Charlemagne·Morva·Giovanni, the Archduke of the Blood Fear Clan and an ancient of the lineage of greed, was also one of Lord Paryen’s good brothers during the Golden Era.
However, this Archduke has a very low presence among the ancient vampires.
On one hand, it’s because Archduke Charlemagne was a serious and uninteresting person as recorded, with few friends or confidants; on the other hand, according to Lord Paryen, Charlemagne held the position of Starfield Explorer in the Eden District during the Golden Era.
He and his clansn had to be on long-term missions in the Star Realm for comprehensive exploration, so they parted ways with other brothers and sisters frequently, which also led to sowhat cold relations between the Blood Fear Clan and other clans.
This clan excels in producing outstanding hunters. It is said that the reason the Thorn Clan could rapidly develop in the past two hundred years is because the Blood Fear Clan was subjected to punitive expeditions, which directly caused the neses of the assassins to disappear from the vampire ecosystem.
Despite Babro being rather unreliable as an Archduke, his hunting instincts displayed in several battles were enough to astonish Murphy, especially when paired with his absurd "Spear of the European Emperor," allowing him to easily injure Golden Ones with silver-level prowess.
They have impressive hunting talents, and now this talent has strangely fused with the pirate profession, allowing the Blood Fear Pirates to quickly occupy the upper echelon of the Misty Sea ecosystem after their inception.
However, the ancient mories of the solemn and uninteresting Duke of Blood Fear, Lord Charlemagne, were even more thrilling than any mories Murphy had previously seen,
starting with a counter-assassination after a failed assassination attempt.
Within these ancient mories, in a hidden part of the Eden District, seven vampire leaders were casually chatting in the background of subordinates cleaning up bodies and the scene after a brief and not intense battle.
Murphy noticed that in Charlemagne’s mories, the face of Lord Vite Fatto Fesnolatu was also a blur, indicating that even though Archduke Charlemagne had experienced amnesia, he instinctively resisted everything related to the Duke of Mad Blood.
Just like Salockdale’s mories, Murphy presud other ancient mories might show similar scenes, with the ancients seemingly resisting... no, fearing information related to the Duke of Mad Blood, possibly connected to so details of the Holy Blood Seal.
"These Goat n are simply insane; they dared to conduct an assassination on a senator in broad daylight in the Eden District."
Within the ancient mories, the dashing yet alluring Lady Oksana complained while cleaning the blood off her combat fist blades:
"It seems Pa Ying’s balance of power against the ambitious Senator Vidia in the parliant has made him intolerable. Although these individuals are not Vidia’s followers, the fact they are Goat n is enough for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to launch an inquiry.
Do you need to personally oversee this matter, Pa Ying?
I could work to turn this into an iron case, allowing the arrogant Senator Vidia to get a taste of imprisonnt, which might teach those arrogant Goat Man scholars to respect us."
"Absolutely not."
Salockdale placed his hand on the waist of his fiery-tempered wife, whispering while wearing the badge of necessary evil:
"There’s sothing strange inside and out about this matter. Vidia is not a reckless fool; if he were really behind this, it wouldn’t have been so poorly executed."
"Exactly, this is obviously a setup."
Edward, who thoroughly enjoyed battle, leaned against the parapet of the rooftop, playing with a pack of cigarettes, speaking softly:
"Soone is trying to spark a conflict between vampires and Goat n to profit from it. I’ve heard so rumors from Craftsman friends that so onlookers saw an opportunity in the opposition between Pa Ying and Vidia in the council.
Charlemagne, you’ve been undercover here for half a month, have you found any useful information?"
"None."
The protagonist of this mory, Charlemagne, held his beloved hunting rifle, shook his head, and spoke in concise terms:
"All small fry, unable to dig up any useful information. The Ministry of Internal Affairs might continue to investigate, but I think it’s pointless."
"I’m more curious as to why these lower-level Goat n thugs would contact you?"
Vite, with a face of chaos, asked gently:
"You spend most of your ti working in the Star Realm, far removed from Eden District’s political arena. Logically, they should be looking for or Constantius; everyone knows we have ideological conflicts with Pa Ying.
We are more suitable as targets to manipulate."
"Just say it, Vite, we are all brothers and sisters, no need to hold back."
A vampire elder sister wearing a hood beside Vite asked in a very magnetic voice:
"Charlemagne, have you been secretly involved in so dangerous activities?"
Facing this interrogation, Charlemagne remained silent, maintaining his handso deanor.
His appearance among the ancient vampires was second only to Lord Paryen in masculinity, taking a stoic and silent approach, and his silence left other ancients quite dissatisfied. But before others could speak, Lord Paryen, holding the Spear of Eternal Silence, spoke proactively:
"There is no need to guess. I asked Charlemagne to infiltrate them, not just these Goat n, Charlemagne has connections with all the forces in the shadows of the Eden District. He took on this role voluntarily, to protect our kindred basking in the sunshine."
