Where did so many relevant genes get contaminated overnight?"
"Genetic pool pollution! Murphy, Filoseer obviously hid so harsh things the elves did in secret."
Triss said hoarsely:
"Even before the birth of Lady Spider, the genetic pool of elven civilization had been polluted by their experints with creating artificial beings! They didn’t isolate those failed ’divine offspring’ but let them return to elven society, which directly led to the large-scale influx of ’created’ genetic fragnts into their society.
My God, were you all mad?
How lucky you must have been to not face mass extinction from the spread of genetic defects after pulling such harsh moves?"
"Extinction? No, quite the opposite. It is precisely because of the spread of divine offspring genes that the Elf Kingdom managed to survive crisis after crisis, freeing our kin from the slow evolution and silent decline unique to the Eternal Species, maintaining a lasting prosperity."
Filoseer shook her head and said:
"The birth and split of Shadow Elves was just an accident. After that, the Great Druids of the Castia Great Tree began to strictly control the interaction between divine offspring and ordinary elves, but the fact is, it was already too late to nd the fold after the sheep had fled.
To this day, over a third of the elves in the Castia Elf Kingdom carry various divine offspring genes. Most are recessive, with only a few lucky ones able to awaken the true divine lineage.
Even so, the Elf Kingdom has gained sufficient strength to defend the holand from it.

"Unlike him, I am a divine offspring. I can feel Avalon’s will, my god doesn’t allow to attempt sothing so dangerous. I will follow His will, but back to the initial issue, Luna’s case can no longer be delayed!
Recently, the Origin’s activities in the Elf Kingdom have beco rampant.
She seems to be provoked, continuously seeking those unable to awaken their divine lineage, enticing them to join a strange organization called the ’Witch Cult’.
I foresee that no matter what Luna intends to do, she has entered the final phase of her plan, so I need your help!

Murphy asked:
"You are her mother!"
"Sir, please think carefully before saying such words."
Miss Filoseer shook her head and said:
"I am the Priest of the Mother of Forest and a Ranger. My life has been dedicated to my god; I will have no love or offspring. Perhaps this sounds callous, but the fact is, in my eyes, that child Luna is a poor-quality product that must be dealt with.
She indeed has a tragic past, but that doesn’t change the sins she’s committed with her own hands!
No matter how Lady Triss feels, as the Ranger General, I must fulfill my duty to the country and its people. She is a murderer, a felonious criminal, a heretic of the worst kind. The greatest rcy for her would be an arrow through the eye!
Though I am an artificial being, I do not feel sadness or despair for my identity.

King Quirion values my talents to the extent that he truly regards as family. My sister-in-law, the Queen of the Moon Elves, Lady Ilenea Carronode, would talk to endlessly, and I have an adorable niece who sees as her life ntor.
For an artificial being, this is the most perfect happiness I can envision.

The Ranger General stood up.
She looked at Triss and said seriously:
"Take on the responsibility of being a ntor, Lady Triss!
If you indeed once viewed Luna as your daughter, if you truly wish to respond to Luna’s twisted yet terrifying affection for you... then join in giving her release. This is better for both of us, in a sense."
