Now reading: Chapter 351: from My Players Are So Fierce, a Action novel by 帅犬弗兰克.

The opening match of the Transia Boxing Championship was so intense, with the “warm-up” from Governor Murphy and Osprey Knight seemingly getting a bit too heated.

Their few minutes of combat left the carefully prepared boxing ring by the Blood Rat Gang in shambles. Without enough manpower and resources to repair it now, they had to make do with what remained.

Fortunately, the naturally bold Transians didn’t care about such minor details. They actually felt that continuing brave fights in an arena after powerful warriors had battled was a tribute to strength, so the remaining boxers beca even more passionate.

After Murphy retreated amid cheers from his subjects and little players, the boxing championship officially began, but the audience was already thoroughly satisfied.

Transians are crude and violent, naturally carrying a bit of a rebellious spirit, but this also ans they respect the strong. After witnessing Lord Murphy’s prowess firsthand, those who previously had so complaints about continuing to be ruled by a vampire basically all transitioned into a new phase of “willing submission.”

Making a na for yourself in a place with such fierce customs is that straightforward and simple. As the British would say, as long as you’re tough enough and domineering enough, having sufficient power can ingrain your authority deep in people’s hearts.

And for subjects, the only thing better than being governed by a wise and benevolent lord is being governed by a wise, benevolent, and powerful lord.

This isn’t just due to certain stubborn tendencies of Transians, but is based on the basic needs of a magical world.

On this continent where supernatural powers exist, being strong enough ans living long, and living long ensures various policies can run smoothly until forming a set of inheritable rules. Therefore, in this world, strong individual power is just a basic requirent for becoming an excellent lord.

If you can’t even protect yourself, how dare you claim to be able to shelter thousands of subjects?

However, Murphy had no interest in paying attention to his subjects’ psychological journey right now. He had returned to the Blood Rat Gang’s base for a brief rest and locked himself in a room, ordering that no one disturb him.

This wasn’t just because using Oga earlier left his whole body sore and exhausted, but more importantly because Knight Valand had successfully delivered what Avalon had “passed on” to Murphy after regaining consciousness.

Looking at the scattered light in his hand, Murphy was hesitant about whether to examine this “divine gift.”

Even thinking with his heel, he knew the risks contained within this thing.

After the Avalon Church was rebuilt in Transia, logically speaking, that Nature God would have had multiple channels available to convey ssages to Murphy, the simplest being to “appear in dreams” of the current church leaders for them to relay.

But Avalon didn’t choose to do that.

Instead, He communicated through the “low probability event” of the Forest Holy Grail, and the implications revealed by this were enough to set an overthinker like Murphy’s imagination running wild.

Murphy could be certain that Avalon did not want this information exchange to be noticed by other “great powers,” which is why He chose to relay it through an interdiary.

Hmm, the implications are terrifying when you think about it.

“I was watching the boxing matches quite happily, your little players are really impressive, that Niuniu has already won 6 consecutive matches, what the hell is that thing in your hand? Why do I sense weak divinity!

Where did you find such a dangerous object?

Quick, throw it away!

For non-believers like vampires, this is no different than gut-wrenching poison.”

Tris was quite unhappy when called over, pushing open the door. The Grand Duchess being forced to work when she could finally “legally slack off” had an attitude no different from female office workers complaining about overti.

But when she saw the floating fragnts of light in Murphy’s palm, all complaints were thrown to the winds.

As Tris’s expression turned serious, she drew out her Nocturne Scepter and cast three layers of energy techniques to block detection around them. Only then did she carefully crouch in front of Murphy to cautiously observe the fragnts of light in his hand.

“Avalon wants to see sothing, this is the truth behind Knight Valand’s obsession.”

Murphy rubbed his brow and explained with a headache:

“The Nature God clearly doesn’t want this exchange between Him and to be noticed by others, which gives a strong sense of unease.”

“You’re hesitating whether to look?”

Tris glanced at Murphy, but the vampire shook his head and said:

“I definitely have to look, I’m just not sure if this thing will have any effects on , so I asked you to co ‘protect’ . If I show any signs of faith inclining towards the Nature God, you need to wake up imdiately.

Although Avalon appears friendly, I really can’t fully trust Him. After all, that’s a subspace entity, an existence that must be regarded with vigilance.”

“You know that sentence sounds like ravings of a madman to ?”

Tris rolled her eyes and said:

“You discuss a deity in the sa tone as when you complain about those old guards watching the Blood Vulture Halls. That’s an Astral Great Spirit, a god, a figure who stands above the clouds looking down upon all beings.

You should have so necessary respect.

But since you’ve made your decision, I will certainly do my utmost. If it’s just viewing a ssage, the danger isn’t as great as you imagine.”

The Blood Vulture Grand Duchess stretched her wrists and shoulders, saying:

“Let’s begin, I’m watching over you here.”

“Mm.”

Having Tris by his side always made Murphy feel at ease, so he took a deep breath and grasped the scattered light in his hand, approaching with his mind.

