Chapter 1879: Chapter 627: “Silent” Transylvania

Murphy didn’t disturb the workers and spread his wings to fly into the evening sky, looking down at his city.
The players’ absence seed not to have disturbed the established order of the city. People holding various positions around the city were getting off work and heading ho, while street vendors continued their business. The fierce customs of Transylvania people didn’t make this behavior unwelco locally.
Notably, a new bar called “jewa’s Old Stories” recently opened in the comrcial district. It’s reportedly run by Veylanther’s shadow elves and is Crimson Castle’s first real “entertainnt venue.”
The opening of this shop had Milian’s strong support, obviously believing that besides watching brutal gladiatorial matches and secretly organizing dangerous boxing matches, her subjects also needed so other “normal” leisure activities.
The newly established “Elf Community” at the outermost edge of the residential area wasn’t eye-catching. Still, so half-elves who had moved in chose to walk in the vampire city that welcod them during the evening, carrying a sense of unfamiliarity and discomfort.
Murphy withdrew his gaze and looked towards the Temple District.
It was ti for evening prayers, with the bells of Avalon Cathedral echoing. So believers were gathering at the Eye of Wolf God Monastery, while Vam’s Berserker Temple hadn’t been completed yet, cold weather didn’t deter the tattoo-covered barbarian priests who proceeded to conduct martial training with so believers shirtless.
Hmm, actually, the players’ departure did slightly impact the city.
At least the Adventurer Guild was much quieter than usual. Although there were still local rcenary groups coming and going there, they lacked the players’ noisy hustle that made it seem like the floor was on fire and they couldn’t walk properly.

After all, this city was shaped piece by piece by the players. Even though the number of players was at an absolute disadvantage compared to the population of Crimson Castle now, the city still inevitably absorbed so of their unique colors.

A slightly disdainful voice from behind, belonging to Triss, reached him as Murphy turned to see the Duke flapping wing-like dragon wings and eyeing him while holding a glass of blood-mixed wine.
The Duke rcilessly mocked:
“Feeling a bit lonely since the players left? Want a warm hug from Lady Triss?”
“We are vampires, Triss, our hugs can never be warm.”
Murphy seized the opportunity to quip and then stretched his arms, saying:
“I just think, perhaps we really should prioritize the construction of the ‘Hall of Valor.'”
Locals now use ‘Valor’ to describe them. When I initially spread this rumor, I didn’t expect it would beco so widespread and accepted. Won’t they find the term Valor too exaggerated?”
“Certainly not.”
Triss shook her head and said:
“Transia People have suffered long enough from war. They are belligerent but have always hoped for a great power to arrive, protecting them from hazardous creatures snatching away their lives at any mont.
