Now reading: Chapter 234 - 151: Faceless Ghost Divine Son? from My Professions Have Too Much Personality, a Eastern novel by Tuan You Yuan.

Su Chen walked out of the wooden house, still pondering. Mo Cui was already extrely rare, let alone Scarlet. In the entire history of the Judicial Court, it had never appeared.

’I wonder if my Talent can reach the Scarlet level after I beco a Spiritualist,’ Su Chen mused.

He had made inquiries at the Judicial Court’s Translation Departnt, but the thods for fundantally improving one’s Talent were few and far between.

Only a few professions could do it, with Wise Man and Scholar being the most widespread among them.

There were thods to temporarily boost one’s Talent to et certain strange class initiation requirents, but it was just a deception to increase the success rate; it didn’t fundantally change anything.

’This is also a good chance to see if the path of the Purifier can be completed, or how far off I still am.’ Su Chen had been looking forward to this for a long ti. Thinking of the long-overdue Yuan Capital People, he couldn’t help but sigh. ’Why are they so slow? Hurry up already.’

Old Sang was waiting for him outside the woods. As Su Chen walked along the winding path, he recalled what Pu Zhenghong had said about the uniqueness of Morning Star Tier professions and couldn’t help but marvel.

’The Morning Star Tier really is extraordinary. The upper limit of the influence of a High Tier Deceitful God’s Power is a Tier Eight profession, and the Morning Star Tier isn’t even included in that.’

’But it seems no one has ever initiated into a Morning Star Tier profession, yet Pu Zhenghong spoke about it so convincingly. Could that information have co from those ruins?’

Pu Zhenghong had been very clear about things like being "recognized" or "chosen," but those ruins were supposedly very dangerous. It didn’t seem like information one could have learned from inside.

’Strange...’

As Su Chen was lost in thought, he erged from the small woods. Sang Hanhai saw him with his head down, deep in contemplation, and knew Pu Zhenghong hadn’t held anything back. He teased, "So? Quite an eye-opener, wasn’t it?"

"Yes," Su Chen said, snapping out of his daze. He nodded in agreent. "I never imagined a profession could be so miraculous."

"Haha..." Sang Hanhai laughed. "The Morning Star Tier can no longer be simply called a profession. You could even call it a ’Spiritual existence.’"

"Your Talent for resonating with the Holy Word Stone might allow you to find an alternative path, to obtain the information on the Stone Slab, and even its recognition."

Su Chen was also quite expectant. He mainly wanted to see what difference there was between a profession that had developed its spirituality in the outside world and one derived from his panel.

Sang Hanhai saw him out of the Translation Departnt, but Su Chen didn’t return directly to the Judicial Court. Instead, he set a new destination.

Before long, he arrived. It was a place in Yingfeng East City. The hovercar parked on the street, and after Su Chen got out, he looked around, spotted a figure, and quickly walked over.

The person led him to a hidden stronghold nearby. Teng Liang and Bu Siqi were both present, surrounded by various instrunts and equipnt. Staff mbers were busy at their stations, monitoring the surroundings.

"Junior Brother, is this the place?" Teng Liang asked upon his arrival, his gaze fixed on the holographic projection before him.

"Yes. According to the tip I received, this should be the area, but I’m not sure if it’s accurate," Su Chen said, glancing at the tactical table which displayed a 3D map of a small park.

This was the place where he had felt that strange sensation. He had asked Teng Liang to dispatch people here earlier, using the excuse of an informant’s tip.

He had been in the Judicial Court for over half a year. As a Core Seed, it was perfectly normal for him to have his own information channels. As long as the information wasn’t too outlandish, no one would pry too deeply into its source.

"This place is deserted. The detection devices haven’t found any clues," Bu Siqi said, fiddling with a detector. "If the tip is correct, the exact location will be hard to find."

"It’s just this one area. We’ll just comb through it," Teng Liang said flatly.

"The Inspectorate will definitely co running once they hear about it," Bu Siqi said.

"I’ll handle them," Su Chen said. Bu Siqi raised an eyebrow, his tone pointed. "Junior Brother, you seem to be quite close with the people from the Inspectorate."

"They’re trying to win over, to stir up trouble behind the scenes," Su Chen stated bluntly.

"As long as you know what you’re doing. You’re a Core Seed, so be careful not to give anyone a reason to talk," Bu Siqi warned. Both were Yingfeng’s enforcent agencies, so it was inevitable for people from the Judicial Court to get entangled with them.

But Su Chen’s case was clearly more than a simple entanglent. There was constant friction between the Judicial Court and the Security Departnt, and the conflict at the lower levels was quite intense.

Teng Liang had already given the order for the Judges under his command to lead their respective teams and begin screening the area step-by-step.

’What on earth could it be? This feeling is so strange...’ Su Chen also looked toward the virtual projection.

...

anwhile, in a hidden space beneath the park, a grayish-white crystal on an altar was flashing incessantly. A Faceless Man knelt on the ground, reporting:

"Divine Son, we still haven’t been able to contact the Sacrificial Chief. The Priest has returned to the Saint Master’s embrace, so it’s very difficult for us to construct a perfect Array."

"Useless!" The grayish-white crystal flickered, and a cold, ruthless voice erged.

Even now, he could still vividly recall the giant arm that descended from the sky. A part of his consciousness had been forcibly ground to dust within that shell.

He had almost never suffered such a humiliation. He had thought his biggest trouble this ti would be competing with the Believers of several other Divine Spirits. He never expected to be repeatedly defeated by the sa native.

That brute had attacked so brazenly on re suspicion, his temper even more violent than his own.

’When the Holy Banquet begins, I will make you taste true despair.’

But for now, impatience was useless.

In order to reclaim his shell and pose a sufficient threat to the Judicial Court, he had already deployed nearly all of his n and resources.

Now that he couldn’t contact the Sacrificial Chief, he could only think of another way.

’I failed to get the shell into a high-ranking position to see the Stone Slab. My arrangents in Yingfeng have gone up in smoke. I have to inform my main body as soon as possible, and work with the other Deceitful Gods to advance the Holy Banquet.’
