This death anomaly crafted by Twilight single-handedly supported the spiritual energy operations across the entire position. The force of death spread so extensively that it even suppressed the space for other spiritual energy operations.
Triss, who was assisting Murphy in the front line, imdiately noticed the change in the surrounding spiritual energy. Frowning, she hurled a fully-ford chain lightning forward, clearing the area ahead, and then she casually granted her little Mo Fei a thunderbolt shield before flapping her wings to ascend and gaze around.
In the eyes of the Spiritual Overlord, the whole position under the dark night had been clearly divided into two regions by a massive amount of death psychic power.
Under the ingenious manipulation of the brain-addled Little Mummy, the outer ring’s death psychic power had coalesced into a physical form, transforming into gusts of eerie wind to resurrect the remains. Under the reverse shock of massive walking corpses and continually falling shells, the Jackal army that had invaded the flanks was gradually being pushed out.
anwhile, as soldiers retreated towards the inner ring at the back, there wasn’t much death psychic power to fill the area to prevent the generation of harmful death echoes to life.
It must be said, the Death Moon Society’s orthodox use of power is indeed more effective than the Twilight Cultists’ improvisational thods. These Necromancy Skills can be used not only for killing but also for protection.
However, the undead raised by the orthodox death rituals, lacking souls, are constrained and their actions lack agility. They can only serve as the most primitive at shields under the command of Netherworld Knights and "Necromancers".
Yet, at this mont, the most striking presence on the battlefield is not those bodies driven forward by death-induced rage, but those ard walking machines running down from the rear position along the mountainside amidst chanical roars, killing towards the flanking Jackal army with an earth-shaking stance.
Ordered by Murphy to be "Dragon knights," these chanical weapons, powered by Burning Gold fuel, burst with trendous power. They dashed towards the battlefield with a chanical stiffness that is uniquely swift, opening their rear ammo container amidst the cheers of retreating soldiers. The Iron Fist Missiles, mounted together in the most primitive structure, were tilted towards the sky and later were fired towards the areas most populated by Wolf People, as decided by the wetware brain of the Dragon knights.
Those Iron Fist Missiles drew white smoke rings in the night and crashed to the ground propelled by red flas, creating glaring explosions.
They stand unmoved amidst the fiery flashes of shelling like majestic prehistoric beasts.
The giant six chanical legs, with each lift and drop, would leave behind a pool of mangled at, and, in the silent yet eerie cluster of the countless walking corpses, these "automatic warriors" with the most basic combat awareness seed to truly erupt with an emotion nad "rage" beneath their steel shells.
They rampaged through the dispersing Jackal army, even proactively activating the built-in flathrowers on both front and rear to ignite those ugly yet fanatical barbarians with viscous flas. Among these big guys, the ch labeled "Duke of Moritz" was particularly fierce.
Being the prototype, Old Flywheel had added many ingenious ideas to this Dragon knight.
For instance, the foldable harvesting scythes hidden beneath the exterior armor, and the high-voltage stakes beneath the chassis, were devices not made by anyone other than engineers from the Church of the chanical Spirit who focused on combat. These extra-mounted destructive weapons were brutishly used by Dragon knight One.
The two folded sharp cutting scythes acted like a farr cutting grass, driving with imnse kinetic energy from steam ejection, slicing all nearby Wolf People into pulp with each fold and eject. And once the Wolf People tried to climb onto Dragon knight One for close-quarter destruction, those protruding high-voltage stakes would erupt with dazzling electric grids, turning them into charred masses.
Removing the cumberso crew cabin allowed these reinforced dragon knights to carry more lethal devices and install larger energy furnaces, granting them abundant power, thus entirely eradicating concerns about endurance. Although many technical details remain unperfected, the test version of this iron beast achieved remarkable results on its first appearance.
Even Murphy, imrsed in the perception of power, was startled.
After a burst of Crimson Ability cleared out the nearby miscellaneous troops, Murphy spread his wings and flew into the air. Standing together with Triss mid-air under the night, he watched the fifteen chanical Dragon knights maneuver like moving fortresses within the Jackal army, nodded approvingly, and said:
"This is the true fate of warriors; even the process of approaching death should not be mundane, nor should they gently enter that good night. This will beco a new martial tradition for Transia People..."
"But it will also aggravate the doubts and demonization of us by other foolhardy places."
Triss said with a pout:
"Now, those who love to sar the people of Transia have sothing to say. They will claim that Transia Barbarians do not allow warriors to die, that they brutally extract warriors’ souls and trap them in their evil machines, driving those poor souls to fight endlessly until dissolution cos, thus fulfilling nearly eternal service."
"Indeed, in so sense, they are not wrong."
