In the sewage to the east, a Star Realm crocodile hid, an elite level one, occasionally erging to hunt.
Because it’s a Star Realm creature, it can hide and release large-scale psychic impacts, ruthless and hard to deal with.
The space underground in the west used to be a resting place for the gangs of Cardman City, but now it was occupied by a group of resentful spirits.
They were struggling to deal with these non-physical spiritual bodies, so Stick Brother also avoided that area.
What lay ahead was the boss of the underground gang, an elite ghoul.
It was said that before turning into a ghoul, he used to be a soldier, and so of the old soldiers in the camp even recognized him.
They specifically asked Stick Brother to bring him peace.
Happy Stick calculated the distance.
As soon as he heard the deep whines coming from the dark alley ahead, he imdiately stopped, pulled out his musket, aid forward, it’s really hard to hit the enemy in such a dim environnt without being a sniping expert.
But all he needed to do now was lure the enemy.

Stick Brother took a deep breath.
He raised his gun, aid and fired.

The low sound of the shot echoed in the dark alley of the sewer, imdiately startling the ghoul boss up ahead.
The boss lunged out on all fours, instantly releasing a suffocating stench that could be described as “plague.”
This creature was tall, but its whole skeleton had been twisted and degraded by the power of death, making its upper body extrely large.
Wearing ragged clothes, its skin was rotting and oozing disgusting pus, its large and terrifying claws turned black and red, scratching the ground and making a clattering sound with its beast-like claws.
Even though its muscles were rotten, the power of death allowed this monster to charge and pounce at a speed far beyond that of an ordinary man, and possess an unshakeable savage force.
The most terrifying thing was its head.
All traces of human features were gone, even the skin was broken and dry, revealing withered muscle tissue, the teeth were mutated and the mouth torn apart.
Its eyes were a pale fire in the darkness.
Although blind, its senses were extrely sharp.
This was a ghoul!
A legendary creature that has long been the “gatekeeper” on the dark creature ranking list, it usually shows up in places where wars and slaughters have happened and the corpses were not properly dealt with.
Although they don’t have the prestige of vampires, they have their own advantage of being highly susceptible to “mutations”.
Like this one currently chasing Happy Stick in the dark sewer, apart from its imnse death claw, it’s also dragging a cold, black soldier’s greatsword in its other hand.
That was its weapon while alive.
Even in death, it never let it go, proving this savage ghoul boss was not only enhanced but also retained its combat skills and instinct.
This makes it much more dangerous than an ordinary ghoul.

Stick Brother ran agilely in the sewer, turning back to fire another shot at the pursuing ghoul boss.
The shot hit square in the chest.
But the impact, capable of tearing an ordinary person’s chest, could only thwart its pounce for a mont before it continued its charge.
This was clearly not an opponent that an ordinary man could fight.
Unless, these ordinary people can ignite their absolute courage and utilize their superior intellect, the attribute that separates them from beasts.

The savage ghoul boss burst through the stone steps like a cannonball, chasing Happy Stick into the dead-end split in the sewer.
