"You’ve never forged tal before, have you?" Jiang Xi asked, looking hesitant.
"I haven’t," Su Chen admitted freely. "Do you have any tricks you can teach ?"
Seeing Su Chen’s earnest request for guidance, Jiang Xi quickly waved his hands. "They’re not really tricks. Every tal has different properties. For starters, your fla temperature is a bit low..."
Jiang Xi could tell the fla’s approximate temperature just by looking at it. He helped Su Chen adjust it higher. "Also..."
His expertise was in this area, so he taught Su Chen a few small tricks to improve his efficiency.
DING! DING! DING!
The crisp ringing of the hamr gradually found a rhythm. Soon... the piece of Gold Ore was nearly refined. It had shrunk by almost half, to about the size of a fist.
He glanced at his panel. Under the requirent for refining raw tal materials, a progress indicator now showed 0.01%.
’Looks like refining it to this degree is sufficient,’ Su Chen mused.
"...Sir Su Chen..."
While he was refining the ore, Sun Zhiyu returned. He gave Jiang Xi a surprised look before saying, "The higher-ups gave their approval. You can move a small Forging Furnace over. Just have it sent back when you’re finished."
This wasn’t a major issue, so the approval was expected. Su Chen wasn’t surprised. He mused for a mont, then said, "There are too many raw materials. I doubt I can fit them all at once. Let’s have them sent over in batches."
"Have him deliver them."
Su Chen pointed to Jiang Xi, who was standing beside him.
Sun Zhiyu nodded thoughtfully. "Understood."
Su Chen confird the small Forging Furnace’s dinsions with Sun Zhiyu and realized it would just barely fit inside the Gravity Training Chamber.
Guessing Su Chen’s plan, Sun Zhiyu couldn’t help but comnt, "You’re certainly hardworking. A small Forging Furnace should be able to barely function under five tis gravity."
The small Forging Furnace from the Craftsmanship Departnt and the first batch of Gold Ore arrived at the Judicial Court almost right after he did.
After placing the small Forging Furnace in the Gravity Training Chamber, his available space was cut down to about a third of the room, leaving just enough space to swing a large hamr.
"You’re really planning on training while you forge, huh?"
Jiang Xi, who was in the middle of moving the Gold Ore, was stunned when he saw Su Chen making practice swings in the training chamber.
’It’s not easy being a Core Seed,’ he thought.
"Saves ti, increases efficiency," Su Chen replied nonchalantly.
The essence of training was to strengthen the body through a cycle of exertion and recovery. The only difference between a Body Refining Technique and swinging a large hamr was efficiency.

Su Chen mulled over how to completely integrate his training with the act of swinging the hamr.
He picked up the Cyan Steel Hamr. Under five tis gravity, the thing felt incredibly heavy. It took Su Chen a while to acclimate before he could slowly begin to swing it.
Arcs of electricity sparked across his skin. Altering the prescribed movents felt very unnatural, but Su Chen continued to experint, little by little.
Fortunately, the Thunder Brilliance Body Refining Technique was only an E-level technique; it wasn’t so complex that a single change would throw the entire system out of whack.
The core of the technique was to stimulate the body with electromagnetism. The fixed motions of swinging the hamr significantly weakened the stimulatory effect, but it allowed him to both train and forge simultaneously.
’This will work,’ Su Chen thought after a few monts of practice. He stopped and had Jiang Xi start adjusting the small Forging Furnace. After all, operating in a high-gravity environnt would cause fluctuations in both fla intensity and stability.
Jiang Xi was only a Tier One Professional, so it was difficult for him to work in an environnt with five tis gravity. He could only direct Su Chen remotely. It took them over half an hour to calibrate the small Forging Furnace until it achieved the sa performance as it would in a normal environnt.
"Good thing it’s only Gold Ore. The required refining temperature isn’t high. Otherwise, we really wouldn’t have been able to get this working," Jiang Xi said, wiping the sweat from his brow and letting out a long sigh of relief.
"Thanks for the trouble," Su Chen said as he saw him to the door. Jiang Xi shook his head repeatedly. "It was nothing, really. Not trouble at all."
After seeing Jiang Xi off, Su Chen returned to the Gravity Chamber. He downed a Potion and gripped the large hamr.
DING! DING! DING!
The faint, crisp sound of a hamr striking tal drifted out from the Gravity Chamber.
「As night fell, another villa not far away remained brightly lit.」
The first floor had been converted into a banquet hall. lodious music filled the air as the Inner Courtyard’s Seeds gathered in small groups, chatting amongst themselves.
On the second floor, however, He Kang’s eyebrows drooped even more, his face a perfect picture of distress. He forced a smile. "Su Chen didn’t co."
There were only five people in the room. Surprisingly, Zhu Xuan was among them. At the center of the group, Wei Yufan’s expression darkened at the news.
Soone beside him spoke up, annoyed. "He Kang, how exactly did you deliver the ssage? Brother Wei sent the invitation. Even Zhu Xuan is here. Is Su Chen not even going to show him that much respect?"
"Liu Chen, I delivered the ssage, I assure you. Whether he shows up or not is out of my control," He Kang said helplessly. "He probably had sothing urgent to attend to."
Liu Chen scoffed. "Zhu Xuan is busy preparing for his advancent to a Top-tier Profession, and even he showed up."
Zhu Xuan, standing nearby, looked increasingly composed and said nothing.
"And what about Su Chen? He went to the Translation Departnt this morning and the Craftsmanship Departnt this afternoon. He’s been running around all day. Is he really too busy to spare one evening?" Liu Chen was clearly well-inford of Su Chen’s movents.
"Once he advances to Tier Three, and after Zhu Xuan gives him a good beating, I’ll be the one to challenge him and knock him down a peg. Then I’ll see what it feels like to be a Core Seed."
"It’s not that easy," He Kang said, shaking his head. "We all saw what happened during Su Chen’s assessnt. Even if his Tier Three is just an Upper-tier Profession, his strength is nothing to scoff at."
Zhu Xuan’s expression turned cold as he recalled the assessnt.
"So what if his strength is impressive? Tier Two isn’t Tier Three, and he definitely lacks experience. It’s just a matter of who gets to him first and knocks him down," Liu Chen said dismissively.
"Still, he hasn’t even started pursuing his advancent yet," another person added, looking puzzled. "He chose his profession not long after entering the Judicial Court, but he still hasn’t gone to the Professional Analysis Departnt to make preparations. He did go there this afternoon, but it seems he was asking about special professions instead."
