Upon bursting into the circular tunnel and taking a glance, Murphy, still suffering from a headache, found the situation amusing.
Those scoundrels finally reaped what they sowed this ti.
A circle of Wolf People were bound by the filthy power released from the subspace rift, their bodies lting and twisting like candles.
They had lost their human form, resembling disgusting Flesh Slis that could only issue pained moans, making it effortless to imagine the agony these creatures were enduring.
The Plane Diamond brought here had already dissipated by two-thirds. In Murphy’s eyes, an invisible black fissure was etched into the increasingly weakened space, resembling anything but an eye. Yet, through it, Murphy could vaguely glimpse the “scenery” on the other side.
A dark nebula, constantly howling, was expanding and roaring.
Amidst the peculiar starry fog like a thundercloud storm, a divine abomination covered in bizarre limbs was barely visible as it trekked towards the material world.
This was the subspace shadow “Original Sin” that they had encountered before and the vampiric civilization’s divine abomination, “Mother of Midnight.”
Tsk, the bad guys have indeed joined forces.
“Kill them!”
At Murphy’s order, the players imdiately launched an attack on the dozen or so Flesh Sli or “Chaos Eggs” in front of them.
Necessary Evil charged forward, piercing through, tearing apart the sickly pale flesh yet failing to harm the vile entity “gestating” inside. The lord stepped forward with the Solar Blade for a precise and lethal thrust, using the burn from the Solar Fire to incinerate the entity before it could be born.
This mainline NPC, wielding the Oga Program, struggled to kill the creature, making the players’ ager scratch damage not worth ntioning.
“Damn it! How is my commander’s hunting rifle only dealing single-digit damage? This thing is too tough! Guys, focus your fire, don’t scatter!”
Fist Mama anxiously shouted. Imdiately, a skilled Hunter placed a Psychic Mark on one of the Chaos Eggs. Under its large, red hunting mark, all players unleashed their skills, causing the blood bar on that stinking thing to start steadily decreasing.
“Master, this won’t work! The release of that subspace anomaly is in its final stages—we can’t prevent this rift from opening!”
Veylanther, using Divine Arts from Lady Spider, destroyed a Chaos Egg, warning:
“Use that power of yours! Destroy it before it opens! It’s the only way.”
“But won’t it explode?”
Murphy said:
“Last ti, we used a thod of Star Realm interference. Such a direct approach this ti will definitely cause the already accumulated subspace Chaotic Power to explode here—this isn’t a small-scale affair like a Star-world Tear. The violent force of subspace will absolutely change the terrain of Baphot Canyon.”
“Is this the ti to think about such things?”
Veylanther scread:
“If that thing isn’t closed, either of the two on the other side can easily crush all of us!”
“Wait, can you see the entity on the other side too?”
Murphy blinked, looking at Veylanther, who was hacking away at another Chaos Egg.
He felt a sense of puzzlent. He could see the entities on the other side of the rift because he was the inexplicable Alpha, while Veylanther was rely a chosen of Lady Spider, theoretically still mortal. How could she look directly at the subspace shadow without going mad?
But clearly, this was not sothing to discuss right now.
After weighing the options for a mont, Murphy decisively threw Necessary Evil to assist the players in battle. He then lifted the Solar Blade again, squeezing out another portion of the Oga Program’s power onto the blade, turning the originally fiery red Solar Fire into a pale white.
The vampire strode forward, mustering all his strength, and stabbed the blade into the invisible black fissure, while simultaneously spreading the purifying power from the Solar Blade to the surrounding area, attempting to destroy the rift with purification procedures.
The effect, well, was quite remarkable.
The black rift filled with the pale light like a cracked wall filled with instant noodles, but before it could be completely sealed, the subspace shadow on the other side hurled a “dim light” at Murphy with a roar.
“Boom”
The psychic explosion knocked Murphy off his feet, and he was sent flying, landing awkwardly among the players who quickly helped him up. The nerve-wracking sound of cracking filled the air, as the black rift shattered like glass right before their eyes.
The good news was, the rift was gone.
The bad news was, there was now a hole between the material world and subspace…
“Don’t be afraid, it’s healing!”
Veylanther reminded:
“Your power took effect. Look, its range is shrinking, and it will soon be completely sealed. We win…”
“Bang”
Before the word “win” could be fully spoken, flas burst forth before them.
Murphy had closed the fissure, preventing subspace shadows or divine abominations from crossing, but not before the opponent managed to “spit” into the material world at the last mont.
Watching figures, burning fiercely like demons, erge from the flas, and hearing Veylanther screech “The Destroyer of jewa City is back,” Murphy couldn’t help but curse:
