Perhaps there’s no need for force. Just intensely enhance my charm and invest all future Trait Points into the Divine Charm trait, and by dedicating my life to this path, in ti, I could conquer the universe with "beauty".
But then, he shook his head, dismissing this crazy idea.
Divine Charm, though powerful, is not omnipotent.
Any path, once refined to a very high level, can touch the boundaries of the laws.
Those with a firm resolve can neutralize other "laws" with their own "law".
Specializing in one aspect can make you easily countered.
When you really encounter an opponent who is immune to emotions and desires, no matter how handso you are, they would still draw their sword and kill you!
Lu Xun still firmly believed that the path of the Hexagonal War God was the path he should take.
He wants all the cosmic laws.
Only balance is eternally undefeated.
"Ti to subdue it."
He stood up, no longer wasting ti, and set off for that lake.
Three visits to the straw hut.
This ti, as soon as Lu Xun appeared, before he could showcase his charm, the little fish swam up from the bottom of the lake on its own, circling around him in an affectionate and pleasing manner, a stark contrast to its previous aloof attitude.
"I know your intelligence isn’t low, and you can understand my words."
With charisma glowing, Lu Xun extended his hand to the fish and gently persuaded, "I’m very interested in the Path of Space-Ti, and you’ve successfully caught my attention. The road is long, and I need a companion. Will you accompany ?"
Faced with this sudden invitation, the little fish hesitated slightly, not imdiately agreeing, as if it had concerns.
But Lu Xun was not in a hurry.
He had just invested a million Trait Points, still holding onto two thousand nine hundred Dutch!
If the charm wasn’t enough, he’d keep adding points.
No matter what, it wasn’t getting away today.
At the mont, the little fish was deliberating in the water, deeply conflicted.
Lu Xun smiled lightly, not urging it, giving it ti.
After a full five minutes, it finally nodded, signifying its acceptance of the invitation.
The little fish leapt out of the water with a splash.
Up and down, the four directions define space; ancient and present define ti.
With this leap, it seed to break the shackles of the universe, leaping out of the river of ti and arriving in the space-ti where Lu Xun resided.
Buzz!
Suddenly, the surrounding space solidified.
No, not just space; even ti stopped flowing.
Everything in the environnt was "frozen," space-ti completely frozen at the mont the fish broke the water.
Pop~
The little fish blew a bubble, and it burrowed into Lu Xun’s brow.
In so intangible way, he felt a profound and mysterious connection form between him and the little fish.
This was different from a master-servant contract.
It’s a mark between partners. With this mark, no matter where in the universe Lu Xun is, it can quickly locate his coordinates and co to his side.
"Lu Xun, I just casually glanced at your past experiences and the things you’ll go through in the coming millennia. You’re a very interesting life form, and I’m happy to be your companion."—Suddenly, an innocent child’s voice entered Lu Xun’s mind.
Judging by the voice alone, it seed to co from a babbling child.
But the speaker was a fish.
Lu Xun was astonished, unable to resist asking, "You can see my future? And you even saw thousands of years ahead?"
"There’s nothing strange about it. Just like how humans are born knowing how to breathe, ti and space are tangible and touchable to us. Even a ti scale of billions of years is but a glimpse to ," the little fish said, "In your eyes, the universe is infinitely large, beyond comprehension. But to , the universe is no different from this small lake."
"...Amazing." Lu Xun’s lips twitched, not knowing what to say.
The different dinsions of existence, just like ants and humans, although coexisting in the sa world, see the world in completely different ways.
He suddenly envied the little fish’s ability.
Being able to roam freely in the river of ti, past, present, future, nowhere is unreachable.
He wondered if he could project?
"You can’t possess my power, at least not for now."
The little fish seed to know his thoughts, so it said sothing enigmatic:
"All the forces, laws, and authorities in the universe are traceable and controlled by ’Origin’. But the power in your right hand is an exception; it doesn’t belong to this world. Once you touch what you shouldn’t, you’ll be corrected, so... don’t touch randomly."
Lu Xun paused and then his expression turned serious.
He had guessed many things about the All-Knowing Right Hand.
Yet, it wasn’t until hearing the little fish’s words did he truly understand a bit about his right hand.
The All-Knowing Right Hand doesn’t belong to this world? Not restrained by ’Origin’?
And... shouldn’t touch randomly?
Which ans, to this world, Lu Xun’s All-Knowing Right Hand equates to a BUG... even a virus.
Not just the right hand.
But Lu Xun himself is a traveler, his soul not originally from this realm.
The little fish’s implication was simple.
Its Path of Space-Ti; Lu Xun can project it, even now!
At that point, he too could beco a high-dinsional being like a "Space-Ti Traveler".
But the consequences would be severe.
The little fish used the conservative term "correct", but it actually ans "elimination".
The All-Knowing Right Hand and Lu Xun himself would be purged by the world!
"Can you give a bit more information?" Lu Xun asked, "You’ve seen my future, so you should know my ultimate fate. Based on what you said, the closer I get to the laws, the sooner ’Origin’ will discover , unless I stop progressing, which is inevitable, right? What exactly is ’Origin’?"
Project the little fish, and it’ll be discovered and eliminated imdiately.
But even if he doesn’t project it, Lu Xun is bound to control the Path of Space-Ti.
Not only space-ti, but his goal is to master all cosmic laws.
Isn’t that inevitable, to eventually encounter this so-called ’Origin’?
Could he be dood?!
"Regarding the source of all cosmic laws, much cannot be spoken of."
The little fish shook its head and said to Lu Xun, "Leaking too much is harmful to you and not beneficial. I too am bound by ’Origin’, so though I wish to accompany you and witness those interesting, exciting things on your future path, I can only choose another way."
"You’re also restricted?" Lu Xun frowned, "Then how did you get here?"
"I sneaked over, of course~" the little fish said slyly, "In your civilization’s terms, it’s ’slacking off at work’, um... that’s not right, I am a fish myself... ahem, anyway, that’s the essence of it. Once you reach that level in the future, you’ll naturally understand."
Lu Xun nodded, not pressing further.
Things beyond his understanding are useless to inquire about; without reaching that level, rely hearing is beyond comprehension.
He switched the topic and asked the little fish, "You said you’d accompany in another way?"
"Yes, I have to go back; otherwise, I’ll be discovered."
The little fish said, "But my clone will remain, to give you so help. You can explore its functions by yourself. Once I have so free ti, I’ll sneak over to play with you. Rest easy, my good partner; with the mark I left on you, wherever you go, I can find you."
Lu Xun’s lips twitched and he asked it, "When you say ’see you later’, does that an in ten minutes or ten years?"
"I don’t know." The little fish sighed, "It could be either, or even a hundred years later. My ’work’ is quite busy and complicated... anyway, I’ll visit when I’m free to play with you."
It had sneaked out during work hours to see Lu Xun.
Now it had to return, or face severe consequences.
What exactly is ’Origin’? Lu Xun was very curious.
Is it the consciousness of the universe? The source of all laws? Or sothing like a "Supre Main God"?
"What’s your na?" Before parting, Lu Xun asked it.
"Na? That’s so unnecessary. You can call whatever you want." The little fish replied nonchalantly.
"Then let’s call you ’Xiao Yu’."
Lu Xun shrugged, reaching out to it, "Co, partner, into my hand!"
Though for now, projection is impossible, analysis is still feasible.
Those Trait Points must be secured!
