"Joanna, I’m not..." Regina Kelloway hurriedly tried to explain.
"Regina, you should know very well how the Heaths treated our Kelloway family before, right? Jeremy Lawrence is now the youngest master of the Heaths, he is one of the Heaths. The Heaths are our enemies, and you’re still in contact with an enemy? How can you do this to your Kelloway surna!"
Regina knew that she couldn’t anger Rebecca Kelloway at this ti.
But upon hearing Rebecca say such things, she couldn’t help but defend Jeremy: "Joanna, it’s true that the Heaths never helped our Kelloway family. But this matter can’t be blad on Jeremy either. He is just a junior in the Heath family, and he was just acknowledged not long ago. Even if he wanted to help, he would be powerless."
"Hmph," sneered Rebecca, "So what? As long as he’s one of the Heaths, he’s an enemy of the Kelloway family. You’re not allowed to have any contact with him in the future!"
Regina looked at Rebecca like this, feeling incredibly strange.
"Joanna, I haven’t had much contact with Jeremy in a long ti. I’ve already left Closia, and I won’t have much to do with him in the future. However, Jeremy is not my enemy; he hasn’t done anything to wrong ."
"I won’t bla the Heaths’ unwillingness to help on him."
Even knowing that Rebecca would definitely be angry, Regina still said so.
As expected, just as her words fell, she saw Rebecca’s face darken: "So you’re saying, you’re not willing to listen to ? You still want to continue interacting with Jeremy?"
After thinking about it, Regina sincerely said to Rebecca: "Joanna, I am not a child anymore. Please don’t treat like a child all the ti. I know how to handle my relationship with Jeremy."
"Regina Kelloway!" Rebecca’s face turned black, "I will never allow you to have any contact with Jeremy. Listen well, I am now in charge of the Kelloway family. If you don’t behave, I will cancel all your supplentary cards, and you will never get a penny from again."
Regina was stunned.
She looked up, disbelievingly, at Rebecca.
Rebecca had been overbearing before,
But not to this extent.
"You can interact with any other guys, but not Jeremy!" Rebecca gritted her teeth, "If you still consider your sister, then listen to ."
"Joanna, why? Just because Jeremy is a mber of the Lawrence family? Is the real reason because of Jeremy’s sister? Because Jeremy’s sister and Ashton are together, and you don’t like his sister, so you don’t like Jeremy either." Regina hesitated for a few seconds before finally voicing her thoughts.
For a mont, Rebecca’s face turned ugly.
She glared at Regina angrily.
"None of the Heaths are decent. Do you think Jeremy is good? Everything I’m doing now is for your benefit. You’re still young and naive, and it’s easy for you to be manipulated by them."
"Do you think I’m harming you?"
"Joanna, I know you an well, but..."
"Just listen to ." Rebecca didn’t let her finish and forcefully interrupted her.
*
After leaving Rebecca’s room, Regina stood at the door, dazed for a while.
Rebecca firmly opposed her having any contact with Jeremy.
She even threatened to cut off her financial resources.
This was the first ti Rebecca had been so overbearing with her.
Since coming back this ti, Regina felt that Rebecca had changed a lot, to the point where she felt like a stranger to her.
