He paused for a few seconds after his sentence and joked, "I’m not looking for a wife, so whether you’re good or bad has nothing to do with ."
Joanna Lawrence: "..."
Wind Selleck said a few words to her and then left.
As soon as Wind left, Joanna saw Linda walking over to her with a surprised look on her face.
"Joanna..." Linda approached her and handed her the phone.
"Linda, what’s wrong?" Joanna took the phone, looked down at it, and her face also showed a surprised expression.
"Joanna, your scandals with Frank Parker. He ca out personally to refute the rumors. Is it true that you saved him in the past and that you’re his lifesaver?"
Linda asked with surprise and curiosity.
Joanna looked at Frank’s Blog post that he had just published without saying anything. After a mont, she looked up with so surprise.
"Did you see his post?" Linda asked.
"Yeah." Joanna nodded, "I’ve read it."
"Is it true?"
,p>Joanna hesitated for a few seconds, then nodded again: "It should be."
Linda: "Should be?"
Joanna returned the phone to her: "Many years ago, I had a car accident and forgot so things. I don’t rember saving him, but he said that it was who saved him that night. My dad also said that he took to the Parker family that night, and I disappeared for a while. When I ca back, I was soaking wet."
"So, I think this matter should be true."
Linda was speechless.
After a long silence, she slowly exclaid, "I never thought you’d turn out to be Mr. Parker’s benefactor. Rebecca Kelloway is really disgusting, not only taking credit for your good deeds but also spreading rumors about you and Mr. Parker having an affair."
"With Frank’s statent coming out, I think she’s done for. Hmph, she deserves it. She lifted a rock and smashed her own foot. However, it’s still a bit surprising that Frank would be so resolute and not leave her any room for redemption."
"Even if it was actually you who saved him back then, he and Rebecca have known each other for many years, and their relationship used to be so ambiguous. I thought Frank wouldn’t take things this far."
Joanna was silent for a few seconds after hearing this, and then smiled faintly, "I didn’t expect it either."
"But that saves you a lot of trouble." Linda said, "At least in this matter, you don’t have to clarify anything anymore. It’s just a matter of how many people will believe in Frank’s statent."
Frank’s move indeed surprised Joanna quite a bit.
It also resolved a big problem for her.
With him doing this, he and Rebecca probably wouldn’t be able to return to their previous relationship in this lifeti.
Although Joanna was sowhat grateful to him, she couldn’t help but frown the mont she thought about his feelings for her.
Frank’s Blog post was unexpected for Joanna.
Joanna had already figured out how to handle the situation.
But with Frank’s post, it did help her, and she could crush Rebecca even harder later on.
"Rebecca will definitely co out and deny it." Joanna thought about Rebecca’s personality and stated her opinion, "The incident happened so long ago, even if she denies it, no one can find evidence that she’s lying."
"Even if the incident that night was recorded on surveillance, no one would have saved the footage from that night."
