti, Triss was even “kinder” than Murphy.
She gazed down at Hog and said:
“This is your last chance to walk away, Hog!
Although this wasn’t part of Murphy’s plan, I understand the malevolent might of that organization better than he does. Considering your previous service to this land, I’ll give you this opportunity to choose.”
