2008: Chapter 2002: Frank Parker, have you fallen in love with her?
Rebecca Kelloway saw Frank Parker sitting on the sofa.
Looking at the man who once cared for her and loved her unconditionally but now treated her coldly and distantly, her feelings were complicated.
She slowly walked over.
Hearing her footsteps, Frank Parker looked up.
“Frank, sorry to have kept you waiting.
You’re not upset, are you?” Rebecca walked gracefully to a seat opposite the man, and a maid imdiately brought her a cup of coffee.
She took a sip.
Frank Parker looked at her expressionlessly, “Speak.
What do you want from ?”
Rebecca looked at his emotionless face, and her own expression stiffened.
Ashton Heath had always been indifferent to her.
So even when he later rejected her and treated her coldly, though she was upset, she didn’t feel a huge difference.
But it was different with Frank Parker.
She had enjoyed this man’s care and affection for so many years.
Only once sothing we owned so wholeheartedly was suddenly lost would make it even more unbearable.
Even now, Rebecca still couldn’t quite accept that disparity.
“Frank, how long has it been since we’ve seen each other?
Can’t we catch up first?”
“I don’t have ti to catch up with you,” Frank said coldly.
“If you don’t say what it is you want, I’m leaving.”
Frank Parker stood up as he spoke.
As if he was really going to leave.
Rebecca panicked, “Frank, wait, don’t go!”
She was a little annoyed, took a deep breath, and held back her anger, “Let’s talk sowhere else.”
A mont later, the two were in the study.
Rebecca closed the door.
“Speak up, what is it?” Frank Parker looked at her, his face cold.
Rebecca clenched her fists, “Do we have to et only if I have sothing to discuss?
Do you really want to beco estranged from to this extent?
Yes, I deceived you about that incident, but it was the only ti.”
“In your eyes, am I that unforgivable?”
Frank Parker frowned, “Only deceived once?
You think it’s a trivial matter, not worth getting so worked up about?”
“Isn’t it?” Rebecca’s eyes filled with grievances, “I know I was wrong, and I’ve apologized to you.
Can’t you forgive for the sake of the many years we’ve had together?
Even if I’ve made a mistake, you have to give a chance to correct it.”
“Because of your so-called mistake, do you know what I missed out on?” Frank Parker’s eyes turned a bit colder.
“For you, this was just one mistake, but for , because of you, I missed the most important person in my life.”
“You want to forgive you?
Rebecca, I’ll never forgive you in my life.”
Rebecca’s face stiffened at his words.
Her fingers clenched tightly, her lips pressed together.
Looking at the man who had promised to treat her well for a lifeti, Rebecca couldn’t help but ask, “Have you found the person who saved you?
Who is she?
If I’m not wrong, she should be a girl, right?”
“Frank Parker, do you love her?”
“Just because she saved you, you fell in love with her?”
“What about our more than ten years together?”
“You don’t need to know who she is,” Frank said coldly.
“I’m not here to discuss these questions with you.
If you don’t start talking about the real issue, we might as well not bother.”
Rebecca’s face stiffened once more for several seconds.