The mont he touched this warm object, the vampire lord’s vision blurred as if being pulled into another world. When he turned his head to look around, all he could see was a peaceful sea of stars.

Murphy had thought he would see one of Avalon’s aspects here, but in the next instant, strange mists arose and unfurled what looked like a scroll of paintings before his eyes.

“Damn! When you said transmitting information you really ant transmitting information huh, you went to all this trouble to bring here just to show a video?”

Murphy complained harshly.

anwhile in the outside world, Tris who was “protecting” Murphy saw that trace of “disdain” appear on his face, making her very curious about what her little Murphy had seen.

The alluring Blood Vulture Grand Duchess hesitated for a mont, finally turning her gaze to the fragnts of light Murphy was holding in his hand.

Speaking of which

Since it’s information transmission, as little Murphy’s most trusted “assistant Xiao Cui,” taking a peek shouldn’t be a big problem right?

Having inherited countless spirit mages’ nature of courting death and loving trouble, she was already getting eager to try.

At this ti in the scene of “divine ssage,” Murphy had already seen what Avalon wanted him to see. Indescribably strange starlight ford one oddly-shaped figure after another before his eyes – so humanoid, so beast-like, and so without specific shapes like jellyfish or sponges.

They gathered together as if discussing sothing.

Murphy quickly determined the origins of these astral bodies.

Among them he saw a lifelike wolf, which should be “Su,” the God of the North Wind.

He also saw an astral dragon that had shrunk its body like a giant python, which must be “Ao,” the guardian deity of the Ancient Calum Kingdom. And the peculiar humanoid figure among the astral bodies displaying a notably strange four-faced-in-one form needed no explanation.

That was the true form of the Nature God Avalon.

In other words, these strange-looking astral bodies gathered together should be the “gods” of mortal legend, but what Murphy found strange was that the number of these astral bodies was far greater than the number of clearly existing deities on the continent.

Moreover, Murphy couldn’t hear the content of what they were discussing, he could only see from appearances that the “gods” seed to reach so agreent.

Then they jointly opened a door inviting a humanoid being to join them. At this point the scene suddenly pulled back, allowing Murphy to see the background of this peaceful starry sea from a more distant perspective.

Large swathes of purple-black nebulae surrounded them on all sides, like turbid mists eroding the peaceful starry sea where the gods resided.

That malevolence was undisguised.

And when Murphy saw those purple-black nebulae, he could feel the chaos, desire, greed and unease carried within them.

“Is that subspace?”

A guess erged in the vampire lord’s mind, and he seed to understand sowhat the ssage Avalon wanted to convey to him.

According to legend, the gods dwell in the mysterious Astral Realm, and in spirit mages’ understanding, the Astral Realm lies between the material world and subspace, being the original source of all spirit energy.

So, was Avalon’s aning that the Astral Realm is being invaded by subspace? Was this “gathering of gods” discussing how to counter subspace?

As he was pondering, the scene suddenly changed.

The gods reached an agreent with that invited humanoid being, then each astral body separated a point of starlight from their bodies and cast them into the distance. Murphy’s gaze followed those scattered starlights, finally seeing them constantly pass beyond the background of the Astral Realm, becoming streams of teors showering toward a lonely world existing in space.

Murphy’s perspective changed again at this mont. He tracked one of the four points of light cast by Avalon, watching it fall into a sunlit world and finally crash into a forest, buried deep underground.

And as ti passed like flowing water through countless changes, one morning, a barbarian wearing animal skins happened to track prey here.

With curiosity and reverence, he dug open the rocks existing in the forest, and from within found and held high an object.

That thing was actually the Forest Holy Grail that Murphy had seen with his own eyes a few days ago!

At this point, the ssage Avalon wanted to convey was crystal clear.

The “Holy Grails” from various legends across the continent truly ca from the gods, and their significance of existence was definitely not just selecting heroic warriors to bestow power upon them. These Holy Grails had deeper aning, they represented sacred witnesses to so agreent reached by the gods.

Kudel’s speculation was correct!

These Holy Grails all once carried great things, and this scene Murphy was watching may be the information contained within the Forest Holy Grail.

“Era Contract. Frontier Guard Astral Realm Sentry Subspace. Eternal War Find them! Alpha The truth lies within Astral Realm cannot protect forever Please. Join the war quickly!”

In the final echoes of the scene, Murphy vaguely saw a seeming yet uncertain calling, ford by several strange tones mixed together – there was a gentle maternal tone, a stern queen’s voice, pure maiden-like pleading, and gloomy crone’s lant.

This perfectly matched the four aspects Avalon possessed in elven mythology.

However, this final reminder was broken and discontinuous, not forming complete words, leaving Murphy still confused after awakening from this ssage.

He could be certain that Avalon wanted him to find more Holy Grails to piece together the gods’ secret, and that thing called the “Era Contract” was definitely extrely important.

And it could be confird that the gods’ current situation in the Astral Realm probably wasn’t good

“Ah, you’re not exactly speaking in riddles, but it’s not great to only say half of things, right? Or is it that you can’t reveal the complete information to , only give a clue to find myself? What is this?

