"Master Qing, the Balance Dao Central Hub held us up for ten days for no reason. Things might not be stable over at Taiyue," Wan Chen warned.

"Maybe it really was the Nether Fog Group?" Lin Yue said, watching the Star Gate draw closer.

"The Taiyue Hub belongs to the Flowing Light Group, a faction that specializes in operating Interstellar Hubs. They’re completely neutral and have even refused the Royal Court’s requests for investigative assistance on several occasions."

"A place like that would be hard to ambush us in, wouldn’t it?"

"Don’t worry, I have this under control." Qing Cang’s calm expression reassured the others, and they all relaxed considerably.

anwhile, the Copper Star breached the Star Gate. The hull trembled slightly as a blinding, dazzling light stread in through the viewports.

Su Chen instinctively squinted. The ship only stabilized after a violent tremor.

Outside the viewports, the scene had transford into the surreal expanse of the Flowing Light Space. This was the Teleportation Route.

"We’re finally safe in here." The tension Lan Hao felt finally eased. He had been outside with Su Chen, and the murderous glares directed at him had left him deeply unsettled.

Qing Cang’s eyes narrowed slightly. He turned and headed for the cockpit.

Without a word, Wan Chen turned and left. He needed to verify sothing.

"Senior Brother..." Su Chen caught up to Qing Cang and followed him into the cockpit.

"What is it?" Qing Cang asked, pulling up a star chart.

"I wanted to ask about Holy Professions." Su Chen glanced at the star chart. He didn’t know how to read it yet; all he could make out was a field of scattered dots.

"Holy Professions?" Qing Cang looked a little surprised, but then realization dawned. He said softly, "Lan Hao and the others told you, didn’t they?"

"Yes. After all, Holy Professions are so powerful." Su Chen made no attempt to hide his eagerness.

"Holy Professions... they aren’t easy to obtain..." Qing Cang understood Su Chen’s implication and shook his head helplessly.

"Doesn’t our Sect have any Holy Professions that everyone can learn?" Su Chen asked tentatively.

"Everyone can learn?" Qing Cang paused, then chuckled, a hint of teasing in his voice. "A Holy Profession can’t be created without soone at the Morning Star Tier. It’s the very foundation of a family or a faction’s existence."

"If it were you, would you be willing to share it for others to learn?"

"Uh..." Su Chen hesitated.

"You’re an honest one, not even bothering to feign it." Qing Cang chuckled. "However, the Holy Hall does have three Holy Professions. You can choose one and work toward mastering it over ti."

’If you have them, why are you ssing with ? The reason I hesitated is because I actually do have sothing I wouldn’t want to share,’ Su Chen thought, rendered speechless.

"Can I only choose one?"

"If it weren’t for your status as a Star Seed, you wouldn’t get any. Besides, a person’s focus is limited. Mastering even one is a great achievent," Qing Cang said, giving him a wordless glance.

"When we arrive at the Sect, we’ll compile information on the professions you’ve already acquired. An analyst will then help you choose a suitable Holy Profession."

"What about our Master?" Su Chen suddenly recalled.

"What our Master has can no longer be called a Holy Profession." Qing Cang shook his head. "Don’t even think about it."

’Not a Holy Profession?’ Su Chen’s interest was piqued, but Qing Cang offered no further explanation.

Having beaten around the bush, Su Chen finally asked what he really wanted to know, feigning curiosity.

"I heard them say that a Holy Profession has to be forged in the end, and it requires sothing called Morning Star Fire? Isn’t that sothing you can only get after advancing to the Morning Star Tier?"

"Their understanding is superficial." Qing Cang glanced at him and shook his head. "You do need Morning Star Fire, but it doesn’t need to be too strong. You just have to use a special thod to light the kindling."

"Kindling?" Su Chen asked quickly. "What is that?"

Qing Cang paused, but he understood Su Chen’s curiosity. After all, this was his first real exposure to the Dust Star Sea. Information that Wan Chen and the others took for granted was all new to Su Chen.

"It’s a bit complicated to explain. Basically, it’s anything that can serve as fuel for the Morning Star Fire. There are many types." Qing Cang offered an example. "The most widely used at the mont is Divine Blood..."

"Di...vine... Blood?" Su Chen froze, his expression suddenly priceless. "Is it the Divine Blood I’m thinking of?"

"Yes, the blood of a Deceitful God, to be exact." Qing Cang nodded. "And it’s the best fuel."

’I think... I actually have a drop of that,’ Su Chen thought, completely taken by surprise.

’These Deceitful Gods are walking treasure troves. Their power, their essence, their Divine Blood... it’s all useful.’

As for the special thod to ignite the Morning Star Fire, Su Chen didn’t ask. He figured Qing Cang wouldn’t tell him anyway.

After a bit more small talk, he turned and left, muttering to himself, ’Looks like I’ll have to keep seeking out Deceitful Gods.’

’Should I... or shouldn’t I?’ Qing Cang thought, watching Su Chen’s departing figure. He was hesitant. ’Or should I just stick to the plan and take him back?’

’He had an idea. It could clear so obstacles for Su Chen after he joined the Bronze Sect, intimidate a good number of people, and uphold their Master’s authority.’

’But it would also cause a massive upheaval within the Sect, leading to unknown consequences, and could even be detrintal to their Master.’

’It was a double-edged sword, which made him hesitate, unsure of what to do.’

After a long mont, he let out a slow sigh. ’All things considered, there were only twenty-two of them in the entire Dust Star Sea. Even if they obeyed their Master’s orders and protected Su Chen from outsiders at every turn, still...’

......

"Apologies. Su Chen has restricted access to his training projection." An indifferent electronic voice echoed through the training room. Wan Chen frowned deeply.

"Access restricted?" He was surprised, and his curiosity burned even hotter. ’What secrets is this guy hiding?’

But the system’s permissions were clear, and he lacked the authority to force the Copper Star to open it. After a mont’s thought, Wan Chen tried again. "Retrieve the combat log from Lin Yue’s most recent fight with Su Chen."

"Apologies. Lin Yue has prohibited others from accessing her combat records."
