"Thank you, Chief Judge." Su Chen thanked him sincerely before reaching out to take it. It looked like a crystal, but it felt warm and surprisingly supple in his hand.
"You earned it." Jiang Shu Mo waved his hand dismissively, but then asked with so curiosity, "I recall the professional information you looked up was for the Tier Four Upper Calamity Walker, right? I don’t think this was a requirent for the advancent, was it?"
"It’s not. I’m going to use it to forge a weapon."
Su Chen’s heart skipped a beat, but he had already prepared an answer, so his response revealed nothing.
"I see." Jiang Shu Mo seed lost in thought. It was unclear if he believed him, but he turned and left.
’Being tested by this Chief Judge from ti to ti is actually kind of thrilling...’ Su Chen watched him leave, shaking his head to himself.
Given his current status, Jiang Shu Mo’s probing probably wasn’t born of suspicion, but rather a habit—the habit of a wily old fox.
Su Chen didn’t dwell on it. He went to the Gravity Chamber and closed the door.

Calming his mind, Su Chen assud his stance and continued to practice the [Returning Ruins ditation Technique].
He had reached Master Level with it several days ago, gaining an ability called [Ruins Abyss] that slightly increased his total Spiritual Power.
Since this was the final mont of Tier Three, Su Chen naturally had no plans to switch his ditation Technique.
He had been at this sa percentage the day before yesterday. Su Chen had planned to push through in one go today, but then Jiang Shu Mo had unexpectedly shown up with the Eye of the Thunder God.
Before long, however, the Spiritual Power in his mind began to surge. A feeling of overflowing from within told Su Chen, without even needing to look at his panel, that the final 1% had been filled.

The transformation was so violent that Su Chen was caught completely off guard. The expansion of his Spiritual Power allowed him to absorb his entire surroundings into his mind with perfect clarity, which made him feel uncomfortable.
But soon after, the expanded Spiritual Power began to collapse back inward toward his brain at a terrifying speed.
The abilities born from the three ditation Techniques—[Ningxin], [Ice Soul], and [Ruins Abyss]—rged with it, bursting forth with an incandescent white light amid the compressing Spiritual Power.
Soon, his Spiritual Power gradually condensed into a constantly trembling Spirit Core. As it took form, excruciating pain swept through his consciousness.

Su Chen’s chest expanded as he took a deep breath, sensing the change in his Spiritual Power. He was quite surprised; his once-drifting, source-less Spiritual Power had actually condensed into a core.
’A Spirit Core... Isn’t that sothing only a Tier Five can form?’
From what he knew, a Spirit Core was a highly condensed aggregate of Spiritual Power, typically only ford by Tier Five Professionals. For a Tier Four to form one, they would have to possess a full set of Top Level ntal Professions.
And even then, it would only be possible in the later stages of developnt.
There were many benefits to forming a Spirit Core: increased Spiritual Power recovery speed, a massive boost to Spiritual Resilience, and one more, most miraculous point.
If your physical body is annihilated, you won’t die imdiately. The Spirit Core can house your consciousness, and you can even possess the bodies of other living beings.
Of course, this kind of possession was rely a way to cling to life. Without the original body as an anchor, the consumption of Spiritual Power would continue to accelerate until it was completely depleted.
’Is it because my Spiritual Resilience and total volu have already reached the standard?’ Su Chen couldn’t help but guess. It was the only explanation, and it was all thanks to the various abilities he had continuously gained from his ditation Techniques.
He had accumulated this unique advantage tier by tier.
After a mont, Su Chen looked at his panel again. Most of his abilities had been enhanced, reaching Tier Four strength.