An accidentally triggered side quest?

Making run all over the continent collecting various Holy Grails to beco a detective piecing together the truth of divine secrets?

And how exactly did you know the na ‘Alpha’?”

Murphy complained harshly.

He turned his head wanting to chat with Tris about what he’d seen, but as soon as he turned around he saw his vampire girl kneeling on the ground with an extrely sincere posture, hands folded muttering Avalon’s divine na.

“Damn, she’s obsessed?”

Murphy was startled.

He imdiately went forward to check Tris’s condition. Seeing that alluring vampire’s face wearing the exact sa peaceful expression as Knight Valand earlier, he knew Tris had definitely been “affected.”

She absolutely couldn’t resist the temptation and wanted to peek at Avalon’s ssage, so she was countered by the Nature God. Obviously, this information had been “encrypted” by Avalon, causing it to only be viewable by Murphy.

“Sigh, curiosity kills the cat.”

Murphy sighed.

Looking at “preacher” Tris before him who was trying to share the “great will of Avalon” with him, he helplessly picked her up and laid her across his legs, reactivating the Oga antivirus program to let purifying light cover his palm, then raised his left hand high.

“Tris, don’t bla after you wake up, I know this will hurt a bit, but you brought this on yourself.”

“Smack”

His palm ca down, making Tris who was full of “divine words and language” suddenly jolt, then cover her bottom and let out a pig-like scream of pain as she struggled, but was pressed down by Murphy, followed by another palm raised and brought down with a smack.

Hey, you know what.

This feels pretty good.

“Damn! Niuniu lost? What happened? Feels like he went down in the blink of an eye? Is this match fixing to scam us?”

Outside at the boxing ring, people had no idea their main quest NPC was playing so very stimulating things with his “girlfriend” in the Blood Rat Gang’s cabin. The little players’ attention was all drawn to the shocking developnt in the match before them.

Niuniu who had won 11 consecutive matches t his match, getting knocked down in three moves.

The uniquely bald vampire monk warrior Giant Shark Uncle exclaid:

“That hooded person made Niuniu kneel, this must be to ultimately humiliate him!”

“It’s not as exaggerated as you say, right?”

The nearby student group stirred.

Other than Sister Pogranate, Niuniu was already the strongest fighter among them, but now encountering that strange hooded boxer and being easily defeated showed they must have “spawned” a formidable NPC.

As for Niuniu now, he really wasn’t in the mood to consider so much.

He climbed up from the ground, clenched both fists into the starting position of the Hurricane Fist, warily watching the hooded person before him who was a head shorter.

Seeing Niuniu’s stance, the latter paused, but then also took up a Hurricane Fist starting position.

Slightly different from Niuniu’s stance, that person also said in a strange clicking tone:

“Even by the broad standards of the Sanda Sect, you’re just a beginner who’s barely entered the door. The essence of Hurricane Fist isn’t like this, you’re just wildly throwing punches driven by angry bloodlust, completely wasting your talent.

Surrender!

Let’s end this with dignity.”

“Save your breath! Bastard.”

Niuniu was provoked.

He stepped forward quickly throwing continuous punches like a hurricane, but the opponent didn’t even move his feet, simply using arms, elbows and stance transitions to nullify Niuniu’s attacks. When Niuniu’s strength slightly wavered for an instant, he seized the opportunity, breaking through the player’s defense with the simplest straight punch, then lowered his body to strike upward.

Then, under the shocking and magnificent Rising Dragon Fist, the 193cm tall Niuniu was launched into the air.

Niuniu’s whole body was gritting teeth and glaring in mid-air, feeling like his jaw was about to shatter, but what was worse was this was his first ti experiencing such helplessness to fight back in the ga.

He could feel that the opponent clearly hadn’t used any power above Black Iron rank.

Just the simplest punches and kicks

“I have no grudge against you, but I must use these victories to approach my god’s guidance, so, sorry, brave one.”

“Boom”

A vicious whip kick accompanied the enemy’s mockery, smashing into Niuniu’s chest and sending his whole body flying off the boxing ring into the audience.

Whether it was provocation or not, Niuniu’s falling direction was right toward the student group area and he was caught in a panic by Shrimp Catcher and Khaki Tony Tai.

Niuniu was unconscious now, but mysteriously he wasn’t seriously injured.

Obviously the opponent’s boxing skills were superior and he probably used so damn monk secret technique.

The whole area around the boxing ring was dead silent at this mont. Under the audience’s gaze, that person sighed, reached up to pull back his hood revealing cool silver short hair and monk’s robes with religious significance.

Not elaborate or specially decorated, just with a characteristically huge frost wolf head embroidered on the back of the monk’s robe. As he announced his clean and neat victory with a ceremonial bow of clasped hands, layers of frost circled around him like mist dispersing.

This already represented his background.

And upon seeing the tattoos on this person’s arms and neck, Count Andrei in the VIP seats suddenly stood up, exclaiming:

“A disciplined monk of the Winter Wolf Church! How could these ascetics who never leave their monastery appear here?”
