Huggesen watched this ratman, and felt relieved after confirming it hadn’t inherited the mory of the previous ratman.
It seed these ratn only received the "enlightennt" of the Lord of Darkness, but did not beco capable of truly communicating with the Divine Spirit. They only knew what the Lord of Darkness wanted; as for how to achieve it, they had to rely on the wisdom granted by the Lord of Darkness.
However, the ratn’s brains were destined not to co up with any useful strategies. The fact that they could be swayed by the Silver Wolf’s pack into acting as cannon fodder for Huggesen already proved the caliber of these Black Servant ratn.
What a perfect tool they are!
Huggesen’s wild smile grew wider, and he leaned on his war hamr and said to the screaming ratman in front of him:
"I apologize to you, great chosen one of the darkness, it truly was an accident just now. It was two divine spirits greeting each other, and how could re mortals like us possibly endure such glory?
To express my apology, I personally will gift your Black Servant clan a batch of weapons and armor... I guess you’re probably quite in need of these things now.
Go find my quartermaster, tell him to allocate three thousand sets of equipnt originally intended for the gnolls to you. As servants of the divine, your current state is hardly dignified."
"Ah, ah, ah, this is good, this is good!"
The second Black Servant chosen one imdiately beca happy, emitting squeaky sounds, and said to Huggesen:
"You’re a good thing, gnolls, you are a friend of the Black Servant clan, a good thing. We feel your sincerity, so when shall we go trouble Dog Murphy?"
"No rush, no rush, such things should never be hurried."
Huggesen casually said:
"First, bring your people to the Polluted Swamp. I’ll have the gnolls teach you how to use explosives, then wait for an opportune mont. Of course, since you lack supplies upon arrival, I’ll also share so food with you.
By the way, are you picky eaters?"

The Black Servant ratman proudly said:

At this point, the second chosen one was ecstatic.

If a competent chosen one were here, they would see it as a horrific insult and crack open the ignorant ratman’s skull with a war hamr.
Yet, Huggesen laughed heartily at this mont, as if he heard the funniest ratman joke ever. He laughed so joyfully that the two ratn and the surrounding guards were all left scratching their heads.
After several seconds, with tears in his eyes from laughing, Huggesen waved his paw and said:
"If possible, I wouldn’t mind experiencing the grace of the Lord of Darkness. Unfortunately, my fate has long been bound completely with my god.
I fight for my god, share His glory and might, bear His sha and burdens.
I am born for Him, so naturally, I must die for Him.
Therefore, I can only thank you for your regard, chosen one. Let’s leave such opportunities for the next life, hmm, I haven’t laughed this happily in a long ti. For the joy you brought , I want to give you a gift."
Huggesen casually pulled out a short sword from his combat boot. It was a dagger made from the wolf tooth of the forr Wolf Disaster Lord Baux, very wild yet very practical, and considered a top-notch piece of equipnt even for those with discerning tastes, but Huggesen tossed it to the second chosen one without a second thought.
The latter received it joyfully, and imdiately imitated the surrounding gnolls in the way they wore it on their waist.
A gnoll-sized short sword was a standard single-handed sword in its hands of this size; it was just about to thank Huggesen for his gift when the Grand Marshal, with indescribable fatigue, said:
"All right, off you go, get busy with your affairs. This conversation is over. Can you tell your na, chosen one?"
"Uh, my lord hasn’t given a na, but you can call Black Servant."
"No, every life should have a na; it represents the most basic and original dignity. You don’t have one, so I’ll give you one.
You may call yourself ’Black Servant Sen,’ son of Black Servant."
