Hearing news about Fatu, Oru’s onyx-like eyes flickered with complex emotions. As an intelligent Legendary Creature, it knew that Triss was saying these words to incite hatred against the Wolf People.
But the serpents living in the swamp were well aware of the outside circumstances.
The Transia People were indeed fighting the Wolf People, and before the war ended, Curator Murphy didn’t have the ti to search for the whereabouts of the forr curator.
Moreover, the rampant destruction in the swamp by the Wolf People greatly irritated the serpents who regarded this place as their ho. Thus, Oru moved its massive body forward, and the other serpents, hidden in stealth, followed their leader silently through the mire, approaching the rear of the Wolf People’s army.
Just then, Huggesen, who was waiting for the Klim Fortress to be overrun by wolves, suddenly felt his heart race. Riding on Throne Wolf Death Claw, he swiftly turned back to glance at the empty swamp behind him. His hunter instincts as God’s Chosen warned him of imminent danger, leading Huggesen to swiftly dodge to the side and wave the flag held by the officer next to him.
He intended to command his army to disperse swiftly, but in the next mont, Oru blinked into existence at the flank of the Wolf People’s army. The massive body crushed hundreds of unfortunate souls as it appeared, and its gem scales shone brilliantly, casting an unbreakable blindness spell that blinded thousands of Wolf People.
The serpents following Oru swayed their long necks adorned with majestic cloud-like manes, spitting a rain of venom ahead. The area it fell engulfed not just flesh and blood but even steel, lting away with ease.
The seven serpents’ unannounced assault and shaless ambush threw the flank of the Wolf People’s army into disarray, though it didn’t harm the main body of this massive force. After breaking through the obstruction of the Wolf People, Oru didn’t pause but instead carried a group of battle-ready Winter Wolf Monks to pounce towards the chaotic Star Realm Wolf packs within the fortress ahead.
Due to the previous shaless ambush by the Endless Ones in the Star Realm, Oru harbored no fondness for these Star Realm creatures.
Upon seeing Lady Triss flapping her wings in the sky behind the ravaging serpents, Huggesen imdiately realized that this was the "welco gift" Murphy had prepared for the Wolf People. No wonder the guy had "suggested" stationing his army near the Klim Fortress during their last eting.
Just how many tools for warfare does that Dog Murphy have up his sleeve?
Groups of Legendary Serpents, formidable beyond human resistance, appeared one after another. If not for the unexpected Star Realm wolf disaster, the Wolf People would have had to face the wrath of these serpents, and how many more Wolf People would be lost to possibly slay or repel these Legendary Creatures?
"Hold steady; let’s not enter the city just yet."
The Grand Marshal observed the serpents and wolves clashing in battle, squinting his eyes as he instructed the waiting commanders beside him:
"Let the serpents and wolves have at each other, regardless of the outco, it can’t harm us."
As the Grand Duke of Triss commanded the serpents into the battlefield, buying a glimr of hope for the besieged Klim Fortress to turn the tides. anwhile, in the central position of the fortress’s battlefield, Duchess Shani, who was single-handedly restraining two Wolf Disaster Lords, was not in good condition.
Despite having new killer moves granted by the Thorn Crown’s manifest spiritual power, Shani was in a hectic struggle against the ferocious pursuit of the two behemoth lords.
She managed to severely injure one of them, but narrowly avoided being bitten in half by the other giant wolf. It marked her with a hunting breath, relentlessly chasing her through the shadows, leaving Shani without a mont to catch her breath.
For an assassin of her caliber, escaping was relatively easy, but the dilemma lay in her inability to run!
Given the current situation at Klim Fortress, the other Golden Ones were already struggling to contain the Demigod Silver Wolf. If she chose to retreat, allowing the Wolf Disaster Lords to turn back and slaughter the troops, the fortress they secured at great cost would soon be breached, leaving no one here able to escape.
The inability of the Star Realm Wolf packs to siege was perhaps the only weakness in this wolf disaster, and the singular hope for the Klim Fortress’s endurance.
"Move to the side!"
As Shani skillfully danced through shadows to avoid the pursuit of the giant Wolf Lord behind her, a woman’s voice, carrying a trace of Greeney’s accent, suddenly rang in her ears, saying:
