Chapter 1923: Chapter 642: Cowboys Are Really Busy [3/5, Bonus for Brother “Chen Wenjun 2”]
[Ding! Special mission: Battle at Fortress of Courage has been triggered!
Mission content:
A vicious pack of Wolf People, accompanied by their fierce Gnoll servants, is attacking the front line near the Fortress of Courage, which is not far from the Black Fla Maw Position.
The cowardly Wolf People plan to take advantage of the official war just starting, aiming to destroy the Blood Banner standing atop the Fortress of Courage. The Split Claw Clan’s thugs intend to demolish this symbol of the Transia People’s courage, thereby dealing a heavy blow to the morale of the Guard Army of Blackfla Pass.
Can’t deny, those scummy mutts picked the perfect timing.
Construction at the Fortress has only just begun; there aren’t many soldiers stationed, just a group of ard workers. The good news is there are enough weapons, ammunition, and food on the Fortress worksite, so they should be able to hold out for a while.
The bad news is there’s no way they can break through the thousands of attacking Wolf People on their own.
Therefore, the warriors must decide whether to go and support the battle at the Fortress.
Mission objective:
Complete the support before the Fortress of Courage is breached by the Wolf People rioters, and assist the Fortress defenders in repelling the invasion.
Mission rewards:
Increased favorability with all factions and NPCs at the Black Fla Maw Position!
Earn a Battle Badge from the Fortress, which can be used to purchase special supplies from the Quartermaster or expertly crafted gear and weapons from the Blood Covenant Clan and Brass Dwarves at the Black Fla Maw Position.
Hint!
This mission is part of the Black Disaster Battlefield routine tasks, refreshed randomly at irregular intervals. All players near the Black Fla Maw can accept this mission and decide whether to complete it.
But once the Fortress of Courage is overrun, it declares the permanent deletion of this mission.
Developnt Team Notice!
Due to a mistake by the developnt team, 30 new players were born in the Fortress of Courage. They lack the communication Treasure Bead and cannot contact other players, trapped and yearning for rescue from their compatriots.
Here are the nas of the trapped players:
“Taranova”, “Ruyi knows my heart”, “Cowgirl Judy”, “Jade Little Wheat”, “The Commander said I’m cool”, “The Commander said I’m short”, “The Commander said I’m fierce”…]
The sudden trigger of a random mission shocked the players who were recovering the second position at Blackfla under Murphy’s leadership.
Their shock wasn’t so much from the random event at the Fortress adding trouble at this mont. What genuinely stunned the players was the incredible misfortune or lucky encounter of these 30 unlucky folks today.
They knew these 30 didn’t enter the ga through normal application channels, but via a sync activity involving the developnt team and the Transia Tavern APP that allotted 30 slots.
Theoretically, these folks being drawn among tens of thousands of reserve players as one of 30 could clearly be seen as “chosen ones”, yet they just entered the ga only to encounter a developnt team error with the wet casting producing a wrong spawning point, causing them as level-one newbies to be trapped amidst a horde of frenzied Wolf People.
There might as well be a result of total annihilation, possibly sparking a “Server’s first! Fastest death legend” event.
A string of mocking laughter instantly echoed within the players’ team frawork at the Black Fla Maw.
Though they too were fighting miserably on the front lines, with over 200 brothers already facing the three-day no-internet package within an hour of entering the ga, tonight’s distraught souls might increase in count, possibly several keyboards facing doom. However, seeing others down on their luck sohow brought comfort.
Nevertheless, upon glimpsing the list of those 30 unlucky folks, many were taken aback.
“Damn!”
Lord Qin quickly took down a Gnoll rioter beside him with a shot, tossed the explosives he held into the freshly dug tunnel below, dodged with agility unbecoming of a seventy-year-old, and stood upright amidst the explosive blaze, drawing the Hero Weapon Chainsaw Sword from his back.
This ti, the old military head was shouting angrily at his adjutant, “Old soldier of the Qing dynasty”:
“Those three nas starting with ‘Commander’… they should be the soldiers I just picked, truly unlucky dogs. Quickly gather the n, we’re going to save them soon!”
“Yes, Commander.”
The old soldier of the Qing dynasty replied with a chuckle, causing Old Qin to furiously simr. This group always teased him using this title.
Usually, in a general setting, such veterans wouldn’t dare joke with an officer, but given that you’re all “Internet-addicted middle-aged n” now, all those airs might as well be dropped, no?
The Silver Moon Group also comnced action simultaneously as Qin’s team.
“The worm-playing one and Ruyi are trapped over there. What’s with them? Why did they have to ss things up amidst an attack on the front line?”
Lumina, wielding her hunting bow, fired arrows as she maximized her half-elf deadly archery, while squeezing in so tunes to buff the nearby NPCs and players.
She appeared overwheld, yet had long crafted her unique Bard fighting style, battling fluidly.
Still feeling a bit impatient, Lumina darted to “Lady Shui”, wheezing next to her, clutching a large sword, and shouted:
“Sister Shui, make a decision, save or not?”
“Of course, we must save them, but we can’t go alone. Reflecting on the previous Blood Flag Wheel War requires at least five hundred to head over, NPCs included.”
