The first encounter between Hog and the Grey Wolf Army quickly made the Wise Wolf realize everything that Sir Murphy had once experienced.
It was really pleased that Sir Murphy had actually sent aid, but subsequent interactions with this group of newbies were quite exhausting.
The Werewolf Players on this side didn’t have a comprehensive beginner guidance system like the Crimson Castle. Although the number of the Wise Wolf Faction was steadily increasing with Boboke’s assistance, there were only a few mbers wise enough to use the Calculating Pearl to assign tasks.
Hog counts as one, Assistant Tear Flesh counts as another, the eccentric La Claw counts as half, and those elite mbers from the Pestilence Clan can also learn this “advanced skill.” Boboke is as dim-witted as other Werewolves, but it’s willing to learn, and Hog is willing to teach.
Unfortunately, it’s just these few NPCs who can assign tasks to players, which isn’t enough to even set up the frawork of an NPC system.
Luckily, the main gaplay of the Jackal Camp is free exploration, giving Hog room to play smart. It sends simple main line tasks to the first batch of 21 Werewolf Players, leaving the rest to exploration under the guise of treasure hunting.
It instructed Boboke to take these guys for a spin around the edges of the Black Eye Clan territory, first letting them complete the “Race Task of Taming the Throne Wolf” and “Race Task of Learning Combat.”
Boboke gladly took on this task.
Not because it had the patience to teach a group of hyperactive kids, but mainly because Boboke had been stripped of its command qualification by its father after returning from the front lines. Now it only had the empty title of Military Governor, with less than 50 loyalists under its command.
Boboke was eager to follow Hog to seek the great civilization origin of the Werewolves, but with just these 50 n, it was impossible to achieve it, so Boboke planned to “recruit” from the surrounding small clans through the old tradition of the Werewolves.
But without the Black Eye Chief’s orders, which small clan would dare to give it soldiers?
In the end, the most direct thod was left.
Let its soldiers challenge those warriors who hadn’t been recruited. After defeating them, they could be forcibly recruited. This behavior was ancient and barbaric, usually only done by new clans eager to expand their territory. Boboke had no choice.

Boboke first took the players for a spin in the clan warehouse, flaunting its authority as a Junior Chief to equip them with armor and weapons, then donned its Commander War Flag, and shouted to the curious newbies from a mound:
“The Wise Wolf has entrusted with the mission to build a great army. I’ll first take you to ta your Throne Wolfs, then we’ll quickly make rounds to the small clans, and it’ll be your showti!
If you can defeat ten, you’ll be a Leader of Ten!
If you can defeat 100, you’ll own a hundred-man squad, becoming a Centurion!
If you can defeat 1,000, I’ll appoint you Little Chief.
Unlike other races with complicated appointnt processes, we Werewolves inherently respect strength!”
While speaking, Boboke clumsily operated the Calculating Pearl to send out its first task as an NPC, with a dinging sound, 21 players received an initial task nad “Path of Conquest.”

But this promotion mode greatly suited the players’ taste, way simpler than the current hierarchical system executed in Transylvania. Isn’t it just about fighting? Hey, we players have never been afraid of a fight.
“Move out!”
Boboke mounted its rare white Throne Wolf and grandly led its 50 soldiers and 21 players out of their clan territory, with players still sharing their earlier haul along the way.
