"Good, good! We finally made it on ti."
In the R-9 Base, through the ti perspective of the Endless One, Murphy finally breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the Black Winter Wolf Aelius appear at the critical mont, fiercely intercepting the frenzied Silver Wolf.
The situation at Klim Fortress deteriorated so rapidly in just a few hours, which truly caught him off guard, but fortunately, Old Su Head had made prior arrangents. After a series of coincidences, they finally endured until his prodigal son made an appearance.
The life of the God of the North Wind, hanging by a thread, was finally preserved. Even if Aelius was incompetent, he could probably hold off the Silver Wolf until the wicked sword was pulled out of Old Su Head’s chest, allowing it to heal itself.
No matter how bad the situation was, as long as Old Su Head could once again beco the God of the North Wind and launch an attack, then all problems could be easily solved.
"Mannis, block the other side of the Star Realm rift with Cui Tan; I suspect the Silver Wolf might flee when she realizes the situation is turning unfavorable."
Murphy reminded his collaborator:
"Don’t let her escape back to the Star Realm; she is destined to die in the material world, becoming the perfect conclusion to this series of ’Wolf Feuds.’"
"Do you even need to say that?"
The Endless One, now smiling like a weasel that had stolen a chicken, hissed and said:
"I’ve already called Pad over for this grand event. By then, the three of us will block here, and no matter how skillful the Silver Wolf is, she’ll have no chance to escape. However, I’ve had dealings with that Star Diviner under your command, that guy nad Paul has always been scheming to capture the astral power of the Lupus Constellation, truly a brazen villain.
He wants to bind the star symbolized by the Silver Wolf as his own natal constellation to seize the mystical powers of the Star Realm.
Now is the best opportunity; let Paul prepare. When the Silver Wolf dies, it’s the perfect ti to act before her constellation is transferred."
"Hmm, is there such a saying?"
Murphy asked curiously:
"Is the power of such constellations really strong?"
"It’s not particularly strong, but it is mysterious. We, as half-gods of the Star Realm, have an obscure connection with the Star Realm itself, but even we don’t fully understand this connection. However, those gifted astrologers in the material world can sotis summarize certain patterns through daily star-gazing."
The Endless One explained:
"The constellation power isn’t for combat; it’s more of an accumulation of knowledge about the Star Sea, so it’s not very aningful to you. But if it falls into Paul’s hands, it can greatly deepen his understanding of the Star Realm and help him explore the heritage of this fragnted world.
I’ve already spoken with him; no matter what he finds in the end, I will get one-third.
This is a rare good deal.
Speaking of which, on this side, a major divine descent action has occurred. Isn’t it rather inappropriate that you’re still sitting pat over there? How about coming over to snag a glory kill? You love collecting these shining achievents, don’t you?"
"I would love to co over, Mannis. Believe , I really want to. It’s a rare opportunity to witness a divine family’s conflict and personally partake in it."
Murphy glanced at his chanical pocket watch countdown, which only had twenty minutes left. He sighed and said:
"But the hundred thousand people of Cardman City are still counting on . Besides, Klim Fortress was pulverized by a single sky-high flight of Old Su Head. I must recreate a new fortress there before the Wolf People or Ratman breakthrough that Frigid Winter Tundra.
Cardman City, returning from the Star Realm, will replace Klim Fortress in continuing to guard the road to Kavkhoka, and our city’s return also signifies a reinforced claim on Kavkhoka.
Hm...
Hopefully, that Wolf Queen Majesty will show so sense after the battle and not attempt to haggle over such a fundantal issue with ."
"Emmmm"
The Endless One emitted a strange nasal sound; after several seconds, it ridiculed:
"If I hadn’t participated personally and known that you didn’t play an infamous role in this matter, I might have been led by your words to think that you were secretly driving everything happening at Klim Fortress.
You wicked fellow... Truly lucky."
"Alright, I won’t waste your ti any longer. Hurry up and complete your rescue."
"My good brothers and I will block the Silver Wolf here. I promised that there would be an imposing wolf head added to my lair. In such evil matters, I always keep my word."
The voice of the Endless One lowered, and Murphy’s observational perspective on Klim Fortress faded away.
Standing up from the resting room of the R-9 Base, he stretched his shoulders and withdrew his focus from the distant Klim Fortress, concentrating on the task at hand. If everything went smoothly, he might make it to snag an achievent before the Klim Fortress event concluded.
In this regard, Murphy is also a deeply hidden achievent enthusiast.
As the handso vampire stepped out of the resting room, the clearly exhausted Cent Sister stood there, evidently overthinking. She held a parchnt filled with various formulas and data, handing it to him, saying:
"I have completed the calculation of the new location for Cardman City with Master Boer. You just need to continually apply interference to Cardman City according to the positions calculated above to push the city into the predetermined location from the sub-space and Star Realm rift..."
"..."
Murphy took a look at the parchnt handed to him, the complex diagrams and numbers making his mind tremble. Even the combined mories of his two lifetis allowed him to barely understand one of the formulas... If he rembered correctly, this thing was called a Fourier transform, wasn’t it?
