She was enjoying a strawberry yogurt that had just been served by a waiter, and it tasted delightful.

She glanced at the wine glass sitting in front of Ashton Heath that still had a bit of red wine left. Just as she reached for it, soone held her hand back.
She blinked, looked up, and t a pair of deep and alluring dark eyes, as profound as the night itself.
"Didn’t I tell you not to drink?" A handso man, who could make one dizzy with his looks, held her hand, took the wine glass, and set it aside.
"But..." Joanna looked a bit confused, "if soone offers a toast, I..."
She surely couldn’t refuse, right?
If she didn’t drink, people might think she was disrespectful.
"That’s not an option." Ashton Heath, quite overbearing, stated in a tone that allowed no room for negotiation, "If I say you’re not drinking, then you cannot even touch a drop."

"But..." Joanna looked at Wendy who was still holding up her glass of wine, but her face didn’t look so great.
Ashton followed her gaze and looked up too.
He wasn’t shy like Joanna. He said directly in a cold tone, "She doesn’t drink. If you want to propose a toast, you can go and toast soone else."
At that mont when Wendy’s eyes t his, she felt a bit flustered and shy.
But Ashton’s response made her facial expression instantly turn awkward.
She squeezed the wine glass tightly, a layer of mist appearing rapidly in her eyes, looking pitifully at this extrely handso man who was also extrely indifferent towards her.
A mont ago, his eyes were full of tenderness when he talked to the woman in his arms.
But the very next second, when he faced her, his eyes were filled with nothing but indifference.

In the beginning, when Ashton started dating Joanna, Yannick thought his problem had gotten better.
But he soon realized, Ashton’s old habits hadn’t changed at all.
Because, apart from Joanna Lawrence, his attitude towards other won hadn’t changed one bit from the past.
He only revealed his tender side in front of Joanna Lawrence.
In front of other won, he was still the indifferent, proud, self-disciplined, seemingly uninterested in won, "weirdo".
In fact, Ashton Heath was always this indifferent towards won.
