Su Chen went downstairs, opened his navigation map, and zood in with his finger. ’The Professional Analysis Departnt... Let see where it is... Found it.’
It was noon. The sun was dazzlingly bright, and the temperature was quite high.
’We already have an artificial sun, so why bother with changing seasons?’ Su Chen followed the map’s directions, sticking to the shady side of the road until he arrived in front of a large building.
Quite a few people were coming and going here: so older Judges, as well as so very young-looking seed mbers who were still in the training phase.
The ground floor lobby had ten service windows, but all of them had lines. Su Chen hesitated for a mont, trying to figure out which line was the shortest.
"Your Excellency, Su Chen?"
A woman in professional attire recognized Su Chen at a glance. She tucked a few stray strands of hair behind her ear and walked over with small, quick steps, her voice gentle. "Do you require a professional analysis?"
"Yes, I have so questions to ask," Su Chen nodded, glancing at her na tag—Shu Zichen.
"You’re a Core Seed, so you don’t need to wait in line. Please, co with ," Shu Zichen said in a low voice.
"Er..." Su Chen looked at the long lines. Quite a few people had noticed him and were looking over frequently.
"Alright."
Su Chen followed Shu Zichen upstairs. He could hear people murmuring below, but there was no dissatisfaction in their voices.
’In my past life, soone would’ve probably pulled out their phone by now...’ Su Chen thought idly. As she led the way, Shu Zichen asked in a low voice, "Excuse , are you here for a consultation about a sequence Profession or a special Profession?"
"A special Profession," Su Chen replied.
Shu Zichen nodded and quietly reminded him, "Your clearance is very high. You could have had your personal butler make an appointnt in advance. The analysis departnt can even send soone to your residence."
This was one of the many privileges afforded to a Core Seed, but since he hadn’t encountered the situation before, it hadn’t occurred to him that he had such a perk.
Shu Zichen led him to a lounge, poured him a cup of tea, and then respectfully took her leave.
Before long, two n walked in, one after the other.
"My na is Li Zhe, a senior professional consultant for the Judicial Court." The man in the lead stood ramrod straight and wore gold-rimd glasses. He gestured to the sowhat unkempt fellow beside him, whose stubble was growing in patches.
"This is Ruan Yuntao, also a senior professional consultant."
"Your Excellency, Su Chen, we will be assisting you today."
This was Su Chen’s first ti experiencing a so-called "professional analysis," so he wasn’t familiar with the process.
Li Zhe sat down with practiced ease, took out his personal smart terminal, and asked, "May I ask what requirent you are currently facing?"
The Professional Analysis Departnt was, in essence, a supplent to the Translation Departnt. Professional requirents were translated into text, but text itself could be interpreted in many ways.

Li Zhe explained, "Please rest assured, we are not prying into the details of your Profession. This information is related to the completion rate of your professional requirents, which in turn affects the success rate of your Profession’s employnt and advancent, and even its overall strength..."
But Su Chen was just marveling at their expertise. He really hadn’t considered so many questions. On his panel, the requirents even had progress bars; nothing was more intuitive than a progress bar.
"Those are all the requirents I have. As for the category, degree of refinent, and so on, I don’t know," Su Chen said, shaking his head.
"Does this Profession have any other requirents?" Ruan Yuntao, who had been standing to the side, suddenly asked.
Li Zhe’s brow furrowed. He said in a low, stern voice, "You’re asking too much."
They were only supposed to ask questions based on the requirents their client provided. Asking too much could easily make soone wary.
"Actually, I just wanted you to help coordinate with the Craftsmanship Departnt to see if they can provide the materials and a suitable environnt," Su Chen said.
The Judicial Court’s Professional Analysis Departnt had another important function: coordinating with other departnts to help people complete necessary professional requirents as quickly as possible.
"In that case, I have a good idea what your Profession is. A Soldier Nurturer, right?" Ruan Yuntao said with a look of realization. "Then you just need to contact the Craftsmanship Departnt directly. They have a standard procedure for this."
Li Zhe’s eyebrow twitched. He forced a smile and said, "My apologies, my colleague is just like that."
"It’s fine," Su Chen said, unconcerned.
Li Zhe let out a sigh of relief. "I’ll contact the Craftsmanship Departnt for you right away. If you head over now, you should be able to start as soon as you arrive."
’They’re so efficient,’ Su Chen marveled again. ’If I’d had to contact them myself, who knows how much ti I would have wasted.’
Only after seeing Su Chen off did Li Zhe turn to Ruan Yuntao in exasperation. "Old Ruan, we’re colleagues! If you want to get yourself killed, don’t drag down with you!"
Ruan Yuntao picked his nose and said lazily, "It’s not like he got angry. You, on the other hand... you didn’t even personally escort him to the Craftsmanship Departnt this ti. When that last Core Seed ca, didn’t you personally walk them all the way to the Engraving Departnt?"
