Now, he finally had his chance. He had specifically selected a Tier Three Advanced Profession for the experint before he arrived, and it was already prepared on his panel.

Requirents Two and Three had already been weakened thanks to the Great Venerable’s influence. Originally, they required defeating five Professionals of the sa Tier and soaking for over an hour.
Low-tier Divine Power could affect Tier Three Professions. Using one portion for an experint was a drop in the bucket, given the amount of Divine Power he currently possessed.
The people from the Judgnt Departnt nearby were preparing a detection procedure to see if he had been corrupted, but Su Chen paid them no mind, thinking to himself:

’Let’s go with Cunning Fox.’
As his focus shifted, the dark pink power of the Cunning Fox entwined itself with the Fiery Fla Master profession.

’Replacing a profession requirent?’ Su Chen was surprised. This was a special reaction he had never triggered before.

As he thought about it, he selected the Fiery Fla Master’s second advancent requirent.
[Advancent Requirent Two for the Fiery Fla Master has been replaced: Fuse with a fragnt of the Heart of the Volcano.]
’Oh, so it changed from defeating enemies to collecting an item?’
Su Chen’s eyes glead. This effect was interesting. It didn’t have broad applications, but if he ever ran into a requirent that was simply impossible to complete, it would be worth the gamble.
"Su Chen."
Just as he was lost in thought, a sinister, ghost-like face suddenly appeared before him. Su Chen jumped, startled. His lips trembled as he said, "Teacher..."
Xia Hanshi stared at him suspiciously. "You’re not feeling anything strange, are you?"
The Judgnt Departnt’s detection procedure had already finished, and naturally, it found nothing abnormal.

By the ti he was done absorbing the Deceitful God’s Power, it was already noon. It was nearly September, and the artificial sun blazed down, making the air increasingly hot and dry.
’So, it seems Crimson reduces difficulty, Cunning Fox increases difficulty for a reward, and Dark Plague replaces the requirent,’ Su Chen mused as he walked. ’Then their Essences must have roughly the sa effects.’
’However, these effects can also conflict with one another. For example, when the Cunning Fox’s power increases a requirent’s difficulty, it specifies that the reward is only granted after completing it and advancing. That ans it can’t be erased by the Power of the Faceless Ghost or replaced by the Power of Dark Plague.’
’So, if I want to maximize the use of these Divine Powers, how should I go about it?’
He calculated carefully. ’When I first acquire a profession, the first step is always the ’favor’ from the Great Venerable, which weakens one of the requirents.’
