Soul Sharing
Zu Zu Zu
W-What in the world?
You're looking absolutely stunning, Queen! What happened to you? You were already incredibly beautiful, but now your crown is even more glamorous. It's like a major upgrade, isn't it!?
"Uh Did you take it from ?"
"(Trembles)"
"Huh What do you an? We're together, sharing."
"(Nods)"
Yeah, even though the Pixie Queen is right in front of , I strongly feel her presence deep within my chest. And yet, from the Pixie Queen in front of , I also feel a presence similar to my own.
(Is this soul sharing!)
"(Smiles)"
Ah, so the salt god too.
"Okay, co on, salt god! Co out!"
[(Giggles Poof, roll~)]
Calling out to the salt god within, a palm-sized salt doll spilled out from my chest.
[(*Rolling rolling flopping and flopping! Munch munch! Scoop, splash!)]
The salt doll, rolling on the dungeon floor, struggled to get up, but finally stood and greeted with a raised right hand. Its form was smooth, resembling a person depicted in a green ergency light.
"Ah Yeah, I understand the situation. Sorry, but I need ti to sort out my feelings, so please wait a mont"
..
Hmm, baffling. But there was a clue in the Protection section of the stats: [Protection of Salt] Kujimitama and [Protection of Pixie Queen] Sachimitama.
In tis like these, in horror tabletop RPGs, one would usually go to the library to dig up old texts for information. But nowadays, information is readily available online. Besides, I vaguely rembered the terms Kujimitama and Sachimitama.
Kujimitama. It refers to spirits or things inhabited by souls with mysterious powers. While in my stats, it's labeled as Miracle Spirit, it should actually be a Divine Soul.
Ku doesn't an strange or weird, but it's used to refer to rare and precious things.
So, Kujimitama and Sachimitama are apparently what gods differentiate into when they divide themselves. By the way, the original form of division is called Nigimitama. You could think of this as sothing like the Na'vi in Avatar.
The Na'vi in DB were also gods on Earth.
In my case, however, since I'm obviously not a god, there's no way I could create things like Kujimitama or Sachimitama.
But with the soul sharing between , the Pixie Queen, and the salt spirit, it seems we've beco soulmates tightly bound by the hot bonds of our souls, more so than the muscly dudes who beca brothers-in-arms with the Peach Garden Oath.
Hmm, is this like superheroes sharing their powers? Unfortunately, Jero was actually human. So he couldn't receive superpowers.
However, the amount of life energy or soul shared between each other seems to be calculated proportionally. I, who had the highest level, and life energy, ended up losing the most. That's quite a loss.
At a glance, probably about 100 of my abilities were transferred to the Pixie Queen and the salt god. The fractions below 100 would be the portion transferred from the Queen and the salt god to .
But it's a bit strange that Luck and lancholy were left untouched.
Since they're fairies and gods, they might not even have the concept of luck or lancholy. If there's no concept, then the exchange would be ineffective. Is that a good thing?
But still sigh.
The important muscles I've been training have drastically reduced. When muscle mass is halved, it makes a significant difference in appearance. It's sad. I've gone from being a hulking macho man to a skinny macho man.
"(Sigh)"
"(Chirp)"
Well, personally, it's a significant power-down, but as a whole, it's a major reinforcent.
The Pixie Queen is another with a separate will, and the salt god is the sa. With the three of us as one, we can pull off jet-stream attacks and all-range assaults perfectly.
Oh, and the life energy absorbed by Lupa and the others seems to be akin to a divine splitting according to the connected Pixie Queen. It's like that little bespectacled magic boy who split his soul all over the place to ensure he wouldn't perish.
Huh, does that an? Could it be that I'm okay with dying???
